Luckily, I was able to get the last one they had & tax-free is always a win. I got the Sony A6400 with just the kit lens and I'm super excited to open & try it out. Now the First Gentlemen looked annoyed as the DSLR camera section alarms all going off from customers trying to look at the display cameras. Don't know where he went after helping a customer grab a vlogging camera. We did ask another gentlemen Jose? For help and he immediately helped us out, grabbed the key and got our Sony camera the lady was looking for. Quick and easy. Apparently it's not his home store but he was A1. Thanks for the help! I picked up the top-tier iPhone and iPad here (and got a great deal), and the entire experience was handled with care and professionalism. The store was busy, but the staff were attentive, kind, and clearly doing their best under a lot of pressure. Nick and Alex were especially helpful and understanding, and Sarah from corporate was amazing -- responsive and thoughtful all the way through. I've seen some negative reviews for this location, but honestly, that hasn't been my experience at all. From what I saw, the staff were working hard and treating people with respect -- even when some customers were impatient or rude. If you just approach them politely and give them a moment when they're busy, they'll absolutely take care of you. And if you ever get a product from here and need to return it, exchange it, or have any issues -- they're on top of it. Nothing is left hanging, and you won't be stuck trying to get a refund or replacement. They handle all those situations smoothly and professionally. The team here really deserves more credit. Upselling at its finest!! I went into this store to buy a certain computer. The tall young man insisted that it was a crappy model because it said " value" and advised me not to buy it. He even picked it up and said, " look at how crappy this is made." Ofcourse he recommended a more expensive computer with less memory. Because of what happened, I walked out and didn't buy anything. Their upselling tactics are abusive! Wouldn't it have been more prudent to let me buy what I wanted than to not have any sale? I always prefer to shop in person and support physical locations. Unfortunately, I usually walk out empty. The first time I came, the product I wanted wasn't in stock and that was understandable. The second time, there was a sales queue you had to sign up and wait for until a staff member was available to get the item you wanted. I will say that the store has definitely gotten a nice upgrade since I last shop here. There's electric bikes on display, Lego sets for sale and other entertainment items besides the usual movies, cameras and games. So, let's talk about Best Buy's home delivery and installation service for a minute. Do you know what 80% of success is? Showing up. Wanna know what Best Buy absolutely sucks at? You guessed it! Showing up. How the hell are you supposed to do an installation job if you can't even show up to a person's home on time TWICE? Don't know! ¯\_( ° °)_/¯ And....it actually gets worse, if you can believe it.. You see, this most recent job to have a smart thermostat installed in my home wasn't the first time Best Buy was a no-show. We have a history, these guys and I. I was actually in the process of replacing one smart thermostat with a better one. Well, the first installation took THREE separate visits to get properly installed. First visit was a no-show (of course). Second visit, they sent an inept technician who didn't even have enough experience to know what he was doing. So, they sent a more senior tech on the third and final visit. He installs it, tests the A/C and everything worked fine. Until the next morning when I realized the heat wasn't working. Long story short, I got a competing heating & cooling service (thanks, Joyce) to come and take a look at the problem. Turns out, a wire wasn't connected. One. Freaking. Wire. Fast forward to today and we're already up to two strikes. Two missed appointments. I'm done. I am f*#king done! This is absolutely the LAST time I will be calling upon the likes of Best Buy for a home installation because it's apparent that they are severely overbooking their technicians for jobs. Just to be clear, I do not blame the techs themselves for the non-visits. It's pretty obvious that they simply run out of time at the end of the day and end up not even getting to all of their booked appointments. Not to mention, the 8 hour window they give doesn't help much. The only reason I don't give Best Buy the lowest rating possible is because: 1.) They still do offer cool tech for "sort of" fair prices. Though, it is worth mentioning that the existence of things like Amazon Prime makes me question how in the world Best Buy is still in business. And 2.) Their online customer support service is surprisingly cordial and accommodating. They at least empathized with my total frustration with everything. It's just a shame they forgot to send me a copy of the online chat as I requested. Oh well. In the end, Best Buy is only worthy of 2 missed appointments (see what I did there?) out of 5. read more

To improve you might want to teach customer service. I went there Tuesday night to look at desktops and buy within the week. The greeter was nice and she directed me where to go. I walked around that department for 15 minutes at least. There were no other customers in that area but I saw 3 employees hanging out 50 yards from me. None of them came over. I placed an order for an item listed as "in stock" and available for pickup today at 9:45 AM this morning. It aid that I would receive an email when it was ready for pickup. At 2:30PM I had not received an email so I decided to call the store to get a status. I asked the auto attendant to speak with a live person. It acknowledged my request and said I would be transfered. I was informed that all agents were busy and I was placed on hold for 18 minutes before it hung up on me. Terrible service. Bought an eShop complete download for a switch game. Was told the receipt and download code would be emailed to me l. Neither of which were, called best buy to complain and they told me I need to make appointment with store later in the week to get redemption code. I work the next 13 days in a row I don't have time to be making appointments with best buy to get something I already paid them for at the store. What good is the card. Your techs are busy with people until 12:15 then I am told I have to reschedule claiming the paperwork will take 5 minutes... that still puts me in my 12:20 window. So instead of processing my drop-off which wouldn't have been dealt with in the allottedtime window regardless, you're worker preferred to argue with me. When I left (after 12:20) there was no one waiting in line to fill the 12:20 appointments. You could have taken my simple drop off. read more

My boyfriend bought a gimbal at Best Buy for me. After a month of using it twice, the gimbal stopped charging. It wasn't dropped or banged against. I brought it back to Best Buy and they said there is nothing they can do. The return policy is 15 days. I would have to contact the manufacturer. My boyfriend said the same thing happened to him when he bought his speakers for his car at Best Buy. It stopped working and he had to contact the manufacturer himself. I just feel that it sucks to shop at a store that doesn't feel accountable for the products that they sell. Most retail stores that I frequent have a return policy of at least 30 days. A 15 days return policy just tells me they don't want to deal with their product issues. If I can find a product elsewhere instead of Best Buy, then I won't be going to Beat Buy again. read more

In March of 2021 I purchased the equipment and installation of a Kicker Subwoofer (Best Buy / Geek Squad, Nashua, NH). Cedric Wager broke the screen to my factory radio/navigation system. They offered to replace it with an aftermarket Kenwood radio and told me this option would be more compatible with my truck versus the factory radio that they broke. After the install and immediately leaving Best Buy, my directional signals in my truck were no longer audible. The radio quality of the new Kenwood radio was terrible (sounded like it was underwater), the backup camera was not visible at night, it would power on/off on its own, & apple car play would not work. I made a complaint to Theresa Olsen (manager) and a new Chevy radio was ordered to replace the one that was originally broken, and to replace the malfunctioning Kenwood radio. Cedric was no longer an employee. Kaden Emmet installed the Chevy radio. It would not turn on. It was then taken to MacMulkin Chevrolet in Nashua for a diagnosis and they informed me that they entire radio would have to be re-wired, as it was installed incorrectly by Geek Squad's previous employee, Cedric. Kaden could not figure out the issue. While Chevy had my vehicle to diagnose Best Buy's incorrect installation, my vehicle got broken into and I had THOUSANDS of dollars work of electronics (to include the subwoofer originally installed), tools, gift cards, etc. which could have been avoided is Best Buy would have handle my situation with more urgency. I have been without a properly functioning radio since the original install in April 2021, and now I've been without a radio that won't even turn on since Kaden installed the factory radio in May. In the meantime, the geek squad garage at this Best Buy location in Nashua has closed. Theresa has moved on to another Best Buy location, and since July 6th 2022 Gustavo Puchols (new manager) has taken over this incident. He refuses to resolve this issue. To make a long story short, the insurance claim that was assigned to this incident was closed before the issue was resolved. Suspicious. I believe that it was closed in an effort to hide the fact that Geek Squad incorrectly installed my purchased equipment and insurance doesn't cover incidents like this. They refuse to take responsibility. I have all receipts and a timeline of all events and I will be taking legal action if this doesn't get resolved. Not to mention, customer service is non-existent. If the store managers refuse to resolve the issue in-house, you can't complain to corporate because you can't reach corporate. You are passed around operator to operator, retelling your story over and over, with zero resolution. read more

We went over to the apple phones, they came to us after a they were free and told us to go to the phone desk. At the phone desk we sat for over a half hour while they helped someone in front of us. This was all fine until the person at the desk left, and when one of their coworkers came over to help, the person in front of us said he was all set but we were in line, and the guy told us there was a sign up at the front for help that they didn't tell us about. ordered a 75 in TV on 11/19 to be delivered on 12/10 with installation. Took a day off from work to be home for the install. Expecting the install between 12 and 8pm. Get a call at 9:15 am not from Best Buy but from the installer saying he wouldnt be coming because Best Buy doesnt know where the TV is. Drive to Nashua to find that they dont have the TV but if i had a truck which I dont I could go pick it up at another store. But they couldnt have anyone install it until the 31st. I went to this store yesterday, wanting to spend some cash. I give them two stars because they kept me from blowing my money. As others have said, they have a real problem keeping things in-stock, especially when it says they have it, you do everything to check inventory, including calling and having them check, then you get there, nada. Yesterday I would have purchased $$$ Beats headphones, a DJI drone, or some GoPro accessories. They had nothing. There were displays with missing demo pieces, like a wire where a drone should be, or a drone frame where a full demo model should be. They had pictures of what I wanted, but nothing on the hooks. The prices were 9 out of 10 times not locateable. It seemed as though they have a theft problem. I don't want to try and decipher a code on a tag, I want to see the product example, pick up the box, see the price, and BUY IT. I couldn't do that. To boot, the store was a mess, like after a Black Friday sale. If the display was there, it was either damaged or just dirty. I squarely blame the Biden administration for damaging American pride in employment and hard work. I don't want to see Brick & Mortar commerce fail, but it seems, thanks to everything that has happened since the beginning of the 2020 election cycle, they will be going the way of the Dodo. read more

I hadn't seen a real camera in a store since COVID (of course, the one I wanted to look at isn't available ANYWHERE due to the computer chip shortage BUT I finally got to TRY a display one after 2 years of trying to locate one). I think every location has a zillion guys asking if you need help over and over, which is tough on someone with social anxiety like I do, but they are generally OK and leave you alone after they make contact. I recently purchased a HP laptop from Best Buy, Nashua. When I asked about MS Office 365 subscription, the sales person told me that none of the computers they sell included that software and that I needed to buy that subscription separately, which I did. When I set up my computer I found that one year subscription was included for free. When I went to return the software I was told that I cannot return software purchases and that I needed to call Microsoft (even though the receipt says the subscriptions are managed by Best Buy.
