Nash may have some controversial reviews but.. they have an amazing selection of natural stone. I literally fell in love with some of their natural stone slabs and their exquisite natural beauty. Natural marble evokes images of nature and even the ocean. Quartzite can emit light and allow backlighting on a countertop. If you're interested in that type of thing. For me just seeing light through quartzite is amazing. The one thing I suggest is 1) go well before they close - they don't appreciate last minute browsers coming in at closing time. 2) if you buy - nark your piece or inspect before your fabricator pucks up. Because some slabs come from a group - make sure you choose and mark the one you want. read more

Extremely happy we decided to go to NASH for our kitchen countertops and backsplash. Various materials, textures and colors to choose from. Viewing as a "slab" made choosing a countertop so much easier. Gabi was amazing! She walked us around the warehouse pointing out the different slab material. The worst!!!!!! Gabby is terrible. The rudest women I have ever met in my life. She insulated an employee in front of me. Insulted me and even tried to tell me my fabricator doesn't know his job or what he is doing. FYI my fabricator referred me to Nash. I would never recommend anyone to go to Nash only because of Gabby. The owner should really evaluate his employees especially Gabby. The women who was originally helping me was so nice and explained all she could. Gabby took over and it was over. Terrible terrible experiance with her. She would not answer any of my questions and literally tried to make me feel dumb for asking them. Not sure what her position is within the firm but she should not be speaking to her coworkers or to potential clients like she does. I took my money and went someplace else. The day I met with gabby we were all ready to finalize the stone. If I would of met with the original person I was working with Nash would of got my money and recommendation. So Gabby i would recommend to stop using the 20 year experiance sales line and go take some classes on communication and basic people skills. Because your 20 years is lacking it. First I would like to speak on the professionalism that I encountered from the moment I walked into Nash. Extremely courteous, with no pressure. Nick and crew took all the time needed to view and discuss all the slabs that we were interested in. Nash has a huge variety of slabs, for any room of the house. In our case, we were interested in granite for a kitchen project, so Nick pointed us in the direction that would be best suited for our needs. Would highly recommend Nash. She had me walk the warehouse to see and note what I liked, and I liked a lot! They had the best selection of all the places I went to. Definitely Stay Away*** especially close to closing time. I can't even give a rating to Nash Granite. Just learned about Yelp review so I'm posting this now for my bad experience in Oct 2013. I went there on a Saturday afternoon where I was greeted by a young lady. I signed in and was handed a clip board to mark down slabs I was interested in and brought into the back and shown that there were 3 areas I can walk through. I was told they closed at 4 and it was 3 when I arrived. She turned and left me to look on my own. The main area was inside and the other 2 outside. One adjacent to the inside and the other behind the building. I finished walking through the inside and was walking between the slabs outside when I realized it was 4. I turned to walk back a few rows to go back inside the door I came out of only to find that it was CLOSED!!!! There was NO door knob!! There was NO door bell!! There were NO announcements made, Nothing!!! I got scared there might be watch dogs in the yard but quickly realized there weren't. Thank god I had my cell phone so that I could call their office. I called the office and no one answered the phone. I called several times. I Called 911 telling them my emergency and my location. There was only one other building sharing the lot. The back gate was over 6 feet and the front fence was a white pvc over 6feet high. I had to move a concrete table certainly over 75lbs towards the front fence in the hopes to find someone going in or out of their car.I looked out the fence and saw one other car besides mine. Mine was parked directly in front of the door. Finally after a few minutes a women pulled into the lot next door. I started yelling in the hopes to catch her attention. She finally figured out where I was yelling from and she looked up 6 feet to see my head peering out over the fence. She worked next door and went to get some help. These men came out and tried to help but there wasn't much that could be done. I called 911 several times but I guess not enough of an emergency. The men walked around the building a few times banged on the door but no one answered. They recognized the car as belonging to the owners son. They banged some more this time on a window as well as the door and finally the owners son answered. They told him I was locked in their yard. He quickly came and got me and apologized. After close to an hour and 1/2 the police showed up as I was walking out the door. I reported the incident to my contractor. He couldn't believe what happened. He called them to complain. They told him I shouldn't have been walking between the slab. He told them he couldn't believe that they don't look through their entire yard for patrons. He was told that they were sorry and the owner was going to call me. I Never received any calls from anyone. I even called them to find out how this happened to me. I asked to talk to the owner or Son and was given Gabby (she was the office manage at the time). When I asked who was responsible for checking and did they even have someone who did that, she simply said yes it was done. She told me I should have paid attention to the time and I shouldn't have been walking in between the slabs. She said no one had ever been locked in before but because I was in between slabs (standing directly in front of the slab to look not from outside it on an angle) I was missed. She then asked me the reason for my called and asked if I was looking for a discount on a piece of granite. I told her I wouldn't but granite from them if they were the last place on earth to buy it. I told her I was looking for a sincere apology and some assurance that whoever was responsible for checking was spoken to. I asked if they were going to take steps to have this not happen again like making an announcement on a PA system or for confirming that all who sign in and get handed a clip board get noted as returning the clipboard and leaving the premises. Or making sure that the person responsible for closing the outside lot was give specific instructions on how to check for people. Again, this happened several years ago but at that time they really didn't think it was a big deal and thought I was making more of it than it was. I think it was irresponsible on their part to have patrons walk through their yard unattended and irresponsible that they had at that time and maybe still nothing in place to make sure people don't get locked in. read more
