She was so thorough and professional in showing me the Sisterlock video, assessing my hair, installing tester locs, giving me information about the process, and answering any questions I had. She explained the difference between Sisterlocks and traditional locs (which further made me believe I am making the right choice). I love that the shop is in Inglewood (rep my city :) ) I can't wait to get my small traditional locs installed in a few weeks! Love! Love! Love! Their methods work! My Loctician is Precious and I found her by accident. It was God's plan for her to do my hair. I was in and out in less than 2 hour and she did my whole head. My hair grew until it reached my butt and I decided to cut and color it. They do it all and this is the healthiest my hair has ever been and I get compliments all the time. I called just to make an appointment and I was bombarded with rudeness. I just wanted to come in for a consultation and discuss possibly having Loc maintenance. One of the owners answered the line and immediately assumed that I was looking for a faux install and went into this rant about a $100 deposit up front to have this completed. Once I got a word in edgewise I explained that I had been loc'd over a decade and was new to the area and I just wanted maintenance, but a consultation first. She explained that there would be a $25.00 charge for that. She then asked for me to call her cell and send her a text message confirming the appointment because she was in the middle of an install. Confused, I said I would and hung up. After 30 mins passed she called back and started questioning me about why i hadn't sent her a text message. I explained to her that I decided to go a different route and hung up. read more
