We gave you lots of chances to fix the many problems we already paid for, instead you gaslit me and pretended you couldn't see the lack of drywall mud or crooked walls, or skylights you ordered in too large a size with crooked wells. You pretended all that was normal. You proceeded to have the workers put up crown so you could charge, nevermind the problems with the walls. No contractor puts up crown mounding before finishing ceiling drywall! Stop lying about your work or I will post the truth: You have a long list of felony and criminal convictions. Shall I go into details with these facts? Is this why you sent erratic and angry emails at all hours of the night? Your demands for immediate payments and accusations of conspiracy are unprofessional and purely lies. The photos of my home show your awful work. Shall I post updated photos of your drywall several months later with even more visible seams and cracks? Your unsupervised workers created crooked wobbly walls in our den and bathroom. I understand you don't believe me because you weren't there to see or check their work. But every contractor and sub that has looked to help us has said the same thing, shoddy poor work. Both these rooms were taken down to the studs. Your men rebuilt the walls crooked, even the corners. How can you say you would have fixed that if we didn't fire you?? You said they looked good to you! Fix the drywall with what, a little spackle again or mud here and there, like the spackle smears your man did to hide the the damaged doors?? Then apply a little paint over the tape again? The drywall seams are pulling and curling, even worse now than when I took these pictures months ago. It needs to be redone. Stop pretending you know how to do the work. Our drywall is NOT level 4, which is what we paid for. You pretended the drywall was done. Pay me now you demanded. You pretended your workers applied 2 coats of paint. Pay me now you demanded. But everyone that sees our house is shocked that you claim it has level 4 drywall or adequate paint. The truth is you ran out of money and couldn't do the work properly. Every area your workers entered was damaged. I have the photos and video to prove it. Demanding payment immediately, so we paid but there are NOT 2 coats of paint. You damaged our wood floors by demoing without protecting them, then blamed us for the damage. Shall I post the proof of this?? You accused us of mopping and damaging a floor. You damaged one of a kind solid wood doors with tools, smearing SPACKLE to hide the dings your "unequipped" worker made (your adjective not mine). You let the "unequipped" one paint the ceiling without any hallway wall protection letting paint go down the walls. You damaged the downstairs hallway, millwork, and then blamed us for it. Your workers smeared paint down the walls and over doors. Next time show up and supervise your workers. Do not come to a homeowners house at 7am demanding an unannounced walk thru and yelling at them in front of their small children like you did to us because we have to go to work. And stop writing threatening emails, texts demands for payments at 4am. I suggest you take responsibility for the harm you have caused our family by damaging our property. If you do not remove the lies in your response to my review, I will consider further appropriate legal action.

Have always found his work to be excellent, thorough and completed in a timely manner. If the proposed project is not something he does personally, like plumbing, he has competent and licensed people he hires. He gets the required permits for projects and is upfront about where there may be issues that are not readily apparent. He is friendly and willing to discuss projects to find the best way, and sometimes cost saving ways, to do the work.

In many places, these spanned cabinet joints and left the cabinets without proper support. We also had a cabinet door damaged during the process - a broken hinge for which no replacement parts were available still. We had other cabinet doors knocked out of alignment. Trying to find a firm to fix these, replace the kickplates/trim, etc. that were left by the restoration company was difficult. It was a relatively small job. Ervin was one of only 2 companies that responded and was willing to take on our small job. Not only did Top Refinish respond immediately, they sent out an estimator promptly.
