Pizza was wet and soggy in the middle. Ordered stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer. It was so far from stuffed mushrooms it's not even funny. Some mushrooms on a plate with to sweet marinara and big chunks of what seemed to be fake crab sticks. No stuffing at all. Pizza dough is bought in then topped and served. Bad bad bad. read more

The food wasn't very good at all. We ordered the calamari, it was rubbery and barely breaded. It was barely warm. I did send it back and they didn't even offer to remake it or a discount. Then my eggplant rollatini, the edges were burnt but the middle was cold. I don't even understand how that even works. read more

Food and service were horrible. We were a party of 4 and only 1 person actually liked the entree they ordered. Appetizer of stuffed mushrooms was actually quarter sized mushrooms stuffed with NOTHING, then covered in marina sauce with square chunks of something in the sauce. Asked the waitress what it was and she said crab meat. Had to be imitation crab meat as it was cut in squares. We did not eat it. The fried chicken patty from the chicken parmigiana dish ordered was about 1/4" thick and tasted like cardboard. The lobster ravioli dish came with 4 stuffed ravioli and the rest was their sauce and yes, more imitation crab, which was not eaten. The beef Canalloni was not good. Texture of beef filling was like canned cat food. The only entree that was liked was a grilled chicken dish with red peppers and olives over penne pasta. Service was poor as we had to keep asking for drink refills and for our ticket to pay. She never asked how the food was. We were seated by the entrance and numerous people had to wait forever to be seated or some were Doordash trying to pickup an order. Will not eat there again and would definitely not recommend. Honestly don't see how they are still open when you have Napoli's and Auntie Pastas to eat at instead. read more

We arrived for an early dinner around 5pm, and enjoyed a couple of beverages while we waited on our dinner. The mojito was made with all fresh ingredients and packed a kick! Our server was attentive and very friendly, and the portions for our meal were HUGE! We took home half of each dish, and we were quite hungry when we arrived. They have daily drink specials from 4-6pm so we'll be back for Happy Hour to try some of their house specials. Overall a very good experience! read more

Absolutely delicious Italian food at very reasonable prices, under $11.00. The lunch menu had lots of choices and each came with a yummy, fresh salad, hot rolls and dipping bread. Roma's is a nice little resturaunt in a great location in Downtown Nacodoches. It's got a modest but high end atmosphere and the service has been great all three times that I have been there. Overall their food is pretty good and the price of your basic italian dishes are not only reasonably priced but generously portioned. I had the pasta combination plate and it was great along with the homemade bread they put on the table. I might have rated Roma's even higher, but on my second visit my wife and I tried their pizza. That's where Roma's falls flat. The pizza we got was a simple pepperoni pizza and it was quite ossibly the worst pizza I have had in a resuraunt. As hungry as we were, we couldnt finish it. The main issue was that the ccenter of the pizza was raw.Considering that the toppings were actually cooked and looked good, that tells me that they are cooking their pizza at a higher temperature to cook faster. The result is a soggy mess. The second issue was that the crust was more akin to bread that pizza crust, which tends to be more dense. It didn't really taste awful but it was noticeable. Lastly. and most egregiously, the cheese they use tastes very much like the cheap oily cheese on pizza one might find in a convenience store. You DO NOT go cheap on the cheese in an italian resraraunt. Everything else can be perfect but the cheese will ruin it. My final issue is that their iced tea appears to be watered down Gold Peak tea. That is a horrible choice for any resuraunt. Overall, I absolutely recommend Roma's and will definitely go back. With the exception of pizza, they have some really good food in a nice place with good service. read more

Was in town for our daughter's wedding and she recommended we come to Roma's. We spent several hours at the bar meeting and talking with bartenders Albin and Landyn. This has been my favorite Italian spot in Nac ever since they opened. Great service, delicious food at an affordable rate, beautiful ambience in a historic building. The owners are so sweet. They always check in with us when we are there. This time they sent us home with commentary cheesecake and tiramisu. We will be back again soon! read more

The food is good as is the atmosphere. We have been there several times. My only real complaint is that the constantly run out of beer. How does a restaurant run out of beer - over and over? Order more. Go to Walmart. Go to Kroger. Do something but don't run out of a key product. read more

Needs a few tweaks. First was way too good in there. It may have been cold that evening but our group needed to wear our coats. One guest in our party got the pasta combo with 3 different pasta dishes. It came out in a small lasagne dish that was totally covered with cheese so that you could not distinguish the different pastas. Another's dish was way too oily. Had to damp up the oil of her pasta just to be able to eat it. The pizza was also no better than a standard take n bake. We look forward to seeing improvements in the future as this is a needed restaurant downtown. read more

As I sit here and waiting on my food is passed 1 hour and counting, 14 people who made reservation and sat down prior to 3 other large party , I wonder how chick fila can get 100 people in and out the door in 5 minutes. This place has no management to control their employees,they should close down for a 2-3 Months and propertly train their staff or just fire the manager if they had one because this is no way to run a restaurant. DONT EVER EAT AT THIS PLACE ! 1 hour and 20 minutes and still waiting on a simple plate of spaghetti and meat balls. We were sat first out of 4 tables and the other three tables received their food prior to our table. When I address the issues with the manager was very unprofessional and was condescending. They also ruin a graduation lunch where numerous family members and friends they still attend school there. Please pass along if you want RUIN a graduation LUNCH OR DINNER. I would give it a review, but never got seated. Walked in around 2, hardly anyone there. Waited by the hostess station. There were four employees, not one even acknowledged that we were there. Wait staff, and I guess someone that work there, walked up the hostess station, saw us, didn't say anything, then walked away. Cutest little restaurant I had such high hopes for! My hubby and I sat at the bar as we always do in restaurants, but tonight was a huge mistake! The blonde behind the bar was clearly rattled and not handling her shift very well! She complained about being behind the bar and yet her customer service was so poor! Supposedly she trains??? We kept having to ask for simple things like drink menus, SILVERWARE and Napkins! Oh and do not even mention bread!!! Her behavior for sure put a damper on my last night in town!
