This dealership (in my experience and my opinion) is full of all the standard tricks and tactics. Let's just say, when they gave me the out-the-door price, the final number was more than 10k over the MSRP. The trade-in values and new vehicle pricing on the website were not close to being honored. I have excellent credit and a like-new trade in. The online numbers are only to get you in the door. They continued to pressure me with tactics that would lead me into a much higher debt/ monthly payment so they can meet their sales quota. These large "upscale" showroom dealerships do not have your best interest and will mislead you at every opportunity. Be careful, folks. I am writing to express my concerns regarding my recent experience at your dealership on July 8, 2026, for basic maintenance on my new car, which included an oil and filter change. During my visit, I also reported that the passenger side turn signal was not functioning. After a couple of hours without any updates, I spoke with a friendly staff member named Cotto, who informed me that my service advisor, Chance, was on lunch. Cotto was very helpful and took immediate action to address my concerns. He notified me that a new light was required and that we could tow the car, assuring me that I would receive a follow-up communication. On July 20, I received a call stating that the replacement part was in, and we scheduled an appointment for that day at 10 AM. However, two hours into my wait, I had still not received any updates regarding the service. I called over a week ago to ask if my service package (I pay every month with my car payment) is accepted there. I assumed since I have a Kia that I bought from a Kia dealership, this shouldn't be an issue. The lady who answered the phone was really nice and told me she believes it would since people move and that would make sense... but to be sure, she'd have someone call me to verify. Her customer service is why I gave the 2 stars in the first place--otherwise it would've been less. No one called me, I called back and nothing. I set up an oil change appointment and wrote in the comments box that I have this package and would like to make sure I wasn't paying extra. I was super descriptive to avoid confusion. My husband showed up with my car and they had no idea about the message I left with the appointment I set (which is insane because the comment box should be there for a reason). Isaac talked me into two warranties but worded it as such that it was one. I later found out that many of the features bundled in these warranties were already included with my car. (My fault) Luckily, they're still refundable. However, Isaac and the finance department seemingly have no interest in honoring the terms of the refund. What was originally quoted as 8 weeks has turned into almost 4 months of missing over $6,000. Advice: If you buy a car here, hold firm to the price you'd like to walk out the door with. Ignore Isaac's tactics to purchase the additional warranties. Walk out the door with the agreed upon price, and that's it. read more

When I refinanced the loan in fall 2025, I received my payoff letter and contacted Kia of Clermont to obtain the paperwork needed to receive the balance due back to me for the GAP insurance I had purchased on the original loan. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I left a message asking for someone to call me back. No one returned my call. Over the next several weeks, I called multiple times and left multiple messages--still no response[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I live an hour away from the dealership, otherwise I would have simply gone in person rather than making constant unanswered phone calls. [[HIGHLIGHT]]On December 31, 2025, after weeks of being ignored, I called again and expressed my frustration to the receptionist, Lisa August. I asked to speak to the manager and was told he was "in a meeting."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]She took my email address and emailed Isaac Landrua on the same day, copying me on the message and asking him to contact me about my GAP refund. I received no communication from Isaac.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]On January 7, I emailed Lisa again stating that no one had contacted me. She emailed Isaac a second time (again copying me). And again--no response.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Yes, I checked spam/junk folders. [[HIGHLIGHT]]By January 13, after nearly two months of trying, I called again and insisted on speaking with a manager. Instead, I was transferred to someone in finance named John Smith. He gave me his cell phone number and email and asked me to send him the payoff letter, which I emailed to him within 10 minutes. He replied quickly saying, "I will work on this shortly for you."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]That was the last efficient communication I received.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I emailed him again on January 20 asking for an update, how much the refund would be, and how long it would take. No response.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]On March 23, I called him again--no answer. I then texted him explaining that I still had not received any update or refund. He responded saying he had seen my call but was on the phone. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING service from start to finish! Our daughter is at the driving age and we had to start the search for a car. Her dream first car was the Kia K5 which is very hard to find! I wanted to get her a new car as I just don't get the warm and fuzzies over a used with not knowing why said person would've traded it in. At least with new it comes with a warranty and has all the safety features! We wanted this to be a surprise to her. So she thought we were going here to test drive another car in our search. The dealership was more than accommodating in making this happen! They had her car parked under the awning with a pink bow and congratulations sign the whole time me and her were out on the lot looking at cars. Terrible sales experience!!! Run from this place, they literally lie and make up numbers on the fly. Then when you see the actual numbers they hide huge dealer profits in the "fees" that are not transparent. They will talk about their Lifetime Warranty that is included, do not fall for it, it's a ridiculously overpriced line item you don't see until the end. WARNING ABOUT KIA OF CLERMONT My son came in for a routine 30,000-mile service, expecting basic maintenance like an oil change and tire rotation. Instead, Kia of Clermont charged him $1,421.25. Read that again: almost $1,500 for an oil change! The service advisor was Marshall Rhodes. The invoice was packed with expensive add-ons and highly questionable upsells, like 3-part induction service, shop fees and over $760 in labor alone! This wasn't repair work, just a routine oil change. This was a young customer being taken advantage of with unnecessary or massively inflated service charges. [[HIGHLIGHT]]What makes it worse is that he BOUGHT the car from Kia of Clermont. Apparently customer loyalty means nothing once they get you into the service department.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parents: do NOT send your kids here alone unless they fully understand automotive maintenance and pricing. Bought a 2024 Kia Forte GT. The salesman said I could use 87 gas and not lose performance. He was wrong. Now I'm in a car that needs premium gas and can't afford it. They gave me a terrible deal on my trade in but I liked the car so much I delt with it. *rare 6 speed manual* after I drove the car off the lot it was literally hopping down the freeway I demanded my car back and they wouldn't give it to me the manager said let me fix it . Took a couple hours and in his defense he gave me four new tires and balanced it. Scheduled a check engine appt for Sunday early morning. Drove 30 mins to get there. Technician said they weren't even gong to get to it today since its their light day. We bought a new 2023 Sportage for my oldest son several years ago and should've learned my lesson then. We nearly walked out of the dealership because they told us one thing and then tried to present numbers that were way different (worse) than what was originally told to us. As it turned out, after speaking with the sales manager, we ended up working out an agreement. However, at the end of a very long night at the dealership, the finance manager ended up giving us a different rate than what they said they were giving us and we gave in after being there for nearly 6 hours. Fast forward to this week. Our youngest son needed a car. We went shopping in Clermont again since most of the dealerships are all in one place. We went to several dealerships but the Kia dealer was closed. Before we went home for the night on Sunday, we were at another dealership when I pulled up the Kia of Clermont website. I was looking at their end of the year deals and we saw (77) 2025 Tellurides listed. I then filtered the selection to the S-trim and found 12 of them. They all had fantastic prices listed, including promotional discounts and rebates. I told my wife about them and we decided to come back to Clermont on Monday to see if we could work this out. We also had another vehicle already negotiated, but this price was too good to pass up. [[HIGHLIGHT]]In the morning, I called the Sales department and asked them specifically about the internet price and to tell me if there were going to be any surprises. I brought up the fact that we were existing customers of this dealership and were hoping this would carry some weight. I spoke to two different salespeople and they both assured me that there would be no surprises[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. So, we went to the dealership after work and met with one of the people we spoke to John. I reminded him of our conversation and then we went and looked at the Tellurides, and test drove one. Then, when it came time to show us the numbers, they were not even close. At least $5K higher than what I saw on the internet. I pulled up the listing and put my phone next to the sheet and nothing matched, not even the MSRP. I was furious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]John could not fully explain the difference and then proceeded to tell me there was fine print. I said that is dishonest in every way[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I said I gave you the opportunity to tell me if there was going to be any catches or gotchas and he told me we're good to go. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I then asked to talk to the sales manager. His name was also John (finance manager - on his name tag). He then proceeded to try to explain to me that they pay lots of high-priced lawyers that say we're allowed to advertise this way. Like that was an acceptable explanation[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I said, but I've given you all plenty of opportunities to tell me UPFRONT before we even test drove a car. And you all took the charlatan approach to this. You are all frauds. I even tried one last time to see if we could meet somewhere in the middle and come up with a number that worked for all of us. But then he said, nope that's it. He specifically told me "HIS" manager told him there was no money in the vehicle to trim the price. This means the prices they advertised online were not in good faith and were not ever available in the first place. I am going to file a complaint with the FL Department of Professional Regulation for deceptive sales practices. If you read this and still think it's OK to do business with these crooks, then you deserve what you get. read more

Interesting how my experience was so different from others. My guess is that part of it is I was ready for the dealership experience. I knew what vehicle I wanted, what price I was looking for, and got a finance preapproval, I found the vehicle I wanted online and when I reached out it ended up being sold that day. The rep, Connor, found another incoming and provided me with an OTD price in writing, which met my needs and did not include a bunch of addons. I ended up waiting for 2 weeks for the car to get shipped in, but they kept me updated throughout the entire time so I could work on getting a cashiers check ready. Once the car was delivered, they did the PDI and when we got there they started all the paperwork from a finance and tag perspective. Of course they tried to pitch the extended warranty, but we politely declined and continued to sign off on everything. On a side note, this was for the daughter and was a surprise. They accommodated me and even put a pink bow on the car to surprise her. I think many people just need to temper their expectations when it comes to purchasing a vehicle and walk away if the deal isn't what they are looking for., There will always be another opportunity to get something you want. I visited the Kia dealership last Sunday to purchase a car, but was disappointed by the experience. Upon arrival, I was asked if I had an appointment. When I said no, the representative told me no one was available to assist me and couldn't provide a timeframe for when someone would be free. I was invited to browse the cars outside, but after 20 minutes of waiting, no one approached me. I'm shocked that a dealership would require appointments and not have staff available to assist walk-in customers. The lack of professionalism and poor customer service was staggering. I had won two gift cards from the dealership over the summer. So I came today to put them towards an oil change. The service advisor Oscar was friendly and helpful. They took my car in at the scheduled time and said it would take ninety minutes, which it did. Once the service was completed, I received a text with a video of the technician explaining what he did to my vehicle, including topping off fluids and a brief inspection of the vehicle. Then the technician ran it through a car wash and vacuumed the front interior. All I can say is wow! Incredible job and I could not be happier. I made a recent used car purchase from another dealer and did not have a good experience. I will be returning to Kia Clermont for sure. read more

Scammed by Kia of Clermont. On March 1st around 9am my wife and I arrived at KIA of Clermont to look and possibly buy a Kia Telluride SX Prestige X-Line (referred to as car). Mike was assigned to me as the sales person [[HIGHLIGHT]]After hours of haggling with him and some of his bosses we made a deal for the car purchase.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] While we were waiting for my credit to unfreeze, Mike sat me down in the car and sold me a theft package that he said the sales people were allowed to sell this for a little extra money. He then took out an ultraviolet flashlight and shined it on the headliner and showed me where he said the theft ID should be. We saw nothing on the headliner. Mike said they must have put the ID somewhere else. I then asked Mike to make sure it was installed before I left. Mike said no problem. [[HIGHLIGHT]]For the next three months 5 or 6 different times I asked Mike where is the theft id. I never received an answer from Mike.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] On May 30th, I texted him "Please call me". NO REPLY from Mike. [[HIGHLIGHT]]On June 3rd I texted "Could you please find where they placed then etching/ultraviolet theft deterrent on my Telluride. Please text info." Again, NO REPLY from Mike.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] On June 5th I texted "I will be there Saturday morning for someone to show me where the anti- theft/ultraviolet etching was done." On Jun 5th Mike texted back "OK you can speak to the manager." On June 5th I texted back "It amazes me that NO one knows where its installed." On June 7th, around 9am, my wife and I arrived at KIA of Clermont. We were sent to John the finance manager. We told John the problem that Mike avoided answering me for over 3 months of where the theft ID was installed. We also told him how disappointed we were with Mike. John informed us he was one of the best salesmen. (GOD Help them). John came out to the car with us. I took out my ultra violet flashlight and asked where it was installed. John then informed us that the theft ID was not installed and Ultra Violet was not even used by the dealership. John also stated nothing had to be done and the warranty would still be valid even if they didn't install the theft ID. However, the theft contract clearly states "THE AUTHORIZED DEALER/DEALERSHIP MUST INSTALL THE ANTI-THEFT PROTECTION THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM FOR YOU TO RECEIVE THE BENEFIT OF THE AGREEMENT." John then offered have someone install it immediately. My response was that I wanted my money back. John said no it was part of the sale. I informed John that since it wasn't installed at delivery and now its 4 months later, I want my money back and John agreed. It's now 6 months later no refund. Kia of Clermont is owned by the Morgan Auto Group. [[HIGHLIGHT]]On August 18th, we sent two certified return receipt letters, one to the president Larry Morgan and one to the CEO Brett Morgan of Morgan Auto Group. The letters were received and signed for on Aug 22nd. It is now 3 weeks later and I have still not received a response.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Obviously, they couldn't care less that their Clermont KIA dealer is scamming me. I wonder how many other customers of KIA of Clermont has not installed the ID protection and has scammed. In the 60 years that I have bought cars I have never had an out and out scam done to me except by KIA of Clermont. If you have been scammed by Kia of Clermont or any other Morgan Auto Group owned dealership, please comment back and I will be in touch with you to see how we can take care of Kia of Clermont/Morgan Auto Group. Worst service dept ever. Rant- Horrible experience at Kia of Clermont today. We will never go there again for service and I would advise you to always price check service costs first. Duh right. Just saying... Service advisors pulled a fast one on my wife (yes she's an adult and responsible and only fault is too trusting) with a 15k service and was 2.5X the cost of Greenway Kia. Always be on the lookout for insane charges at any dealership especially Clermont Kia. They were zero help when I questioned them and as you know, once a service contract is signed you are SOL. We had an electrical problem with our KIA EV6 last week. We brought it to the dealership this week (under warranty).. It is the 3rd issue we have had with the ICCU (the others were covered under recall). Wednesday, they said that they needed to replace the 12v battery and let it charge overnight. Thursday they said it just needed four hours to charge and would be good. I was in the area five hours later and stopped by to see (since it is absolutely impossible to get a service advisor on the phone, ever). They told me that the technician had left for the day (1Pm) and that they had no further information on it. They finally called this morning at 11:45 am to tell us that they needed to replace the part and that it would take weeks or month to get the part. They said that KIA would cover a rental car but if we couldn't make it today. My wife had to work at 2 pm and I asked him to call me back in two minutes so I could see if she could go and get the rental car. They called back an hour and a half later and now my plans for the afternoon were completely ruined. I tried calling to talk to a manager but simply got voicemails. The communication is horrible. We bought two cars from this dealership. They failed to inform us that one car only came with one key, and that the other car had to have a license plate screw drilled. I read more

Most unorganized money grabbers ever. They under pay u if they even get u your money. Me and another employee dealt wit the same thing an he was only paid 900 for a month. This is my side: I was a window tinter there. Paid flat rate of 13.75. That's minimum wage for something that takes actual skill to do correctly. Then try to make u feel better telling u $20 for two windows an 60 a full car, but that doesn't get added till u meet a threshold to where your hours worked meet the quoted commission total. So until u meet a weeks pay in hours worth of cars done, then you get extra. They pay a Photo Booth picture taker a detailers more than someone like me whose job is considered an actual trade. They are contracted with dealer general, who didn't pay me for a month of working, lied about a check being sent in the mail for a 2 an a half weeks maybe longer I lost track because I never received it. First time coming here. They did not tell me that they cancelled my appointment. I got up early and drove 45 minutes on a toll road for a recall appointment. When I got there they said they could not take my car because Kia put a hold on the recall fix. The service manager Edward said they do not have an arrangement to call customers to cancel appointments. Well. They should especially when the onus is on them. What a waste of my time, gas, toll cuts etc. And I'm recovering from knee replacement surgery six weeks ago so this is not an easy car drive to make. So as a result I'm not coming back for anything, not even to trade up. Really bad first impression. Now I'm going to drive another 22 miles back home. read more

Terrible experience. I see that they have two stars, so no wonder. I should've checked Yelp. I was lied to by the salesperson, manager, and finance guy. Additionally, rate was higher that it should have been with a 761 credit score. No worries...I'll refinance with my credit union. One star across the board when I get the survey from Kia. Weather is good, so maybe spend the weekend in an umbrella chair with a sign on the street outside of the dealership to warn potential customers of their tactics. read more

In my lifetime I've purchased about 10 to 12 new cars/leases. Some of those dealership experiences were pleasant, some were not. However, my experience at Kia of Clermont was the worst car dealership experience I've ever had. The salesman was horrible. Once the deal was signed and the down payment check was handed over to them, everything went downhill. The salesman got the car cleaned for delivery and then was so rushed to get out the door he really didn't have time to explain anything to us and he left. The car was not cleaned correctly, there was plastic and trash hidden in pockets thru-out the car. I wish I could say that that was the end of the issues, but that was only the start. We did a trade-in, without getting into the details, they said they would have to hold back $1800 for 2 to 3 weeks and then would cut us a check. I had to fight for three months for that check. I talked to six different people at the dealership in the sales department, including the lying Sales Managers, and they all lied to me over and over. They wouldn't return calls and they made promises constantly and never delivered. I made more phone calls that I could ever remember. I emailed and called the Morgan group several times, owners of Claremont Kia, and never received a single response. Finally out of desperation, I found an email to someone within Kia. I think he was a vice president, and he was appalled at what I went through and cut me a check the next day. The emotional toll of that three months was horrible. At the purchase I was told by the salesman that the first two services were free. I sent my wife in with the car this week for the first service, and my wife called me saying it would cost $120. I talked to the Service Manager and he said I only have an oil change, free of charge. Tire rotation and some additives were going to cost me another $120. He said these things were required per the manual. I was at work and too busy to figure this out, so my wife paid it. I called another Kia Dealership when I got out of work and asked them what it would cost for my car, for an oil change 1st Service, and tire rotation, and they said $115. Everyone I had contact with at this dealership showed no integrity or honesty. I will forgo my next "so-called" free oil change and go somewhere else. Please do not go to this dealership. After the test drives, we sat down and waited for a long time. When he finally returned, he presented me with two offers that were $5000 and $6000 OVER MSRP before tax title and license. I began questioning him about the numbers, and quickly caught him in multiple obvious lies. Extremely rude service department. Why does it take two hours for a simple oil change? They over book the service department. I feel like I don't get the service I deserve here for being a lifetime kia customer. Also watch out on your email address you use. They will change your email address to someone who works at the dealership so they can fill out the survey so they get a perfect score. Crazy and deceiving. I went to the dealership yesterday searching for an EV. Alex Cortes was extremely nice and to the point. When I arrived we were taken right outside to see all the different models. Contrary to other reviews, prices here were negotiable, which may be because the car market is changing (thankfully). I have boughten nice cars, never a Kia, and I now own one. The technology is unmatched in my EV 6. In terms of the dealership, yes, it took negotiation, but I in no way felt scammed. A female staff member gave me a bag with a keychain, pens, and a metal water bottle after purchasing. The service was unmatched. Liars, Cheaters, worst experience. I have been waiting for a refund for 8 weeks. I was told that if I finance, which I did NOT want to do, I'd get additional discounts. I come to find out from KIA finance there is no such program. I paid off the vehicle immediately and I am still trying to get the interest I had to pay refunded. They told me to wait until I got the refund for the extended warranty I did not want and was included in my payments to the tune of 4K and they would give me a lump sum. Not yet!! This is the 3rd bad KIA experience I have had, and no one wants to help me with it. I see a lawsuit coming. These guys are liars and will tell you anything to sell you. Once you buy, it's bye, bye to you. I have not yet had to go for service but as I read the reviews, that's not good either. No one like to buy a car, but that place is the worst I have ever had to deal with. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM..
