THEN I read that that's a no-no and I started stressin about it pretty hard so when I got the funds I looked for a shop nearby and up comes Snider's. I don't have a European car, as their sign states their specialty is, but front desk guy assured me that they can handle my Toyota Hybrid. So I made an appointment for the next week, and came in. Same nice guy at the desk, I told him I'd be waiting on site for the work to be done. They have a big room with nice, old leather couches and a kitchen table and a recliner and aTV for us to sit in while waiting for our cars! So I'm posted up on a claimed couch (the place was all mine, tho) when The mechanic AND the nice front desk guy came out and told me that I didn't need a radiator flush!! And they then when I said I couldn't afford an oil change, they checked the oil said it's OK no need for that to change right now (cuz we couldn't read the oil change sticker.) I told nice front desk guy that I had gotten spooked when trying to change my own oil on my car and he walked me thru what to do to get unspooked. So I can change my own oil again. They just saved me a bunch of cash, and they were so helpful and nice and reassuring! 10/10

If he doesn't look up the estimate as you're waiting on the phone he'll call you back within a reasonable amount of time to let you know what your car may need and what it will cost. I find Snider automotive to be very honest, reliable and affordable. Even when I asked them about working on a specific model of car that they don't normally deal with they referred me to another amazing garage in the same neighborhood who is also very reliable and affordable. My wife and I also had an issue with a stick shift that James gave us a temporary fix until we could make it into the shop to have the appropriate maintenance done on the car. The previous owners of the car that I've taken to Snider automotive I've also been going there for years and are very satisfied. I'm glad they turned me on to this garage in Madison. If you have a Volvo this is the place to go.

I had a situation where a third party valet double parked my car in a handicapped spot - I had lost the key and the owner had just given me one hour to get it moved before he called the police to ticket and impound it. I called expecting that they wouldn't be able to make it to me in time considering I had only had 45 minutes at that point. One of Rob's guys, Dustin, showed up at the perfect time and saved the day. AAA didn't call me to tell me a driver was on the way until 8 hours after my first request for a tow. I am so grateful I snapped a photo of the card I got from a month ago's service. I recently had some damage to the driver door of my Eruption Green Bronco and I took it to an actual collision center for an estimate. The collision center told me it would be in the neighborhood of $1500-$2000 and they would have to repaint both doors on the driver's side in order to match it as best they could. But the guy in the collision center also recommended Dent Machine and gave me Dale's business card. I texted Dale on a Friday with photos and he gave me a price estimate and said he could repair it on Monday at 11: 00 am. Well, Dale showed up at 11:00am and repaired the door for the price quoted. He was very friendly and patient enough to answer all my questions, I told him I was very skeptical of the technique. He said he understood the skepticism and then proceeded to repair the door to his standards, and it turned out beautifully! The service was exceptional. Dale was very professional and the quality of his work is second to none. The final bill was approximately $495.00, and I was so impressed with the results that I gave him a tip, which I normally would not do in this instance. In short, I can't recommend Dale and his company Dent Machine enough. Professional Service, Highest Quality Work and Exceptional Value.

I'm posting this for my husband...I have a bad tendency lately to be unable to drive my husband's…read moretruck without incident...the first time Dale came all the way out to Clarksville he got all the dents out and you could not even SEE where they were prior. This last time my husband was having work done on the truck (line-ex, lifts etc etc) and I went ahead and jack-knifed the trailer behind the truck causing a new dent, threatening to delay the scheduled work on his truck. To make a long story short, despite all the terrible things I've done to my poor husband's truck, Dale came right out in a day and spent hours in the hot sun ensuring that the dents were gone. It's unfortunate we're on a first name basis with a dent repair guy, but he does great work and I highly recommend him. Hopefully I won't need him again!
