I am Judi. Hi Ruthie, see you soon.
    Judith H.

My husband and I travel many miles to go to Nashua Sew & Vac and it is worth it. Sewing is my passion and Ruthie and her crew have stepped up to the plate for me for years now. I have purchased a serger, two great embroidering machines, traded one in for an awesome upgrade embroidering machine, bought two vacuums and everything works great. Any repairs and servicing I have been totally happy with. I also buy accessories for my machines, hoops etc. Nashua Sew & Vac is a great place and I recommend them heartily. Oh did I mention the classes. They are informative and fun. The staff is friendly and treat you like family. So much to look at too..I can't wait for my next trip there. See you soon, Ruthie.

I should bring power cord and foot for my serger (a brand they don't carry) and it should be threaded for a standard 4 thread overlock.

Recently our Clothes washer got to a state where in order for it to change cycles I had to punch it....Yes, Punch it.... My wife called their dispatch and told them that her husband had to "Punch the washer" in order to get it to work. The tech came out the next day, looked at me and said "How's your fist?" and then fixed it within 10 minutes and thus my Knuckles and hand are much relieved... Ice maker wasn't working after 48 hrs, the doors did not line up, left side door stuck out from the right door, approximately 1/2", the right side of the refrigerator was dented and the fan cover wouldn't fit. Luke came out and said that the ice maker would take approximately a week to start producing ice, the doors would eventually line up, just needs to settle, and the dents on the side, are from shipping and that all his refrigerators in the store are just like that. And, the fan cover, well, he ordered a new one came out to fix it and it would not snap into place. He said he was going to contact someone and get back to me..that was early June...crickets. He must've taken me for an idiot, which I clearly told him what he was telling me, just didn't make any sense. I called GE, they sent out a technician that contracts for GE, tech replaced the door, still would not line up and the original ice machine was broken, that's why it wasn't producing ice. They ordered another door..same issues. Technician took pictures sent the to GE...GE confirmed by the pictures and the service order from the technician, that the refrigerator had been dropped. I had told Luke that I had contacted GE re: issues and his only concern was who was the company that was sent out. I mentioned to Luke, that I thought something happened to the refrigerator, which is why there are dents on the right side as well as why the doors would not line up, he dismissed this altogether. Another issue is the middle drawer is uneven, he tried to correct it, but to no avail. In our conversations, I said that I would see about getting a new refrigerator, because no amount of tech work was correcting any of the issues...he said "Good Luck with that". GE acknowledges that the unit had been dropped and will be replacing our fridge. So...I do not and will not ever recommend B&M to anyone ever. I will say the sales people were very nice and pleasant to work with, as well as the delivery crew..But Luke, that's whole different story. Their sign should say.. We do not service what we sell. Apparently, customer satisfaction is not a priority, at least it wasn't for me. I honestly believe that this refrigerator was dropped by them and they refuse to hold themselves accountable. (I had to give them a star in order to post, otherwise, I wouldn't have)

The store is disgusting, and the pricing is beyond outrageous. These are donated items, yet they're charging more than original retail prices. The shoes were revolting--dirty, worn, and completely unsanitary. I couldn't believe they were even allowed on the sales floor. The prices are a complete joke. The purses were just as bad. The "name brand" bags up front were priced higher than what you can buy them for brand new. This is a thrift store, not a luxury boutique--act like it. The staff made the experience even worse. No greeting, no customer service, nothing. When I asked an employee for help, she flat-out told me she was too busy while standing around gossiping with another employee. The lack of professionalism was shocking. This place is a mess from top to bottom. Management clearly doesn't care, employees aren't trained, and customers are treated like an inconvenience. I put off writing this review for a while because I was actually waiting for ALL of my furniture to…read morebe delivered. That's because the couch set we wanted (which is f**king lovely, btw) was on backorder for 6 weeks. Still, it was totally worth the wait! This triple level furniture store is jam packed with just about everything one needs to decorate their house with the finest upholstery, bedding, tables, chairs, etc that money can buy. And before you ask, yes....they have elevators. The funny thing is when we walked in, initially looking for a new living room couch set, we ended up also finding arguably the best kitchen dining set we've ever seen. At least, for us. All in all, we ended up spending like 4 grand, but it was worth it. The staff were also very accommodating and friendly. They didn't have us pay for everything all at once either, since each set had to be delivered on separate occasions. Basically, we just paid for the stuff as it was being delivered. Actually though, the prices seem fair enough. If you have old furniture for them to take away, they charge an additional fee for that based on the number of pieces that need to go. There is, however, one admonition about this that still irks the shit out of me.. It seems that either, a.) The management isn't telling their movers that old furniture needs to be extracted from the home prior to the delivery taking place. Or, b.) The movers are really lazy and apparently don't want to take ANYONE'S old stuff. So, they enter in with the mentality of, "No, we're not taking that"...until you point out to them that they are literally being PAID to remove the old furniture. After a bit of back-n-forth, they'll eventually (reluctantly?) do it. Just be firm, keep all your receipts, and it should go just fine. None of this is really a deal breaker for me, but it's just annoying. I mean, is it THAT foreign of a concept that customers will want their old furniture removed? Because I'm fairly certain that upgrading furniture is a pretty common thing amongst consumers. I....I just don't understand why any mover would take issue with this, so long as they are being monetarily compensated. I had two separate deliveries, as mentioned. And BOTH times, with two different moving teams, they initially went in with the belief that they were not removing any old furniture. It's just weird and I'm not quite sure if it's a breakdown in communication with their bosses, or just sheer laziness. One guy even grunted as he was moving a small piece of the couch, which....wasn't all that heavy. Despite all that nonsense, what matters most is the furniture itself and the store's selection. Both are on point. I highly recommend this place as a go-to for your furniture needs, along with the aforementioned caveats to all present and future customers.
