Unlike several Sacramento locations, they used common sense and were willing to help me replace a battery that was still under warranty, even though I couldn't locate the receipt. They treated me with empathy, listened to the situation, and simply did what was right for the customer. That level of service is rare these days. I drove all the way from Sacramento because of how helpful they were, and it was absolutely worth it. Hats off to the Shingle Springs team for being community-focused, people-driven, and running their business the right way. I only wish more stores operated with the same mindset.

I called over the phone to…read moresee if I had a warranty still on some parts, the manager Sandy picked up and talked me like she was too annoyed to talk to me. She was very hesistant in giving me any information about whether or not they actually had parts in stock, it was all maybes and probablies. Later I show up to buy the parts, and bring the old ones back to warranty out. They wouldn't allow me to warranty them because apparently they're master mechanics that can diagnose cars without even looking at them or the old parts.I told them I checked the caliper pistons and guide pins to make sure they weren't sticking or seized or that my brake hoses weren't twisted or damaged, they had an employee that was off the clock that decided to butt in and repeat what I said and asked if I checked those items. The problem is with their garbage parts they sell. The new brakes I got from oreillys a while back now have a little well over 10k miles and they've worn out nice and evenly, but apparently Sandy and her team like to argue and not be of help. Also won't be returning because of all the racist comments I heard from the older employees working there some months back. This place is not very helpful, I recommend autozone or oreillys

YOU WILL WANT TO READ THIS REVIEW!…read more I used this company because I wanted to use a local company. I was going to get two jeeps sprayed but reduced it to one just in case. Good thing I did. I asked if they would be able to remove certain items and screws instead of spraying over them. I was told not an issue at all. I brought my jeep in and showed them exactly what I wanted done. I left feeling they had a good understanding.. That was not the case! When I came to pick up my jeep I was told that they had broke one of my bolts "due to rust" and they were too scared to take the rest out. The bolt they broke was the door bolt nut. I have taken these off and on several times throughout the year and never had any issues at all with them. Then I was directed to some side mirror mounts where the worker said he could not get them undone at all. So instead of calling me and asking... he just line X'd the whole thing. He did not even try and remove any screws or tape over any screw or bolt heads.. pretty much did a lazy get it done LineX job. Only reason this is not a 1 star is due to the actual lineX itself. It looks decent but I am sure I am going to have issues down the road. I would avoid this location at all cost! After my issues my neighbor and some of my 4 wheel buddies said they had the same issues there. (thanks for telling me after).

My experience has been that he is not only fantastic at his craft, but he's honest and fair. Most recently he fabricated my military trailer. He did such a great job and I took it out and broke the Jack right off it. I told him about it and that it was 100% my fault. He fixed the jack which would have taken me hours to attempt to do and I probably wouldn't have fixed it right. He told me it was a really quick fix for him and not to worry it was complentary. That's the kind of person he is, and I encourage you to use him for fixing up your Offroad vehicle!
