The entire team at SVH is super friendly, helpful, patient, professional and knowledgeable. We took our 1 year old Blue Heeler, Raider Jr, to get his annual physical and vaccinations last week. He is not a fan of the vet and was very timid. Dr Campbell and her assistant worked with him to settle him down and give him the exam. They were extremely patient and gentle with him. He relaxed and all was good! Many thanks to both! Throughout the years, we have always received fantastic service from SVH and we would highly recommend them. On the advice of a friend who is a vet in another state, I got a second opinion from Dr. Carroll. It turns out that the test done at Silverado was inaccurate and his platelets were fine. So thankful I sought a second opinion here and have since moved all vet care over to them for my very much still-alive dogs. Dr. Carroll is a wonderful and thorough vet who truly cares and goes out of his way to communicate well with you through any health challenges you may navigate.

I dont know about his other establishments napa west, but I imagine they are the same. Very poor business practices. I'd stay away from these places. Sneaking in fees and up sale. The rules are simple you visit the shelter, you see a dog or cat that you interested in, you put in an application only for that particular animal. You have a meet and greet with put a deposit down. They will contact you once you are approved. Our dog is already chipped and neutered and they sent us away with a little food and a free veterinarian exam. So we have an appointment to establish a local veterinarian. The place is well run, the staff is nice, and the animals are well cared for. I would recommend checking them out. They have stat sheets on all the animals.

My frustration was not with the price itself, but with the fact that I made my decision based on the information provided by the clinic. What disappointed me most was how the situation was handled. When I tried to explain that I had relied on the information given by their staff, I felt my concerns were dismissed rather than addressed. The owner ultimately ended the discussion without offering any solution. The medical staff were professional, and I did receive the documents I needed. Two girls sitting at the front desk with not one person in the waiting room. So they ignored my phone calls number one. . Then I explained that Gigi might've pulled a nail out out of socket. There was blood everywhere and they basically told me that they couldn't see me because they close in four minutes and that the doctor was seeing his last patient and they don't take anybody after 6 o'clock and I got there at 5:55. We took our dog in for an eye issue and they addressed it quickly and properly with a prescription that took care of the issue. The charges were reasonable. I did have to wait for quite some time before being able to check out. I think the tech had gotten busy with another client and forgot I was waiting for the Rx and to pay. Overall an expected experience.
