We went as a group of 8. 1st off we asked our waitress about some items on the menu, her reply was this is my 1st day her, I don't know. She didn't even offer to go ask, She wasn't very friendly or aware of anything on the menu when we asked questions. Our appetizer (Calamari) was over cooked and not good. We all receied our meal except our daughter. We asked our waitress where it was and she just laughted and said I'll check on it. She then came back and said she forgot to put the meal in. So she waited about 20min for her meal. At the end we asked for separate checks, we mentioned about my daughter meal error and asked if we would get a discount or be compensated, she said she would check. She came back and said she could give us a slice of cake. She gave us all the correct check, but when she ran them, she used the wrong card for each check. By then we were so frustrated we didn't mention it to her. The food was good, a bit high for the meals. Not sure if will return. read more

Number one best pizza in town. Great pastas as well. The garlic knots are amazing. I have always been too full to try a desert. I can only imagine what they taste like. My son and I always split a large pizza we have never been able to finish a pizza yet. They are huge. The mozzarella sticks are one of the best appetizers. Service is out of this world good. And the setting is very nice. It's in the basement and very clean. They have wines beers soda and tea. My family and I love this place. read more

Food is always good, sometimes the wrong temperature, but not terrible. Drinks are fabulous-the wine is amazing! Service is usually on point unless it's just an off night and the place is packed. Horrible service, Horrible food. Ambiance was ok. We arrived on a Saturday night and the place was empty. We ordered drinks, one person ordered wine and it took forever (like 15/20 minutes) to get it. Their were 5 of us. 3 people ordered salads, they brought out the appetizer and within 3 minutes of that, they started bringing out the food, one plate at a time. After they brought all the main dishes out, they brought the salads out (one at a time). Mine was cold, one was the wrong food altogether. The dinner that was wrong, we had to tell them to take it off the check because everyone else was done eating (we didn't see our waiter until we were ready to leave). We had 2 tickets, we gave them our cards and they charged the wrong card to the wrong ticket. We told them and asked them to fix it. They took the tickets to fix them and proceeded to charge them wrong again. We decided to leave it and fix it between ourselves. Will we go back? Absolutely not. Second of all our waiter Diallo was the nicest dude ever! he had a great personality and just over all a great dude, next time you go ask for him he is amazing! Our first visit to the new Napoli's in Lufkin (site of former Manhattan Fine Dining). The restaurant is located in the Perry Building in downtown Lufkin. Entrance on the side of the building, take the elevator to the basement. Classy woodwork and furnishings harken back to the days of the former restaurant and the new owner made the wise choice to retain the look and feel of an old Italian restaurant. The atmosphere makes it a nice place for dinner. Food on the menu is the same as their sister restaurant in Nacogdoches. We have eaten there and always enjoyed the food so we knew that we would not be disappointed. Our waitress (Eden) greeted us at our table in the bar area. We started out with the Caprese Salad appetizer and it was terrific. The tasty combination of fresh thick slices of tomato and mozzarella cheese complimented by the Italian dressing, fresh basil and olives was a nice start to the meal. I ordered the Chicken Cacciatore and my wife ordered homemade cheese raviolis. The Cacciatore entrée was two chicken breasts topped with sautéed green peppers, onions and mushrooms in tomato sauce, served over thin spaghetti. Four large ravioli's stuffed with ricotta cheese, topped with mozzarella cheese and baked in a casserole made up the Cheese Ravioli entree. We enjoyed both. Fresh rolls rounded out the meal. Both Eden and the manager checked to ensure that we were enjoying out meals and their new restaurant. We did enjoy it very much and look forward to many more super meals. read more

The place is very nice looking but lacks a lot. Sweet tea is colored water The Napoli's combo..best part is the cheese. The food looks like Great Value packaged food and everything is VERY bland. The bread is...bread no flavor, even when getting olive oil it was bland. Had to add cheese, red pepper, salt to make it taste decent. I hate to talk bad but please improve the seasoning on the food and sweetness of the tea. read more

We ordered a pizza and the garlic rolls. The garlic rolls were ok. However, the pizza was bland. There was very little sauce on the pizza, but what made it worse was the toppings were very sparse. This was a 3 topping pizza, and we actually had to look for the beef. As far as the jalapeno peppers, they were pretty much nonexistent. When you are paying $2.00 extra for every topping, you should be able to see the toppings. This order was over $30.00, and it was $30.00 wasted.
