Me and my mom went here today for lunch hadn't been before. The restroom was clean. We were the only ones there also. The menu is really fun. I've never seen such a fun menu before my mom and I both ordered the honey butter buzz chicken sandwich. I also got a side of waffle fries. My mom ordered the triple chocolate shake. They were out of the chocolate so she got a strawberry. That made her a little sad but the strawberry shake was delicious so she was OK. They gave you a lot of fries so I tried to split them with my mom, but she didn't like them. They weren't very hot and they had heavy seasoning on a few and the rest were kind of bland. The sandwiches were a little spicy. And we were supposed to get no spice, but I think they put spice on it anyway mine was just a little spicy. My mom's was more spicy, but that might be because she doesn't like any spice at all. Overall, ambience was good. No complaints at all. I felt very comfortable there. And I lied to my sandwich. Will definitely go back and we'll try something different and hopefully they have the triple thick chocolate shakes next time. read more

I was impressed. Place immaculate clean. Cashier greeted me upon entrance. Menus are on over head displays as well as printed version at the cashier. Food is cooked to order, so they give u an old school beeper that alerts you when your order is ready for pickup. I had double smashed cheese burger with lettuce pickle tomato and their smashed sauce. Burger was nicely seasoned, toppings fresh and burger was juicy and flavorful. They've also got desserts, mojitos, and your regular sodas if you just want to keep it simple. The staff is friendly and helpful, which makes the experience even better, and the décor is modern and trendy--nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal. I was excited to try Nash and Smashed after several friends recommended it to me. I went for lunch 3 times last week, so I guess we can say that I officially think it's great! All 3 times, I had the lunch special. There are 2 of them: chicken sandwich or 2 piece chicken, and both options include fries and a drink. I have tried both, but the sandwich is definitely my favorite! It is filling (enough fries to share) and so flavorful. The sauce is zesty, but what I love most is that it's not spicy! The restaurant has a nice area to enjoy your meal in house, but I did take each time, and it's packed up well and my order was always right. I did wait a few minutes, but nothing too long. The service has been friendly as well. 5 STARS! It's in a competitive area, but I believe it will continue to do well. I'll be back soon! read more

Honestly did not disappoint. First time i'm saying this, but I'm in love with their menu. It's so well put together. I think they selected the best combinations and southern foods without overwhelming the menu. It's honestly genius. The food did not disappoint. A Poor Dining Experience This afternoon my wife and I were in Hampton, VA looking for a new place to eat. We found Nash and Smashed online and decided to give it a try. This review is my own. I think my wife's experience was better than mine. Overall I give Nash and Smashed a rating of 2 out of 5. I will provide details in each of three categories: cleanliness, service, and food quality. Cleanliness (Rating 2/5). The place was disturbingly unclean. While it could have been worse, it was bad enough to make me uncomfortable eating there. The drink station was sticky with spilled soda. A box of straws was opened and left laying in the station area. The rug was soaked with spilled drinks so much so that you could feel the wetness under your feet. The tables needed to be wiped down, but they were better. The floor of the dining area was swept clean. Service Rating (1/5) Service was unnecessarily poor. Prior to going to Nash and Smashed we called to ask if they sold vanilla shakes. The phone connection was horrible. It sounded like we talking through tin cups connected by string. The person answering the phone hung up on us after we asked about the shake. We called back. The sound quality was just as bad, but this time we received an answer. Once in the store, the cashier who took our order was non communicative. I ordered a burger fries and a milkshake. After paying for the order, I learned that he gave me (and charged me for) a soda in addition to the shake. I didn't request a soda. I have no idea why he also gave me a soda. Before leaving the register I asked when I should get the shake. The only answer I got from the cashier was, "I will make it." (I then asked, "When will you make it? After ordering? When the order is ready?" I got no better answer. So I walked away. When our food was ready, I asked about my shake. He said, "I will make it." I stood at the register for 5 minutes letting my food get cold and waiting for him to make my shake. When the shake was finally finished, I asked for sauce. Although it was right there, he insisted that I get sauce from the icky, sticky drink station at the back of the store. Food Rating (3/5). I imagine I would have enjoyed my food more if I were not aggravated from having waited and if it were lot cold from having waited. As it was, however, it was cold and just ok. The milkshake was mediocre. In short, there are many burger spots that consistently provide a better experience. I don't imagine I will ever return to Nash and Smashed. read more

Meh Had a double smashburger. it was fine. not great. Fries were a bit undercooked and floppy. The sauce station was novel, and the special sauces were free, which is nice. Lunchtime on a weekday wasn't very busy and my order took a reasonable time to come out. I miss Mooyah. read more

Went here yesterday. Small location. Wasn't the cleanest. The burgers are a great size but tasteless. No seasoning on the burger. Cheese barely on burger. Not the usual smashed burger that I am used to. They have fruit punch of the menu but the actual fruit punch is a kids drink. I recently decided to try a new restaurant that had just opened in Hampton. My family and I were curious, so we drove there out of hunger and excitement. Upon arrival, my son started getting fussy, so we decided to check out the menu online. My husband and daughter went inside to order takeout while I stayed in the car with the baby. According to them, the interior was aesthetically pleasing, and the customer service was excellent. When my husband ordered mac and cheese, they informed him they had run out and kindly offered a free dessert along with the option to choose another side. When we got home, I tried the double smash farmhouse burger, and it was incredibly juicy and savory! The ranch and smash sauce were full of flavor and complemented the burger perfectly. The ranch, in particular, stood out for its quality compared to other places. I'm definitely coming back this weekend for that burger again! The Farmhouse Burger ( which doesn't come with pickles) had pickles on it which is my only complaint about this burger. Otherwise it was delicious, the meat to toppings ratio was enough to bite into the burger and still savor the taste. It features their signature smash sauce which pairs really well with their fries! The Beast Burger was just as delicious and the turkey bacon really adds to the flavor. All in all, it was good. While waiting for my food I witnessed many other customers complaining of missed ingredients. I would highly encourage you to be patient and double check your before leaving the establishment. Did takeout. When got home, notice waffle fries were missing, even though receipt clearly says fries on them. Make sure to check your order before leaving restaurant, obviously the workers don't. Piss poor customer service I must say. Make sure you check your take out orders before you leave or they will say you lied if you say something is missing or made wrong. I wasted my lunch break going back to this place because they had my side item missing from my order and made my burger wrong. Then the guy taking orders wanted to tell me I was lying about it. Said they always have people saying orders are wrong and come back to get free food and they have to give it to them. So you tell me what that had to do with me.....absolutely nothing. And he continued to say the same thing over and over again being very rude about having to give out free food. They need better customer service for sure. Because all I wanted was what I paid for.
