Neither of us know much about car maintenance, but we immediately pulled off to the side of the road on the intersection between Hwy 7 and Shady Oak Rd. Not five minutes into pulling over, a very generous woman who looked to be in her mid-twenties, wearing glasses, and was driving a dope blue car which I believe was a Toyota FJ60/62 (?) Either way, she dropped her dog off and told us if we were still there she would help us out. She came back just a few minutes later and picked us up and brought us to the O'Reilly just a few minutes away. We told her about this being the second time this has happened and she gave us great advice about our beater of a Ford Escape and how we should get a diagnostic test, check our oil dipstick a lot more frequently than we currently do, and to possibly check if our coolant had a leakage. Before she dropped us off, she told us how her father runs Expedition Autoworks and that it would be worth checking out. I've never once heard of this place as I don't live near the area, but the next time I need car maintenance I will absolutely check out Expedition Autoworks knowing the kindness that woman showed me and my boyfriend today. I wish I would've caught her name, but knowing that there's family of the person who helped us today, I will definitely make the drive and take my business to Expedition Autoworks.

He noticed that the tires I had selected and paid for online (using what was suggested by the discount tires website when I entered my license plate) were not the right size and found that the higher quality tires that did fit were $70 less per tire! I often feel reluctant about car related purchases because I know they will be expensive and I feel like people will often try to sales pitch you into buying something even more expensive, but that was not the case here which I really appreciated. He did present me with a few extra add ons like new windshield wipers (which I did get, $21/wiper for a VW) and a new spare tire because mine is probably 10+ years old (which I did not get). I was refunded the difference between the cheaper tires + the wipers and the original price I paid and my car was ready in 45 minutes! This location is across the street from a Wing Stop, Noodles, & a Jersey Mike's. There were plenty of seats to wait in but it was also convenient to run across the street and grab lunch while my tires were being changed. Sounded like appointments were the way to go, walk ins on a busy day could have to wait up to 90 min. Highly recommend this place!

Fed up with them, on a Friday my wife stopped in and the place was dark, she walked in and there he was in his robe telling her that he has to calibrate it and would be done by Monday. Well it wasn't, and for another couple of weeks we still couldn't get a-hold of them. We eventually got it back and nothing had been fixed. I called day of and Travis was super helpful and got me in right away. Typically, you would have to schedule but appreciate their flexibility. They were not pushy with the additional items they recommended fixing and was able to prepay for 5 future oil changes for around $200. What a great deal! When I got in my car, they had vacuumed the front seat and placed a thank you card by the steering wheel. The little things are what count in customer service and they did a great job and will definitely be referring people their way. They have a restroom, snacks and beverages along with a huge parking lot. I also heard they offer loaner cars if you need one.

I took my car in once to correct an issue from a previous mechanic. They fixed it, no problem. But when I took my car in again for a tune up, their service left much to be desired. At the moment of paying the technician told me he just changed the spark plugs. I asked about changing the oil and checking the fluids and he said he didn't do that. He looked at me like I was crazy to assume what those services are included in a tune up.
