The entire process from start to finish was just painless. From the selection of the material that we were using, to the templating process, all the way down to the installation - it was absolutely perfect. I had a terrible experience with them, they were very unprofessional and would'nt listen to reason. Let me explain. Napoli is the fabricator for the Home Depot in Levittown. After multiple HD visits , measurements and paying in full, which was time consuming enough ,the job was sent to Napoli on Merrick Rd. in Seaford which is -10 miles from my home. I then receive a phone call that they need an extra $1000 for delivery because I live off Ocean Parkway and they say they have to drive around some long route which I have no idea what they were talking about. Also they wanted me to take a picture of the front of my house evidently if they had to go up stairs they were going to charge me even more. I live 10 miles from their store and regardless of the 3 routes they chose it would be less than 25 miles if they took the longest route. The only way to get to any of the 100 houses on Ocean Pky is to go down a parkway. How do they think we get deliveries, by seaplane? We have 3 new homes being built in our community , with cement / lumber tractor trailers coming and going. It is for that reason the Department of Transportation carves out an exception for commercial deliveries south of Merrick/Montauk Hwy i.e. commercial vehicles can travel south of Merrick/Montauk Hwy on those parkways for "Local Deliveries" that is as long as the height of the truck , assuming they would go right down Wantagh parkway to Ocean Pky. is not over 11'6". I even confirmed it with a state trooper at Jones Beach. I tried to explain all that, they did not even entertain to maybe lob a call into the DOT to confirm or just pull it up online. Obviously they just did not want the job unless they could pad their profit by an eye boggling $1000 , not to mention the up the stairs charge (maybe) my small job was only $4500. Realizing Napoli would not listen to reason I went right to Farmingdale HD who uses Penn Fabricators in Medford . We called Penn from that HD and they had no problem whatsoever delivering to my address even mentioned they had been their a few other times. I followed that up with a letter to the HD divisional manager of Levittown expressing how I felt that Napoli management acted in an unethical and unprofessional manner and that they should have an alternative to Napoli. There are a couple other reviews mentioning up-charging. Beware! read more

DO NOT USE THEM! My wife and I used Napoli Marble & Granite when we did a complete remodel of our kitchen. We used them because our contractor said they were the best. Our contractor raved about them, so when they made us wait for 30 minutes after scheduling an appointment, we just thought that this was the price of doing business with them. My wife and I left for our honeymoon and everyone assured us that the project would be complete as the last step of the process was to install the quartz countertops followed by the subway tile backsplash. When we returned from our honeymoon the countertops were installed, but there was a massive seam right down the side of countertop. It was clear that they had measured incorrectly and never told us that they wouldn't be able to find a piece of quartz large enough for our peninsula. Their solution was to glue an extra piece to the side to meet the size needed. We immediately complained and Sean came by the house and assured us that they could fix the seam by buffing it out to make it look more like one seamless piece. The result was even worse than before. After enough complaining, they eventually cut a new piece and the countertops were reinstalled. The final step was the installation of the backsplash. You'll imagine our shock when we returned home from work one night to find that the entirely wrong backsplash had been installed. Napoli placed the wrong order and then gave it to our contractor to install. More complaints resulted in Napoli telling our contractor that this was the backsplash we had picked. THANK GOD my wife took pictures of what we chose because that was the proof of what we had actually picked. Our contractor had to rip out the old backsplash and put in the new backsplash. Napoli fought him tooth and nail on this, even telling him that they wouldn't be able to get the new backsplash for several weeks. Our contractor took matters into his own hands and found a supplier that could deliver the backsplash within a few days. All in they added about 4 weeks to our project because they couldn't get anything right. I wouldn't use Napoli again if they offered me the materials for free. Their customer service is abysmal and the mistakes they made cost us time and money, mistakes that professionals just should not make. Honestly, go somewhere else - even if it costs a bit more. I promise you will save yourself a pretty massive headache. read more

I am beyond words! I spent thousands of dollars for them to install quartz counter-tops less than 2 years ago. The other day I noticed a very tiny chip around the edge of a section of the counter top. Really really small...but I wanted it to be taken care of. I called Napoli today and they told me it would cost $400 for them to send someone to look at it repair it. The materials to repair this job. can't be more than a few dollars! Are these people for real!!!!! Stay awake from this place! I am so disgusted and disappointed! Crooks! Should be zero stars! read more

Had my kitchen counters installed yesterday, they are gorgeous! These folks are professionals from the beginning to the end. They are helpful, have a huge selection on site, and both their install staff and template people are courteous, and right on. As a bonus, they are priced very well. We got an initial estimate at home depot, and Napoli did it for less without even knowing they were up against the big guys. Highly recommend. read more

The stone slabs were beautiful and the installers had to show me where they seamed the joints as I could not find where they were. We bought a granite countertop over eight years ago from Napoli . I noticed a shift in the countertop and called the company expecting a long story that it was not covered and a price quote . I spoke to Sean and he listened to my concern and said he'd be over the next day .He came over and fixed the problem no charge , gave a brief explanation to my wife what could have happened since it was such a rare occurrence . My husband and I went to Napoli Marble and Granite about three weeks ago to look for granite and backsplash for our kitchen. They have a very small selection of granite. We finally found 2 slabs that we liked. When we wanted to find a complementing backsplash, the "designer" did not know the inventory at all and we were left to sort through the samples. She went to price out the granite and had to ask another associate to help her. They were the most expensive place we went to. Then they tried to upsell a sink, not knowing about the different grades of stainless steel. They were unable to price out the backsplash, but said they would send me the entire quote in an e-mail. I have not heard back from them. No matter, I found a better place. read more

I had a terrible experience at Napoli. I told the sales rep, Pinot, and everyone there how we did not want to spend a lot on the master bath granite as we were still recovering from hurricane Sandy. I told them I wanted their least expensive granite and so Pinot showed their cheapest aisle of granite in their very small granite yard. I chose from the very limited selection and made sure I stayed in their"cheap row". I asked him how much will it be and he said $1400. Then i get the bill from my contractor for $3350. I asked my contractor, he told me that that was directly from Napoli, I call Napoli, left a message. A few days later, a gentlemen calls me back, says he will look into it, never calls back. I call again, no one can help. I go in to Napoli and Pinot has the worst attitude, like he is above explaining why I was charged so much for a little bit of cheap granite. Anyway, please be aware. I thought I was helping my community by staying local but all they care about is collecting money. They couldn't care less about your situation or what you need. He completely ignored everything I said about not being able to spend so much in the bathroom as I had an entire house to reconstruct. I am so grateful that a friend sent me to AM stone for my kitchen beautiful quality granite. I would have ended up paying over $10k for crap if I used Napoli for my kitchen. read more

terrible experience for me and other customers i know. i went into the store, was helped by someone that doesnt usually work there was only filling in for the day. gave the measurements from my contractor, as well as how many boxes he would need. to place the order, rosemary told me that no, we calculated that you would need 9 boxes not 7. i was left with 2 whole extra boxes of tile and half from another box, but they conveniently have a no return policy on tile. this happened to other customers of theirs that i know. after ordering the tile and grout, they ordered the wrong color when my husband went to pick it up. held up my whole project and contractor. then, i called to reorder the right tile, and when i called to make sure it was ready they never ordered the grout with the tile so i had to wait 4 more days. when i finally went to pick up the order, rosemary and another male employee were yelling obsenitys at each other across their desks. even though there was a customer in the store. would not recommend this place to anyone, unless you want to get ripped off. read more

I am appalled by the lack of respect and how unprofessional the people that not only own this company but the employees as well. I have never written a rating before but felt the need to warn people about this business. From the minute you walk in the door do not expect to be greeted. Once you approach the woman who owns the company she will in fact be condescending and nasty. I had to pick my jaw off the floor because I have never walked into a business with such nasty people before. The employee that helped me clearly didn't want my business. I almost felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman without the whole prostitution thing. They basically pushed me out the door not wanting business. As a business owner myself and as a person with class and respect I would never treat consumers (or people on the street for that matter) the way these people do. They should be put out of business and based on their other reviews I'm sure it's only a matter of time.
