This towing company is great!! They came in 45 minute like they said they would. They rescued us after another towing company left us stranded for 4 hours!! If you need a tow, this is the company to call! I initially called roadside assistance when I got a flat today on the highway, and they set me up with another company. That tow company lied repeatedly about their ETA 3x that I was stuck on the side of the highway for over 3 hours. Finally I cancelled and decided to look online for local companies to call myself. Hendrickson came to my rescue within 40 minutes. They were kind, professional, and helpful. Exactly what you would expect and want from a service. I wish I called them sooner; I was so pleased with their prompt service. If anyone I know experiences car trouble on the road and needs a tow, this is the first -and probably only- company I'd recommend. read more

This company was phenomenal and came to the rescue when needed as Another tow truck company came out twice in regards to the same issue and couldn't assist- just because of pure laziness and getting paid from the insurance company. Hendrickson came out quickly to assist and was able to get the vehicle towed to the autobody shop timely. The driver was super nice and helpful as well. I am so thankful to have worked with them and wish they came out originally. I will never go by the advise of the insurance company but by my own knowledge and will def. use them again. read more

Horrible, horrible service! Do not use these guys for your towing needs. And let me tell you why... Today my car broke down on Jericho turnpike across the street from Elwood movies shopping center. So I called Hendrickson "Emergency Services" (by the way- the word "emergency" signifies that there is some kind of urgency to the whole thing- clearly not what Hendrickson's thinks) and got a quote for 150.00 to tow my car fr there to Plainview where my mechanic is, which I agreed to. When I asked the guy how long until the tow truck arrives, he told me 45 minutes to an hour. Meanwhile Hendrickson's is less than four miles from where I was. I agreed anyway thinking maybe the guy was on another call somewhere. So I immediately decided while I was waiting to go to Dunkin' Donuts across the street and get something while I waited. The whole trip to Dunkin' Donuts took me about five minutes after which I went back to my car across the street to wait for the tow. As soon as I got back to my car, a Hendrickson's tow truck pulled into the Dunkin' Donuts I was just in (which was clearly the guy sent for me) and I watched as the driver went into the store and was in there for a half an hour talking and b.s.ing with the girl there while he got his order. The whole while I was watching him. So in that time (which I was clearly getting more aggravated as I waited) I called another tow service (Anytime Towing Services in Huntington Station). After being told by them (Anytime- which I was fine waiting for after this horrible service from Hendrickson's) that they'd be a half hour tops, I proceeded to call Hendrickson's to cancel my "no-show while I was watching putz around through the window" tow guy. I was stern on the phone but polite to the dispatcher at Hendrickson's about why I was canceling my tow fr them and told them exactly what scenario was going down. Well, after hanging up the phone I immediately got a call back from Hendrickson's and whomever was on the other end of the phone told me I was "a real piece of s**t for canceling the tow and that it had just turned 45 minutes". Let me tell you, I went off on the guy on the phone from Hendrickson's and told him where he could get off and what he could do. I have never in my life experienced such horrible customer service. And I will never, EVER, even if I have to push my car by hand home, use Hendrickson's "Emergency Services" again. Ever. AND to top it off after I told the guy where to get off and what he could go do, he called back again trying to curse me out! Ballsy, eh. Funny thing is someone else from Hendrickson's called me back 5 minutes later trying to explain that the previous caller "had been on call for the past 24 hours" and then that "the guy I saw wasn't sent for me" which is irrelevant to the fact of how the dispatcher or whomever I originally was on the phone with talked to me. There is no excuse possible for the way I was talked to on the phone. I know this review is long but I just want people out there, potential customers- paying people, to understand completely why I am giving this place a bad review. I truly hope this helps someone. Also, I want to add that the towing company that did help me (Anytime Towing Services) came in 20 minutes and cost me $25.00 less than Hendrickson's quote. And the driver was really a pleasurable guy. P.S.- I gave it one star only cause I have to in order to complete my review- otherwise I would have given it none. read more

Waited over 2 hours for a tow truck to arrive under our roadside service. Man came to change a tire, didn't have a jack! Garbage service. Tow trucks are a dime a dozen find a better one. read more

Do not - I repeat - do not, use this towing company. The guy wanted to run up the "yardage" bill and refused to take the car to the auto body company. Told us it was too late on a Friday. Surprise. Surprise. On Saturday when we met his demand for $331 cash for a drive from Bay Shore to Islandia, he said "no one was at the yard" to release the car. What a shocker! The car was able to be finally be picked up on Monday. They appear on the SCPD and Town of Islip's accident roster and they should be REMOVED from that list. read more

Geico's roadside assistance service dispatched this company to tow my Jeep Cherokee from Plainview LI , where I work, to Queens where I live. Drivers name was Johnny. He was quick, polite, and made me feel at ease during the whole process. Really nice, genuine guy. I got home at about the same time as I would have normally and it took him maybe 3 minutes to get my car off the flatbed and into my driveway. A+ experience all the way. read more

I called this company and was quoted 150 dollars for a container transfer from Huntington to East Northport. The day of the move I gave the driver my credit card. He called into the office and handled the billing with them. When he handed me the receipt it was for $271.56. when I asked what was that he simply replied the receipt. I got on the phone with the office who Coinsadently was the same girl who quoted me the 150 denied it and claimed it was impossible. Me and my partner both heard the quote because she was on speaker phone. SCAMMERS ! Stay away from them. read more
