She suggested I use pucks for my low Chlorine of 2 with CYA of 80. Pucks would make my CYA even higher. Then the yellow out I bought was $35. Which is $19 from Amazon. It wasn't. Supposed to open, clean and make some repairs before Memorial Day. All they did was remove pool cover and most of the water from our pool. Never followed up with pool cleaning and/or liner repairs. The delay in service caused further liner problems and more costs. Many unfulfilled promises. Very disappointing.

We had them change the pool liner, and they messed it up. There's a huge leak and we ended up wasting hundreds of gallons of water. Somebody else mentioned that J&L did an awful job on their pool and were mysteriously "unavailable" afterwards. We wish we listened to that reviewer. We also tried contacting J&L, but they never picked up or got back to us. They also left a few functions of our pool broken and unusable. The first day they arrived here, they were blaring awful country music from their truck. One guy hauled his wife and kids to play in OUR backyard. What the heck? They thought we weren't home? This guy hauled his family back home after he saw me when I peeked through the window. After they removed the liner, they lied about when they were going to replace the liner. They promised my mother they would replace it on a Saturday. They never showed up. Them my father calls them, and they said that they would arrive on a Tuesday. My father mentioned what my mother said, and they apologized while stuttering (over the phone). This was frustrating because it rained a lot while we were waiting them to arrive, and we were wondering whether or not the concrete tub would be damaged from all of the rainwater. The day they FINALLY arrive to replace the liner: they broke the filter and all of our pool lights. They said that it would be fine and would send another guy to fix them another day. A few days later, they sent someone to fix what they broke. The filter works (for now), but the lights don't. We tried everything, but they still don't work. The liner looks pretty, but there's a mysterious leak somewhere. My family felt really uneasy about having these guys at our home the whole time, and our guts were right. Get your pool serviced elsewhere.

I wasted $155 for service call just for this guy to tell me that I have to spend another $1475 to replace one rope and two gliders. I got suspicious of the pricing and said I'll think about it.I learned by experience not to make quicks financial decisions out of fear or desperation because that's how the companies like this take advantage of your desperate situation. I called Caribbean and they showed up within 2 hours and quoted $711 for everything: 2 ropes and sliders and something else. Their service call is only $99 by the way! Carribean Pools is the best all the way! They fixed my cover that same day within 45 minutes! If this guy scams on repairs, I can imagine how much he bankrupts people on pool installations and such! Unless you are dumb and rich Avoid! Update: looks like the owner is also a liar big time. I didn't suggest any quick fixes as I have no knowledge about the pools however, I did feel like he was pressing me to pay him $1475 like there was no option left AND I did question this high price (not quick fix). Tyson didn't answer his cell, and has yet to call me back. I see many negative posts for this business, for good reason. Maybe Richard is ready to close up shop, as he sure doesn't seem to care about keeping his customers. Stay away from this one folks, or you too will have disappointed kids on your hands.
