Although we didn't much care for the Cooper my wife saw a used BMW that caught her eye so we test drove that and she fell in love with the car. Adam was great to deal with -- very nice, no "high pressure" sales, very straight forward about the cars, prices, etc. (We had visited some other used car dealers and none of them seem to know car prices off the top of their heads -- they said things like "it depends if you finance blah blah blah). Adam made everything easy and after a little negotiation we made arrangements to return to pick up the BMW. I also mentioned to Adam that we were interested in trading in our current car on a used pick up truck. Even though Adam didn't have any pick ups in stock - and I'm guessing generally he deals in higher end used cars - he very nicely offered to see what he could find for us. After a few days of e-mails Adam found an excellent 2012 Toyota Tacoma with very little miles on it. Once we "signed off" on the truck he was able to have the truck transported to Westhampton. We picked it up last Saturday. My wife and I are both very happy with our "new" cars and very happy working with Adam. The whole process was so easy and enjoyable I wish I needed more cars! haha. We will definitely return to Beach Auto when its time to car shop again in a few years and I will recommend Adam to anyone I know of who is looking for a great used car.

Anyhow, was very specific about it. The person on the phone was kind enough to go check and confirm having 6 quarts. I hop in a vehicle and head from Southampton to Hampton Bays at 9AM on a monday knowning the trade parade will be there for the return yet fine with it since they had the oil. I get there and some clown who says "I spoke to you" goes in the back to get the oil. After 2 minutes the clown returns with 15W-50 and says this is all we have. Next the trade parade and a wasted hour. What morons.

Their other stores are much more helpful and accommodating. They had no suggestions as to where I could go to have my battery tested so they really weren't very helpful. I've been here before just to buy things and that was fine.

They didn't have it but looked it up and ordered it for me. This was on a Wednesday night. By Thursday morning the fluid was there and I picked it up. That was great but it's not the best part of the story. I'm a woman and I'm not always comfortable trying to shop in an auto parts store. The staff at Advanced Auto are always friendly and extremely helpful. They are never impatient ,even when I'm not sure just exactly what I need. I wouldn't think of going any place else. So I returned to the store, with the correct bulb taken from my car. They were very nice and allowed me to exchange the opened incorrect bulbs for the correct bulbs, which were fortunately on sale. Idk how they sold me the wrong bulbs, since I provided the make and model, but all's well that ends well. It did turn out that a DIFFERENT bulb was out. The ones that I replaced worked. Sigh. I don't remember who decided which bulb was out.
