My salesmen lied to me and said a truck would be available. When I arrived, I was told I could not see it or drive it.

TLDR: Do not give this place business. They will lie and manipulate you into looking at the cars they want to sell, not the cars you want to buy! I have visited this dealership twice and dealt with the same salesman. The first trip was an easy process that made me feel like I wanted to return and give my business. But the second trip made me feel like I was in a completely different place. I inquired about a truck and was told it would be ready to see and test drive. I even contacted the salesman on the morning off to ensure everything was all good, which the salesman told me was. When I arrived, it wasn't ten seconds before I was baited and switched to look at two other trucks that were: one, not the truck I came to see and wanted to see, and two these trucks were going to be $10,000 more out the door than the one I came for. When I asked to see the truck, I came for, I was lied to up and down the block about how it was in service and was at the detailer bay at the moment. If the truck wasn't ready or was never there, to begin with, I would like to know that before I drive an hour to your location to be lied to. I don't know if this is a management problem where they tell salesmen to push certain vehicles or what, but this was the worst experience I have ever had at a dealership. I hope no one gives this place any business!

Metal in oil

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. If you are in the market for a Jeep or Dodge do not buy from Napleton Dodge in the Orlando area. I recently bought a Jeep from that car dealership and have had nothing but problems with them. I changed the oil in my Jeep that I had just bought and discovered a lot of metal in the oil. I took it to the dealership (pre owned warranty) showed them the metal and took sample metal bits. They kept the Jeep for 2 weeks before even looking at it. They took the oil pan off and put it back on then charged me $600 and told me that it is normal and to keep driving it. This is only 1 of the multiple problems I've had with this Jeep after only having it for 3000 miles. The dealership refuses to help or help me file a warranty claim

My goal was to purchase a vehicle for my business. Nick understood the assignment! He called me and we got the ball rolling. I had the exact vehicle picked out and approved before arriving to the dealership. Nick was welcoming and very down to earth. He wasn't pushy and he told me what he needed from me. I'm telling you, the entire process was painless. The finance manager Jayce, my fellow Texan was also a pleasure to work with. He didn't try to oversell or upsell. He explained all my options, gave his advice and allowed me to make a decision. I was in and out in no time. I can't speak to the negative reviews but my experience was absolutely amazing! I will be purchasing other vehicles in a few months! Keep up the great work guys!!!

Deceiving and unethical business practices and false advertising. They will not sell cars at advertised price. Typical shady used car dealer tactics of bait-n-switch. I felt like I was talking to an electronics store sales person in Times Square. They had a vehicle advertised for $18,988 minus a TrueCar Dealer Discount of $325 making the car $18,663 + Dealer Fee + taxes, title and tag. When I was ready to pay, the sales guy "Steve Stoner" told me that the total out the door was $23,250. I was like, wow, that adds up really quick, can you give me a breakdown? The price included nearly $2000 of protection plans, tire plan, ding and dent plan, warranties, maintenance plans, and misc. fees apparently not covered by the $899 dealer prep fee. I told him that I did not want any of these extras and he told me that they are part of the car and cannot be removed. I asked to speak to the manager "Chad" whom never called me. I asked to speak to the GM and he was "busy" but I was welcome to come down another day and speak to him in person. I am actually pretty shocked since I thought that those types of shady business dealings were a thing of past, not at Napleton Clermont! When they answered the phone they were proud to tell me they have been in business for 100 years. I feel sorry for the thousands of unsuspecting consumers who got ripped off from this (mob)"family" business. This dealership exemplifies old dealership experiences and answers the old-age question: Why are car dealers the least respected and trusted profession. Dealers like Napleton is the reason why people are flocking to no-nonsense hassle-free car vendors like Carvana and Carmax. Good riddance and I hope TrueCar pulls you off it's site after my complaint to them. Next up is the BBB.

Horrible dealership/service department. Go in there at your own risk. I almost lost the engine due to their incompetence.

I have done business with this company before and they have never let me down. When I got here, my parts were ready. I was hoping for a copy on the Hanyes manual but they were out of stock... okay. I still can do this, that's why we got Internet! So Bob was my man, he say me coming and had my pile ready. Even said I would need brake cleaner, and he wasn't up-selling me... that gross stuff came in handy! He showed me in the book some of the key things to watch for and the headache you got to deal with 4times... he wasn't kidding, I'm surprised I didn't loose an eye during that fiasco! (My car was definitely made in China by an octopus with little hands!) Bob was great.... he's your man even though he's normally the delivery driver. I gave him a run when I asked for my BF commercial account discount... out of state of course! He did it and was a good chap about it. (I would have drop kicked the computer and the customer if I had to go through that!) Ample parking... I noticed some things they will do for you on site... like batteries and computer error scanning... Great place... a must for a DIYer or "I'll buy the parts so I don't get over charged" type....

The manufacturer tried an over the air software update and it did not work and the digital display locked up. My video monitor that has radio, map and other things. Because the software did not update it locked my screen and was not usable. I called Blue-link, service for Hyundai, and they ran diagnostics and said they would have to have the engineers look into it the over the air software update and it may take up to 7 days. I waited about 4 days and brought it into the dealership. I brought my vehicle in on a Friday,. I waited about 3 hours and I asked the service rep how much longer it Would be. They said there were issues with the software and they would give me a complimentary vehicle to use until the next day. Saturday I was called and told I could keep the car until Monday. On Monday I was told I could keep the car until Tuesday they were having issues with the software. On Tuesday I was informed they needed to replace the entire head system for the Digital display and I could keep the car until Thursday. When I called late day Thursday they informed me they received the part and I could keep the car until Friday. On Friday I was told I could keep the car until the next Monday. So up to this point I was being kept in the loop on progress at least. On Monday I had to leave a message and was told I would get a call shortly. On Tuesday I left another message and was told I would get a call shortly. I called Wednesday and was sent a text stating I should receive a call, gave a name, and he would call shortly. Thursday went by and I waited until Friday around 11 am and drove to the dealership to see what was going on with my vehicle. I talked with A manager and explained what was going on with the vehicle and my frustration of having the dealership going radio silent from LAST FRIDAY. 8 days. The manager went to service and the rep in charge of the my vehicle came out and explained that the head set for the digital display was installed but the AC no longer was working, told me I could keep the comp until they replaced the electronics from a new vehicle into mine. I received a text later in the afternoon saying my car was ready for pick up. Being late I responded I would pick up my vehicle Saturday morning. Thought out this my only MAJOR ISSUE was the last week of no information being given to me. When I returned their vehicle they made me pay 2.34 for using their e-pass, I was told this was part of the comp but I was told the girl told me wrong. No worries only 2 bucks but aggravating. Then I was told I had gone over mileage and owed 10 cent a mile for each mile over. I immediately said I wanted to talk with a manager, remember the initial paperwork was done for a one day use and never updated. After 10 min or so they came back and said it was all taken care of and thank you. Mostly just aggravated at the issue of not being there to inform me of status.
