i definitely recommend NaquaTech! I went to the store a couple days ago and Samantha is amazing at her job! she is the only one there with multiple customers at a time. her management and multitasking is seriously a skill. she does water testing and handles everything in the store! not to mention she knows her chemistr! I did exactly what she said to do and 24 hours later it did what she said it would do! super sweet and nice Mike and his pool crew are amazing! support this local pool shop! read more

If i could put zero stars in would. The girl who answered the phone just said "hello" I had to ask if this was Naquatech. I came in she tested my water i asked for a print out she said it doesn't print out so I asked her to write it down, she seemed annoyed. She told me a pH of 7.4 was high, it's not. She suggested I use pucks for my low Chlorine of 2 with CYA of 80. Pucks would make my CYA even higher. Then the yellow out I bought was $35. Which is $19 from Amazon. So I will stick with my home test kit and keep doing it myself, thanks for nothing Naquatech. read more

Agree with the lack of customer service statements. They do not answer the phone and do not return messages. Mike the owner is very knowledgeable but it all falls apart quickly after that because there is no other one of competence in the office organization. George and his sister are skilled craftsmen, but unfortunately the organization is just a mess. They overcharge because they are unfortunately the only game in town. For the third year in a row Naqua Tech was a no-call, no-show on the day they were scheduled (and paid in advance) to perform pool opening. I was told I would be the first opening this morning, and when they didn't arrive by noon, I took the evening off work assuming they were running behind. When I called around 4:00PM (the third time I finally got an answer), I was told their pool openers just didn't show up today!? When I asked why they didn't have the decency to call me and tell me this so I didn't waste the entire day (and miss work), the employee was dumfounded and had no answer. I believe strongly in supporting local small business whenever possible, but in this case I sincerely recommend spending the money and hiring an out-of-town pool company. This business is poorly managed and you're sure to be disappointed like I have been, repeatedly. read more

Poor customer service and disorganized. We hired them in April to finish and repair a pool that the previous contractor did not level properly. We gave them half down and was told they had jobs to finish before they could get to ours, but they would fit us in. When we did not hear back from them we started to call and was told maybe next week. We heard this repeatedly. This went on until June and they still did not start the job. Then on June 10, Mike the owner called and left us a voice mail message stating that they would get to the job, that we would be happy with their work, and that he lost the check that we gave him as a deposit. He said to write out another check when they showed up to do the work. We waited another few weeks and never heard back from them. By this time, it was July and we had given up hope they would ever show, and started looking for a new pool contractor. Because of the busy season, the new contractor we hired was not able to finish the pool until September. We wasted the whole summer waiting for Naqua Tech to do the job. Poor customer service, could not even give us a call back. We also do not believe that all summer they could not fit us in the schedule. We would never recommend this company. Oh, and October 30th they finally called us back as if nothing ever happened and informed us that they found the check that they lost! read more

If I could give this place NO STARS I would! Absolute con artists! We booked a full pool opening MONTHS AND MONTHS before our date. They showed up day 1 and took a cover off and turned a pump on and left. Didn't show up next day so I called. LES...A worker there was an arrogant idiot. Tells me I have big problems with my pool and that I have cracked pipes. WRONG I replaced a filter for 245.00 and the sand for 80.00 and did the pool myself. Then billed me 209.00 for a "soft pool opening"...you mean the cover u removed that my husband HELPED the old man they sent over?!?!?!
