With a wedding and a Tv interview coming up, I decided to try a fancy hair cut. It cost double what I usually pay and it was worth it. My appointment was with Sara and I experienced 3 wow's before any hair was cut. They were small touches that surprised me. One was a warm towel behind my neck as my hair was washed. I won't describe the rest so that you can be surprised yourself. Fast, professional service and I'm happy with the work Sara did. I will be back for my next cut. read more

I hate writing this review but here it goes! I used to come to Nardinis back in the day all the time. A stylist I loved used to work here and she did such a fantastic job. Unfortunately, I had such a bad experience recently with another stylist. I came in for a simple blow out. The price was right so why not. The stylist convinced me that it would be better for her to curl my ends after blowing it out as I was attending a wedding later in the day. Sure, why not. I know why she suggested this. There is a price difference between a blow out style and if they use a straightener/curling iron. Meh, it still was cheap. Well, I really should have left at that point. The stylist clearly has little experience blowing out long hair. She attempted to blow it out but during the process she clearly didn't understand the motion or the heat temperature needed to do this. This resulted in no volume and basically just dried my hair. She still pinned up the sections, however once she let it down, it clearly had no volume. Because she failed to create volume she started TEASING my hair. The horror. I had to stop her mid tease. What are we, the early 2000s? 1990s maybe? It showed her inability to create volume with a blow dryer. I stopped her mid tease and made her stop doing this. She then proceeded to curl my hair. I left the salon looking as though I just curled my hair. Not like I got a blow out, like somebody curled my hair. I can't figure out if she's incompetent or just didn't understand what the difference between "curling" someone's hair was vs. "blowing it out". It looked like I had just curled my hair at home and done a poor job. I left the salon and washed my hair as soon as I got home. Would not recommend at all. read more

The service was excellent. Upon walking in I was greeted with a friendly face, had my coat hung up for me and was offered a hot beverage of my choice. I was waxed by a young woman named Greta, and it was my first time coming into this location.. also my first time waxing my legs in 6 months.. LOL. You can imagine the condition the jungle was in. Anyways, she was very friendly - made me feel very comfortable, and was fast and efficient. The quality of the wax/wax strips made a world's difference as someone as sensitive as I am found the experience comfortable. The rooms are well decorated, cushioned, and very private. The salon looks great from the outside but the experience on the inside was another story. My wife went in for a treatment but caught the receptionist on an off day she was not very polite and wasnt friendly, other staff didn't seem to be on the same page either and they seemed miserable and drained ,i did not like the atmosphere of that place, they look like they need the owners to step up and give them a pat on the back and motivate them and give incentive, if you look after your staff they will look after your business as if it were their own. Nardinis Salon came to my rescue after i had the worst hair dye experience at another salon. I called Nardinis early morning for an appt hoping to get in 2 days prior to my b-day and the receptionist was sweet enough to take my contact to call me if an earlier appt came up. She kept to her word and ended up calling me, tho unfortunately i had already been out to another salon (bad choice on mypart). Needless to say, i still ended up going to Nardinis that same day because my hair was a complete mess!!!! They welcomed me so quickly to stop by so that they could take a look at what was done to my hair. I went in desperate for a repair on a belayage that was done incorrectly. They greeted me so well, gave me all the options available, even with their busy schedule, Paul Anthony was able to fit me in and help me out! Elisa i believe her name is was also so sweet and she dyed my hair and also used an SOS treatment to repair the damage that was done by the other salon. You would never know my hair was a hot mess after Elisa was done with my hair. It looked amazing and healthy!! very professional staff and accommodating. recommend 100000%. If I could give this "salon" aka CHOP SHOP 0 stars I would. After basically ripping my face off after an eyebrow waxing, the "aesthetician" proceeded to blame her mistake on my sensitive skin, saying that it "was the soap I used". I returned to the salon the next day to further voice my concerns to the manager, who basically told me that "shit happens" and that they were not culpable for the damage done to my face. I left with burning, red, swollen skin, BUT not so much a simple apology. Do NOT, I repeat do NOT visit this "salon" unless you enjoy looking like you got whipped in the face with a hard object. Also, I should note that I was a previous customer (for over 10 years) and brought a ton of business to this salon. I went here to get my eyebrows tinted and I am very unimpressed. My eyebrows are naturally super sparse and I wanted the lady to darken them and make them look more defined. I literally could not tell a difference from my before and after pictures that I took, my brows do not look darker, the shape doesn't look nicer, and overall it was a TOTAL waste of money. The lady doing my eyebrows did not ask me what shape I wanted, just took the product and smeared it on my brows with no regard to making them look even. It seemed as though she didn't care! I don't know about Nardinis' other services, but I highly suggest you look somewhere else for a brow tint so you don't waste your money like I did. read more

Can only comment on the spa part, but I had a great experience! I was with Larisa for a massage and a facial, which were both very relaxing. She explained everything to me and made me feel comfortable. Furthermore, all the staff I interacted with were very friendly. From what I saw, the facility was very clean and well maintained. If I had to complain about something, I would say the walls are too thin (i.e. I could clearly hear voices and closing doors in hallway and adjoining treatment room, even with the calming music playing in my room), but I wouldn't say this was a huge deal. All in all, a great experience, and I will definitely re-visit! read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Paul-Anthony had a consultation appointment with me and tried to remove the black from my hair in a test piece. I wanted to go from black to med brow, closer to my natural hair. I told him I understand sometimes that cant happen and I just want someone to be honest with me. He assured me my test strip was no issue and the task I gave wont be a problem. Samar was terrible. I went in for my appointment with her (mistake). As she was saturating my hair with bleach, instead of clipping my chemically soaked hair to one side she let them FALL SMACK onto my face. My eyes burned, hair was in front of my mouth and nose. I kept asking to move it and she kept giving me kleenex. Then after pulling a hot STEAMING bag off my head she THEN comes to me with a waver stating I will not hold the salon accountable for any damage to my hair. NOT AT THE START OF MY APPOINTMENT, AFTER A BLEACH PROCESSES WAS ALREADY COMPLETE! My hair was unnecessarily over lightened, damaged .... and above all, after 3 days, it was orange. I asked to go a few shades lighter and my hair is way too light, damaged, and over-processed. I was quoted 230-250 and I walked out of there paying $350. I called back to give the salon a chance to rectify the situation and give them the benefit of the doubt. Paul-Anthony then called me to come back and see him, to see what we could do. So off I go to a 3rd appointment. He assures me in this second trial test strip "I'm confident we can get you closer to what you wanted with toner, its only $25 for toner but we wont charge you, I just have to run it by Tony" Well hey Tony, guess I wasn't deserving enough of your $25 discount as I was charged regardless.... even after spending another $100 in product from your salon for the DAMAGE your stylists did to my hair after I stated damage was my only concern and was told not to worry my hair lifts just fine, there should be little to no damage. Paul-Anthony also asked me how Samar was and once I told him my issues with her his response was "I ask because sometimes she rushes" WHY would you give her something she cant handle then? It that why she was complaining to me about being over booked? My hair cut was recently fixed by a woman who told me Samar had left the back of my head uneven and cut my "face framing pieces" into steps or "shelves" as she called it. Samar did not style my hair as I asked her to, she styled it the way she needed to to hide the mess she made in my hair. While frantically trying to fix the color and cut of my hair she continued to patronize me, petting my head telling me what a pretty girl I am. I'm a grown woman and don't appreciate it at all. I've been lied to, damaged, and I'm NO WHERE near where i wanted to be. The 4th appointment for toner did nothing, my hair is 3 colors, I spent $500 and I'm sick with regret. I just went for a haircut the other day. It was with Sara. I have long hair and asked for a simple haircut.. just a trim and layered in the front. My hair is completely uneven . I even took my own scissors to cut a piece tonight that was longer then the rest of my hair. None of it is straight. I'm so upset. I'm not going back to have them fix it as it could get worse. Revolving Door! I like to go in every six weeks or so for a little treat. Maybe my nails, maybe an eyebrow wax. I even get my "once a year" hair cut there. The last while I haven't been impressed. Every time I visit there are different staff working there, and I have to suffer through nervous new staff who are "still training". I have been a client for a while now, and every time I develop a rapport with a technician they disappear into thin air. The worst part is I can never get a straight answer out of anybody explaining where they went. Nardinis has always had this problem to a SMALL degree, but it was still at acceptable levels of turnover. Now.....it's getting to the point that I am afraid to get comfortable with someone, in case they disappear by my next visit. If I didn't care who did my spa services, I'd go to the cheaper place in the plaza and save A LOT of money! When I go to Nardinis, I pay the extra for the comfort. The company has lost that comfort now. Believe me, I don't see a HUGE difference in quality between them and the more reasonable competitors....so what am I paying for? It makes me wonder what is going on with management. Places where there is a high turnover rate usually have a problem. I used to LOVE you Nardinis! But I just don't know anymore. read more

After reading some of the pervious reviews I was skeptical, but a few of my gf's goes to see PaulAnthony and they absolutely love his work. I have to say I was so impressed with everyone there!! I absolutely fell in love with the place. PaulAnthony was awesome! He took me from a dark brown to a blonde in one shot! (which is impossible!!) but he did it! and my hair feels so soft and looks shiny and beautiful! I was so nervous about my dramatic results but I have to say I am so lucky I found this place. Not sure about the other review, but I had one of the best experiences getting waxed here. Latoyia was friendly, quick and most importantly minimized the pain. I have been to a couple of salons that left me walking away like they peeled a layer of skin off, but this experience was the opposite. I will be recommending all my furry friends to Nardinis. I used to come here all the time so I booked to get my hair done for my wedding. Met with the male stylist (think his name is Paul). He started off doing my hair but kept leaving me and doing other client's hair. When he was done, I told him I'm not happy with the way it looked and instead of re-doing it, he left and then another stylist came to finish up. He didn't explain anything to me, just left me and never came back. I kept looking at him but he never made eye contact nor did he care if was ok with my final look. I was so disappointed I never went back. A few months later, someone called me asking if I would like to schedule my next appointment. Poor customer service and a HUGE price discrepancy! I won't be going back. I wanted my hair done for a Christmas party and was quoted $35 over the phone so I booked with Filomena. They called me that morning to see if I could move up my appointment by 3 hours. I declined because a) I wasn't available and b) who gets their hair done 5 hours before an event??? When I arrived for my scheduled appointment , they passed me to a different (more junior) stylist but pretended that this was always the plan. If so, then how would I know who Filomena was??? The replacement stylist was friendly but i wasn't loving what she was doing to my hair. Add to that, the salon was closing and I felt "pressured" to leave. A more senior stylist came to help out (turns out it was the person I was originally booked with) and she did a wonderful job! Never during this process did anyone discuss prices or increased costs with me. So imagine my shock when they hand me an $86 bill!!!!! I questioned it with the front staff who agreed it was a huge difference and that the stylist should have discussed it with me but there was no offer to correct the situation. Again, I felt pressured to leave because they were closing so I didn't push it. But I was clearly unhappy and no one made any attempt to resolve it. I went to Nardinis for the 1st time in August after a trip to Europe. I haven't had a facial in many years and wanted to try this place since it's close and the reviews were okay. Sylvie did my facial and all was well so I decided to book an appointment for my second facial right there and then since I knew I would forget. It was booked for Sept 27/16 @ 6 pm. I am going through some tough times personally and was really looking to be pampered. I even took my children to my moms house who is a 20 minute drive away. I work in the city and it takes my 1 hour to get home. Being all organized I went for my appointment today only to be told I didn't have one. You can image my surprise after coordinating child care, leaving work right on time, etc. I showed the receptionist the appointment card which had their writing on it with todays date and time. She searched and said firstly that my last name and first name were reversed and that my appointment in their system was for Oct 14/16, which is a phantom appointment. She said that she can maybe get me in tomorrow at a discount to which I declined. I was very disappointed as this was more than just a facial for me at this time and I really prepared my time accordingly. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more
