They not only do an amazing job and give outstanding suggestions on upkeep on your vehicle. I never feel rushed or confused about the importance of work needed to be done on any of my vehicles because they take the time to explain why and what needs to be done. They have even been honest and told me that I DIDN'T need work done to my vehicles when OTHERS assured me I did (in the beginning you get a few estimates from a few places) I will never go anywhere else. This family run business will even help you get a soon to be driver in a car you can afford... Love being able to buy a car from someone I can trust!! The cashier was very friendly and didn't make a stink about the time. She did try find the best value for windshield wipers with the sale paper but I ended up with cheaper ones because my size of sale was not in stock. They were child friendly, which I appreciated. Wipers were installed quickly. I had never changed a lightbulb for my car since owning it so I wasn't sure if I had the right bulb. The clerk told me I can return it as long as the package wasn't opened and when I remove the first bulb to look and see if they were the same. (They were) There is another auto part store next door to this one but Advance has always been super friendly and helpful to me for the 9 years I've been driving so my loyalty is with them for my car part needs.

I order stuff that's ready for pick up but the employees can't find it in the store and don't even know what it is or where to look for it!!! 1 employee working the counter AND answering the phone's while the other's are wondering around the store or sitting on their asss in the back! They gave him a transmission from a 96. He called on Friday around 3PM and they sounded sincere in making it right even though they're closed on weekends. On Saturday morning we didn't hear back and decided to stop by to see if they had one on the shelf on the way to get a transmission somewhere else in case they didn't. Well, they didn't have one. The OWNER was extremely disrespectful after he asked for the money back since the car is out of commission due to their screw up. After he gave the money back we asked why he was mad and he told us to f*** off and didn't care if we were paying customers. He also threatened to "hit us in the mouth". Not once did we cuss at him even after he dropped multiple F-bombs. Combined we work on a lot of cars and will never come back here. I'd rather pay more than deal with him.

I was referred to Joe's by a place I used to do business with in King George. I called and spoke to Joe who went above and beyond to a complete stranger/ female over the phone. He called around to other places for me when he did not have one of the parts I needed. He did not have to do that for a stranger over the phone......I'm just saying..this says something about his character and desire to provide good customer service...there are always 2 sides to a story ! I had a hundred questions and they never got impatient or short with me. They also worked closely with my insurance adjuster so the whole process went very smoothly and with little to no stress. Took about a week and a half to two weeks to get my van back and it's as good as new. They didn't leave anything gross in or on my car, in fact I'm almost 100% sure they vacuumed it! I really appreciated that. I was very happy with our service and plan to use them in the future for any of our car care needs.

Our car is a 2018 Subaru Forester with a metallic cherry red paint and clear coat. We took the car to Rob at Knox Automotive and he told us that it would be 3-4 days to complete the repair and paint. The car was finished on time, and you can't tell where it was repaired or any sign of paint match. The car looked like it had just rolled out of the Subaru showroom! So my last oil change my wife treated me to it on my 2021 Toyota 4Runner TRD ORP, as I do all of my…read moreown maintenance and repairs on our vehicles. When I pulled up the young man came out and asked what we wanted done today. I said I just want my oil changed and after I asked what the cost was I approved the work to be done. I specifically handed him a drain plug washer and told him that Toyotas require this on the drain plug and he said yes I'm aware and I'll make sure the tech gets this. So fast forward and two days ago I changed my oil and when I removed the drain plug there was no gasket installed on my drain plug. They also didn't replace the gasket on the filter housing drain and in turn, most likely didn't replace the filter housing gasket. Well, thankfully, and by the grace of God, I didn't get any real leaking, this time, but the dealer removed the drain plug gasket and didn't replace it. So I'm sure it happens fairly often, but when I not only specifically informed the tech, but also handed him the gasket/washer and they STILL didn't replace it, but they removed the old gasket and then reinstalled the drain plug, that's even worse!! Straight ignorance to be completely honest! With that said, they were EXTREMELY fast, refilled the washer fluid, and vacuumed the front seat floorboards, but that doesn't make up for an almost catastrophic engine failure from losing oil while driving. Thankfully I check my oil religiously at every fill-up so that doesn't even remotely happen. Had they not completely ignored me and installed the drain plug gasket after telling me they would, I'd have given them all five stars. My recommendation is to avoid this place & use an actual shop that cares for their customers and do excellent work for not that much of an increase in the cost. Appreciate it!
