I made an appointment online to get full new set of tires over my lunch break and had a great experience here. James (I am 90% sure I am remembering his name right) was super friendly and fast! He noticed that the tires I had selected and paid for online (using what was suggested by the discount tires website when I entered my license plate) were not the right size and found that the higher quality tires that did fit were $70 less per tire! I often feel reluctant about car related purchases because I know they will be expensive and I feel like people will often try to sales pitch you into buying something even more expensive, but that was not the case here which I really appreciated. He did present me with a few extra add ons like new windshield wipers (which I did get, $21/wiper for a VW) and a new spare tire because mine is probably 10+ years old (which I did not get). I was refunded the difference between the cheaper tires + the wipers and the original price I paid and my car was ready in 45 minutes! This location is across the street from a Wing Stop, Noodles, & a Jersey Mike's. There were plenty of seats to wait in but it was also convenient to run across the street and grab lunch while my tires were being changed. Sounded like appointments were the way to go, walk ins on a busy day could have to wait up to 90 min. Highly recommend this place! read more

They looked at the tire and said the front tires were bad so I said all 4 were put on at the same time. They gave me a price on all 4 , the book says it took 17" witch it was the price but there is 18" on the the truck, they gave me price on 17" but put 18" on for the same price and the tires are great . next time I need tires I will go back that's for sure. read more

This Discount Tires location has fantasric customer service, listens to the customer, and provides great priducts and seevice overall. I needed new tires on our single axle Airstream trailer. Airstreams are notoriously tricky to jack up without damage, and as a result, I watch everything they do so the experience doesn't end with thousands of dollars of damage. Man. They are just dumb in back which is not a good thing if you expect to drive your car safely. So this is what happens in the spring in fall. She has purchased from Discount a set of Blizzak winter tires on their own rims and she switches them out with her summer tires. This requires a separate set of lug nuts due to the rims which we keep in a baggy and are not touched until we make the switch again. So last spring, I drop the lady friend off so she can pick up her car as the cold winter months are gone. I do a quick walk around and one of the wheels is missing a lug nut. They fix it. Come fall, no issues. We drive through the winter and all is good. This spring, her car is missing a lug on each wheel. Again. Let me emphasize EACH WHEEL. How does that happen? I'm befuddled. Needless to say, she is frustrated. They try to pin the blame on her. They end up fixing it but really? Who gives customer their car saying all is good and you are missing lug nuts? It blows my mind. Maybe the tire prices are good are they that good for the poor workmanship? read more

This guys are awesome! I recently went today to discount tire to get an issue i had with my tire losing pressure from my valve stem. Immediately i got helped and i advised him what exactly what it was. They went to check right away on my valve and said something is wrong that they might over torqued it or TPMS got broken. Gave my keys and within 15mins they came back and said "thats it!" They reconstructed my TPMS and said it was free of charge. I was shocked and felt i needed to reimburse them somehow. They put the wrong name on my ticket and didn't ask for ID for anything just handed me they keys without any proof any person could have just said "that's me" and drove away. Discount tire was able to help assist me with some tire issues and even offered me competitive prices off tires & service. I think this is the location I went to. I went in solo & usually people try to sell me things I don't need or tell me there's a bunch of things wrong with my car/tires. They did not do that here, got me in and out pretty quickly, I sat and ate a snack I packed & it's probably the best service I've had. They have wifi and clean restrooms so I didn't mind waiting. I did go during a weekday during the day, so it was not as busy. I think my dad also may have taken his car to this location though and unfortunately had issues with the service with his car, as they damaged one of his rims. He called a few times to get things sorted out & finally after going in person they discounted his tires & made things right. Better service than some of their competing companies. read more

My Dad sold tires for 45 years. Here's his advice, 'don't buy the cheapest but the high end tire is a ripoff.' Follow his advice and you can't go wrong here. It can be busy so plan ahead a little. My daughter asked me to come along and help her resolve a slow leak tire issue that she was having. We were greeted by Andrew who listened to the issue and then gave us several reasonable options. While we were waiting for the service to be completed, I observed how respectfully he treated each customer. An older woman came up and asked where she needed to go to "tighten up" something (I didn't catch it all). Andrew started to direct her to the appropriate service stall but when she seemed confused, he said "Here, let me just take care of it for you". Went to order tires one week ahead, told them exactly how I wanted the tires mount onto the old and new rims. Figured all those would've been note down. A week later got the call and went to get them tires mounted , told the guy exactly what needs to be done on both rims again. Took off and came back hour and half later with the same tires on while the new tires was on the new rims. Ok, no big deal. Everyone make mistakes. It's about an hour left before they're closed. They Pulled vehicle back and redo everything, about half hours before closed. Another hour of waiting, zzz.. It was closer somewhere near 6:30-6:45 when it was done. Yay! Finally almost 3 hours! Drove off and as soon vehicle hit 30ish mph, heard this rubbing/scratching noise coming from the pass fron, got louder as speeds. WTF, great! Pulled over, couldn't tell. Can't turn back cause they're closed, drove home. Lifted truck immediately, took both front wheels off and WOW, just wow. The sticky weights was slapped across the middle of the rims instead of the edge like usual causing it rub on the calipers. You can clearly see the weights with a nice line across them. Decided not to drive to work for safety reason. After work, took vehicle to another discount location since the original one was farther out. Told them exactly what happened, and need all 8 tires to rebalance. Finally, an hour later picked vehicle, drove home and TA-DA, no more scratching/rubbing noise!!!! Damn, I still can't believe they was that much of hurry. Could've been worst! You spend something north of 1300 and this is the professional? LOL Time to shop elsewhere beside discount. I made an appointment to bring my car in for a tire repair because there was a nail in my tire. I ended up buying new windshield wipers while I was there. A week later my tire was flat again and when I filled it up I noticed the NAIL WAS STILL THERE?! I have been calling and leaving voicemails and have not received a call back. I have no idea what they were doing with my car for the hour they had it in the back, but they sure were not repairing the nail that I physically went and pointed out to them on my tire. I've heard this place to be crazy busy where lines have gone around the room and the wait was longer than an hour. So...I went prepared. Thankfully, there was only one other person before me when I arrived. It was during my lunch break to drop off my car. The gentleman who helped me was professional, helped me pick out my tires, told me exactly what to expect, let me go back to work in time, a couple hours later I received a text my car was ready, and all I had to do was check in the front desk for me keys to get back into my car in the parking lot. Discount Tire is the place to go with any tire concerns you have. They will fix flats for free (assuming it's fixable) and if you buy a set of tires there, they will repair or even replace it for free if something happens to one of them. They will also pay you for your tires if you are upgrading and your old ones have any life left. I went in to swap out my snows on the 2nd snow of the year so they were pretty swamped. They still got it done and I was astounded with the volume of jobs they were pumping out and the relatively short wait times they were quoting folks for. It was also $40 cheaper than where I used to go-- d'oh! You can make an appointment but they leave a lot of room for walk-ins, which I suspect are the bulk of their business.
