The gentleman at the counter serving with a horribly attitude, impatient. Worst shopping experience in freehold

This store was well on its way to failure. Fortunately it appears they turned it around…read more I need a place to buy car parts. It's just a fact of my life. Amazon and Walmart are great, don't get me wrong, but if you have an issue with a part you need a place to go to address your issue. Advance Auto fits that niche perfectly. The store itself isn't spectacular. None of the local parts places are that great. They don't have enough people working the counter so expect to wait to be helped. Their weekly specials aren't all that special. But if you put a little effort into it, you can save a lot of money at Advance. Go to their website and sign up for their "perk point" program. You get a $5 coupon for every $25 you spend. If you spend more than $25 they'll deliver your parts to your house for free or you can pick up the part at the store if they have it in stock in 30 minutes. Want more? Ok. When you order online you get a substantial discount, usually 20 percent. Still more? You can stack your discounts. Get your 20 percent and use a "perk Point" coupon as well. Plan out your repair ahead of time, order online, pick up in store, and save a bunch of cash.

Very not cool. I called about 20 minutes ago and after it rang a bunch of times, the guy told me to…read morehold, then I had to hear their same message about same-day pick up, same-day shipping yada yada yada, safety procedures yada yada yada and then it sounds like the guy clicked on the phone like he was switching lines to pick up, but he just was putting me back to the hold message, so I stupidly waited another 10 minutes. At 8:54 PM I realized this guy is not picking up to actually speak to me as he's just biding his time until the store closes at 9 PM!! Again, I called about 20 minutes ago, so it wasn't like you were just closing, and I just needed to know if you could order an item because you have it in every color but the one I need. Thankfully, Lowes has it and you just lost yourself a sale and potentially good a new customer!! Hope it was worth it to put me on hold for 20 something minutes when you knew you had no intention on picking up my call! To the headquarters, you can have all the marketing nonsense you want, but without actual customer service, you have nothing.

Now called Raceway Nissan, I had an extremely good experience with purchasing a new Nissan Rogue…read morefrom this dealership. It started with the super friendly receptionist, Phyllis, who welcomed us and offered us bagels, crumb cake and coffee. Nice start to a good experience. They assigned us to our salesman Jim who was professional and friendly. When I told him what I was looking for in the Rogue, he knew exactly what SUV I was interested in - all black. So he set up a test drive and away we went. There was no set test drive route so I got to drive anywhere I wanted to test out this awesome new vehicle. This Rogue was the Midnight edition and man she was sweet!! Got back to the showroom and decided I wanted it. We then went to speak with Carl, the finance manager. What a character!! We never laughed so much and he was super efficient and professional. They let me take the car home that day and we returned the following day with a bank check for the deposit. Oksana gave us a very informative overview of the Rogue's features and was sweet and professional. Overall an excellent experience with nothing negative to say! I don't get all these bad reviews and I'm thinking they are fake. This is a super clean and professional dealership and I highly recommend it for your car buying needs. Oh, and the bagels weren't too bad either!!

Life is FULL of unexpected silver linings. I recently got…read morerear-ended in my Rogue for a second time! (The first time I didn't even have the car long enough to make my first payment!) This accident kept me deep in my gratitude for life , but insurance declared the car a total loss. Loss is so hard, and if we're speaking metaphorically here, if there's anything this past year taught me, it's that with great loss comes with new beginnings. Sure these new beginnings can be lonely, and scary. But they can also show you how beautiful life can be. Perspective and mindset is everything. Thank you John Pearce and Benjamin Martinez of Freehold Raceway Nissan for taking this experience of loss to a new level. With total loss, you don't have much time to shop for a vehicle! With the help of my rock, and hero Rob, my brother, we were met with empathy, care, concern, and excitement all in the most appropriate of times. We told them what I had, what color I wanted and specified that I didn't want to lose any features. I never thought I'd be able to upgrade at the same time! This was by far the quickest, easiest transaction for a car I've ever experienced in life. If you need a new car or even want to upgrade what you have, John and Ben are your go to's for a beautiful line up of Nissan vehicles. John said I'd feel like a queen now, and he's sooo right! You don't have to be a passenger princess to feel good driving a new car! It's the beginning of a new era with this beauty. Can't wait to pick a name and see all the adventures I get to experience with her! Do you name your cars?
