Therefor all good reviews are inaccurate and all the new ones are terrible but the Review rating does not reflect this. Many people are being mislead here, booking campsites only to find out about the change later and not able to get their money refunded. This is the worst place I have ever stayed. They would have to fire the GM to improve anything and what do you know - he also manages the KOA next door... such a shame since the old owners took such good care of the park. They decided to serve us an eviction notice simply because we requested clean water to be provided when they shut it off without notice, refusing to tell new entrants that it was broken as well. We went upwards of 10 hours without water for our family and they told us we had to BUY WATER from them if we wanted it - on top of the $900 fee to stay here for the month. We went and bought water bottles ourselves at a gas station to hand out to the surrounding families so they wouldn't have to suffer the atrocity we experienced when speaking with the horrible staff there. The showers are disgusting, the wifi never works, and to top if off they are refusing to give refunds to all customers who were not aware of the changes happening in the park here regardless of the reason.  Others have also had issues with staff breaking things on their property and mistreatment by the staff, and were also forced to leave the park after confronting the staff on their heinous behavior. In a flash my welcome has run out. What have I done to provoke my sudden exile? From the camp grounds I am expelled like fecal matter from a man who just consumed several Taco Bell cheesy gordita crunches and burrito supremes, and like this same excrament I have been treated since the beginning. Allow me to tell my story in hopes of preventing this same treatment toward other fellow human beings. I return to my humble abode after many hours of dealing with constant complaining. As this is how my living is made, it must be done. To my suprise, I discover my window has suffered a fate commonly suffered by Windows. At first I suspect the children next door: Always outside, urinating wherever they please, with no regard for the ambient decibels of the park. Upon further inspection, I obtain information that shifts my suspicion to our landscaper, also known as, PABLOK the Projectile Propeller. When was Pablok here? I asked the registration office, also known as the Troll's Den. When this question was asked heads turned, and suddenly 1000 judging eyes are staring at me as if I just stole each one of their victorias secret catalogs from their mailboxes. He was here earlier today. Said the angriest of the group. Why do you ask? I respond politely. "I suspect Pablok has propelled something into my window during his weed and grass eradication process." When I say these words. Believe you me. I felt I needed to escape the cozy confines of the office. It was no longer a safe and neutral ground. I was trespassing in enemy territory soon to meet the same fate my window did. Days pass. I decide to solve my window issue on my own. In hopes of reaching some kind of agreement I reach out to the Troll's den again. This time via email in an effort to survive the confrontation.  I asked them if they would be willing to replace my window. This is their domain. Safe, uninterpupted, neutral, and calm on a normal day. I assumed they would do as they needed to maintain order in their troll kingdom. I receive a response. They have banished me from their kingdom! Left me to fend for myself in the harsh, unforgiving land known as Nashville. Fine. I shall make my way. Never to return to this land. Ive no family, and no ties to this kingdom. I only found refuge here. Asylum has been granted and taken away as quick as it came. There are several other kingdoms with far more diplomatic leaders in which to make my stay. I hope this helps in your decision making process. We pay for a place that should be maintained. If a small incident like this happens I personally feel it is the responsibility of the property management to handle. To automatically be told that we have to be gone by the end of the month is crazy. I hope this doesnt happen to anyone else. Do what you can to avoid finding peace here. For peace you shall not find. I don't know about any other time of year, all I know is if you're in the area around Christmas time, this is a must go. Lights synched with music that's playing through your car speakers. Is there anything else that needs to be said? It's a classic American tradition if I've ever seen one. Yes, I know this is real kitschy and all, but when you're here, taking in the lights and music, you kind of forget it all as you feel like you're 5 years old again. Seriously, it's awesome. Just remember that it's in some kind of campground or RV park, so watch out for that. read more

We stayed june 10th - 14th. Rented 3 cabins and the air conditioning didn't work in 2 of them! They moved one of our party to another cabin and said we would have to just deal with the other ok e as they had no more rustic cabins. the lady in t j.g e office did everything she could to make it right but when you have a manager (Aaron Williamson) that doesn't care about his Guests it makes it hard for the staff to do their job. The steps to the cabins were covered in moss and very slippery, the bathrooms were dirty, they don't accept cash, the office closes at 5 pm so if you have an issue or need something it has to wait till the next day. I tried to contact the General Manager (Aaron) for 10 days and left 8 messages and still to this day have not received a return call. Horrible Manager. He is also the G.M. for the KOA Resort on Music Valley Dr. so it is probably ran the same way! read more

Not impressed. It was NRA weekend and they looked just like it was recently opened but conditions were kinda poor. We we're told it was a complete sellout so you would think they would have been prepared. Not to be picky, but $50 a night, hardly worth it. Very small pull thru sites. No real paths to bathhouses, had to cut thru others campsites. Kids play area look like it was abandoned a few years ago. Their brochure showed a new water park area planned for 2014 but doesn't look like they even started. 5 minutes after bathrooms were cleaned, stalls only had 1/2 roll of TP left in the dispenser. Very poor interior roads. Very poor main drive leading to street, Huge potholes. Water hoses at dump site not hooked up. Very limited wifi. Out of a party of 5, we were only allowed 3 wifi codes and no sharing of codes. Once connected, signal was there but I think 1G would be faster. I will give it to them that they have a great location and the showers were fair. That's about it. Being in a big tourist area and having a million sites, you would think they could afford to be a destination, but I think they are only a 1 to 2 night stay. read more

Review of the lights: it's worth the money if you have a big van full of people! It probably took about 30 minutes to go through the whole place. Now my advice is to get here at 430pm!!! It opens at 5 but you do not want to be trapped in that looooooooooong line. We ate at Logan's down the street and left around 445. By that time, there was already a short line. This review is strictly for the Dancing Lights: If you have a carload of children, older people, or young people like myself then this place is for you! Be prepared to pay $25 a carload and enjoy a 30-35 minute car ride of dancing lights for Christmas. For me this honestly was a 5 star experience. Idk how but GPS skipped traffic and we were already prepared to pay the $25. The trees, lighting, and music is pretty awesone. They also have alot of activities and fairground foods near completion of the dancing trees. They had inflatables, a petting zoo, and pictures with Santa Claus to name a few. Honestly I enjoyed the entire experience and would recommend others to go as well! read more

It's an RV park. Went here a day after Christmas and the lights were still up. They charge per vehicle, which I think is very steep considering the lights were just okay. You will enjoy the lights if your radio works. So please make sure of that before coming here for the light festival. There were cars that were right up on your tail and couldn't wait. Or other cars that think this is a go kart track. At the end, you can exit or park and do the pony ride, buy some food, do the trampoline. We walked in and walked out. Nothing really amusing for us to do. And it smelled like manure since the ground was wet from some rain. read more

It is an $85/night dump. 3 things that an rv person expects at that price. A clean space. Trimmed tree's. Internet. This place failed on all 3. Gravel roads are extremely tight and full of pot holes with cars and trucks parked everywhere. Fire ring was full of trash. Tree at my space hadn't been trimmed so I couldn't get my awning out. Wifi was awful. Went to inquire about wifi ticket numbers that weren't working and was lectured as if I had just been busted for playing with matches by the woman in the office who clearly needs a personality bypass. Certain the park will respond asking if I had brought these matters to their attention which I didn't. At $85/night these most basic items should be a given. Keep hunting for a park. read more

Where do I even begin? How about the lady running the registration desk. I'm not sure I've met someone more rude and disrespectful to a customer than the lady running this _______show! Check in: Read what I wrote above and you will have about 10% of what's wrong with this place. 2. Wifi: Remember when internet came out and we had those modems and 14k upload speeds.....remember those? That horrendous sound while you connect and then once you're connected it's almost like you never actually connected. Slowest internet BY FAR of any business from gas station to hotel to bar to shopping center. Then, when everyone tries to watch their streaming movies at night it literally gets worse. But forget streaming content, you can't even hardly send an email with a photo with their wifi. It's really not that difficult to invest in wifi that's 2021 worthy. 3. Trash bins. I was there two weeks and still don't know where the trash goes. So I just left it out by my door. 4. You know that saying "the customer is always right"?? NOT AT THIS PLACE! It's actually "THE GODESS AT THE FRONT REGISTRATION DESK IS ALWAYS RIGHT!!!" Don't even dare ask her any simple questions because you're just gonna get that stare of "I REALLY DONT HAVE TIME FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE SO GET THE HELL OUT!" 5. The nail that sealed the experience for me. I got extremely sick to the point where I couldn't even get out of bed without passing out or throwing up. I don't know that I've ever been more sick than what I was on this particular weekend. I was supposed to check out on a Saturday but I honestly didn't even know if it was Saturday Monday or Wednesday. I was THAT sick! So because I didn't answer my phone on a Saturday when "the Godess" called me she got all hot and angry and it put her in the mood she loves more than anything......being an absolute _________to the customer!!! So it's Sunday and while I'm feeling slightly better I'm still extremely sick. I don't know if it's the flu or Covid. But it doesn't matter because when "The GODESS" wants you off of her domain you have to get off her domain. I literally begged her to please allow me to stay a couple more days. I was simply too sick to even pack. I gave her my credit card info to charge my card and I confirmed that there was room for me to stay a couple more days. So I assumed all was fine. An hour later she calls and threatens to call the police on me because I haven't left. Yes, this happens AFTER she said I could extend my stay and she even took my card and charged my card for the extension. But once she got her money she started the threats for me to leave. Not knowing if I have the flu or Covid. She didn't care. She didn't care about anything other than herself. So at this point I had enough of this lady and her antics so I actually left and she NEVER refunded the money I paid from the extension. So......PLEASE RUN, DRIVE, FLY, EVEN TAKE A HOT AIR BALLOON IF THATS WHAT IT TAKES TO STEER CLEAR OF THIS JOKE OF AN RV CAMPGROUND!!!!! AND DONT GO NEAR THE GODESS BECAUSE SHE IS ONLY OUT TO DESTROY YOUR CAMPING EXPERIENCE. THE END PS. When The GODESS doesn't want to accept blame for something she will blame it all on "Corporate". So whoever owns this campground needs to know that the lady representing your business is absolutely ruining your reputation as a friendly RV Campground that welcomes all people. She bashed "Corporate" over and over and over to me. Not wanting to take responsibility for her actions she instead blows it all on "corporate". NOT JELLYSTONE ANYMORE!!! They won't tell you that! Literally the worst park we have ever stayed at!!! We have been traveling in our trailer for about two years now and have never had a worse experience! First of all they sold the park and did not inform any of the reservations, so the activities and amenities you thought you were getting...you're not. Okay oh well right?! The grounds themselves are pretty nice as spacious, kept up from the previous owners and the new owners haven't had time to ruin them yet. Second, the WiFi is super spotty, works maybe in the middle of the day but other than that good luck. And lastly, the management. This is the part that is the reason I'm even writing this review. A water pipe burst in the park so all the water was shut off, okay it's an RV Park it happens no biggy! However, there was zero communications from the staff and when I called they kept saying it would just be a few more min (it was about 10hrs!). When we went to the front desk to try to have a reasonable conversation about getting some water for our family and dogs they said they can't just give us "free" water. Then when we were a little confused about the lack of empathy or desire for resolution the front desk manager (KIM, an adult women) proceeded to plug her ears!! A grown women! We then contacted the manager of the park again for some resolution, mind you we are paying $900 a month plus electric in TN, and he basically said kick rocks literally zero effort to even pretend like they were trying to fix anything. In the end we went and bought waters and handed them out to the people in the park who were also without water. Now...kicked us out of the park. This park is NOT cheap and NOT worth it! We called a week prior to the day we wanted to camp. I noticed online they were offering a 25% discount if we booked between 1/15-1/31/2017. But we had to call. When I called the woman at the front desk didn't know how to enter the discount because they just got a new program. She said she would have the manager call me the next day. I asked her if she was sure there would be slots for my RV and my friends RV as well. She said not to worry. The next day came and I didn't get a call, so I had to call back. The manager was really nice. I booked our weekend trip without issues. The day of I called to make sure we could reserve a fire ring and picnic table (because that's what the website said to do). The girl that answered the phone was extremely rude. She said all the sites have them. I said okay, thanks...she just hung up on me. Upon check-in the same young girl that hung up on me was at the front desk. She tried to rush me through check-in. I explained to her this was my first time at an RV park with my new RV so to please stop rushing me. She slowed down and was a tad bit nicer. I then asked to purchase firewood. Because the website stated we couldn't bring our own. She said they only sell wood in the summer and that we needed to bring my own. Ugh! Our stay was good, wifi only powered phones and tablets. Not our smart tvs. We tried to use the bathhouses, but both of them were broke. We had to go to office. Which was inconvenient. All in all not a bad stay. Camping world is right around the corner, which is a plus. read more

Name has changed since we stayed here last. Lots of permanent camping going on, sites are not kept up. Our reservations got mixed up, first they booked us for June instead of July, then when got here the dates were mixed up again billed us for a night we weren't even here. Pool wasn't kept up well broken amenities and water wasn't clear, skimmers weren't keeping up with the bugs floating on the water.we walked the dogs and found ticks on them when we got back from our walk. It's not what it used to be, hope the new owners put a little effort into cleaning it up. The internet was weak wouldn't steam tv channels other than that wasn't so bad everything else worked. Pull thru sites, didn't have to worry about anyone speeding cause the roads had potholes everywhere. The KOA is a better choice or two rivers. read more

**Review is just for the Christmas light display** Came here early in the season while it was still free for military members. I have been waiting for this for awhile. I like how you turn your radio on and the lights flash with the songs. Very neat. They don't have a whole lot of songs so if you end up going when it's busy and get stuck waiting for awhile you will hear the same songs multiple times. I think the display is awesome. I am glad we didn't have to pay. I thought $25 was pretty steep for what you get. The end of the drive, past the tunnel is very lame. It's like they got tired of doing lights and just stopped. Bottom line, cool Christmasy thing to do, but I am so glad we didn't have to pay for it! read more

This review is ONLY for the "Dancing Lights of Christmas" event. I have not experienced the park itself and have never camped here. So, although we waited in line for a good hour, we were still pretty ecstatic about the show. You tune into to the radio and it is synchronized with the lights. I had a huge problem with the music. The drive through the park was about 40 minutes long and they played the same songs repeatedly. Two of the songs weren't even Christmas themed. Yes, we all like Lee Greenwood's version of "God Bless the USA", but what the heck is it doing at a Christmas event? Where was Winter Wonderland? Jingle Bell Rock? There was also some ridiculous song about coffee and the C in Christmas. It was so horrible that we turned it off each time it came on. At 25$ a car, I expected more. More decorations, better variety of music and just a better experience altogether. I probably wouldn't do this again. They do accept credit cards for entry and at the Christmas Village but do NOT have an ATM. And for the love of Santa, turn your headlights off! read more

Conveniently located next to the highway, there are shuttles that will pick you up at the entrance and take you downtown. We have a 45' pulling a 20' trailer and stayed in a pull through site at the back of the park. We didn't use any of the facilities, and maybe that's why I thought $91 was high for the park. I like that we were able to phone ahead by only a few hours, and our info was ready for us at the guard gate. We were able to pull in and go straight to our site. read more

This was our first time camping at a Jellystone Park and our first time winter camping. Jellystone Parks are known for being very family friendly, but during Christmas weekend, there weren't many kids or overall park activity. They are no longer the host location of the city's Christmas light show, which is what we had planned on experiencing after looking through the photos posted on Yelp. We booked online just days before our day prior to Christmas Eve arrival. Somehow there was a mix up with the website not accurately depicting or matching the sites with the features. For example, we booked a site that indicated that it included sewer, but when we called to confirm, we were informed that site didn't offer full hookups. In addition to three of us staying for an extended weekend, we knew that we would need to leave the water dripping at night to prevent the lines from freezing, both resulting in the need for full hookup. When we came back "home" on Christmas Eve night, our water had been disconnected. Luckily, we had an extra water hose because after being sabotaged the first water hose was completely frozen. Side note, during our weekend glamping trip, we also burned through an entire tank of propane. The same tank lasted us all season spring to fall. I'm not sure if the winter camping thing is for me. Although the location is super close to Gaylord Opryland and Opry Mills, it's not safely walkable. There is a strip of two other RV Parks, Camping World and another RV sales company, all within about a half mile of each other... Nashville's own camper's row. All of the sites are pull through, but each is a bit too close to the next. We started a brief campfire, but it was so close to the neighbors RV. read more

A mixed bag with Yogi. First off a $68 per night (with my military discount) is pretty much double for your usual RV park. I guess it's location. This place is huge, and the RV's are packed in. A good amount of full timers, although I don't see how they can justify the x3 rent. Most sites seem to be tight pull throughs, and mine was level, but I noted some that were not. Wifi was adequate for general surfing. Basic cable included. This place seems a bit run down. The dog park area had a 45 gallon trash bin overflowing with dog shit. Doubt it had been emptied in weeks. read more

We had a blast last year. This year many things irritated us: 1) the drive in is so irritating as some people race to the end to merge. To the entry is very stressful. 2) we didn't notice any changes from last year with regards to the lights 3) the music was a little TOO rocked-out 4) in spite of the fact we kept catching up to all the cars on the turns, these guys with airplane landing flashlights kept motioning and yelling at me to keep up with the car ahead of me. So yes, I had 6 car lengths half way through, and we then had to sit and wait at the turns. Aren't there more value added things they could be doing? Like advising the family riding on top of the mini van windshield that maybe that wasn't safe? 5) having to hear TWICE during our visit an infomercial from Fox TV sponsors that we should stop on for s'mores and Carmel corn at the end. Enough already! I want music with the lights not talk. We waited over an hour on the public roads to get in. We all agreed to give it a rest next year. read more

A little late to review but I still am very unsatisfied with my stay in October 2016. My family towed our camper from Massachusetts for a friend's wedding in Nashville and we wanted to make a week of it. We made our reservations and paid in season rates because they're in-season rates last through October 31st. Upon arrival we found that no features of the campground were open. None of the in-season features were operational during the time we paid in-season rates. The pool was closed, well it wasn't covered and the filter was still on, but the gate was locked. It was 95 outside and sunny but we were unable to cool off in the pool. The store had limited hours and offered very little. The bounce castle was not inflated. There was no activities for the my daughter. Suffice to say we paid too much for a parking spot with power. read more

Park was great for a young child, 12 and under. 12 may be pushing it a little. WIFI was terrible and the extended residents concurred. Unfortunately, Verizon sucks here too but T-MOBILE and Sprint was good. They have to do something about the WIFI here if people are expecting it. All the campgrounds appear to be linked between Two Rivers, the Nashville KOA and this one. This appears to be a really expensive overflow. The Two Rivers definitely is the one you want to be in for live music - the people staying here that worked for the campground were going back and forth through the gates, but would not let others through. And they advertise that they only have one or two spots left, but I can assure you that there are at least 90-100 empty spot here. Pretty disappointed. read more

Have stayed at the Nashville park several times. Always can get in since our travels there aren't during the extremely busy times. The park condition is just average but there are an adequate selection of sizes to accommodate most large rigs. One convenience is the medium pull through sites have a space next them for your vehicle. The most important part for us is the office staff. They go out of their way to make you happy. I was trying to get back from Phoenix through Nashville then north to Michigan. Weather was bad and I was going to change my dates I left. The ladies in the office allowed me to shift my stay As we were traveling north from Baton Rouge to Memphis our Yorkiepoo became ill. We stayed at Memphis that night and Yorkiepoo became sicker. We were on our way to the Nashville Rv park so we called the office and told them about our dog. When I arrived to check in, the office group gave me information on a vet with hours and directions. We made to the vet and she started IVs to restart the kidneys. The treatments lasted over 5 days and the staff allowed me to extend my stay in the same campsite. Great office staff. read more

Have been to other jellystone and was not impressed with this one. Wood is stupid expensive 10 a bundle. Our campsite did not have a firepit...how can you camp with no campfire. The hot rod ice cream shop and the pizza place was closed due to a fire. Just seemed like the place was unorganized. read more

Yogi Bear was sold to Nashville RV Resort After years of traveling and camping this is the worst experience to date with customer service. We arrived at the newly purchased campground on 10/23/19 and the campground water went off on the 24th for about 11 hours. When it came on it was muddy water until Saturday the 26th. We had clear water for two hours and took showers once in three days. The lady in the office said they have done everything they can and to run the water. I explained that the water had been running for twelve hours and would not clear. I asked her to partially compensate us for the water problem and she said no that it wasn't possible to do that. Not one time did anybody on the staff say they were sorry. Actually they were a little defensive that I was complaining about the problem. The campground was just purchased from Yogi Bear to an independent owner and no one understands what is going on. Do not stay here. They raised the price $20.00 a night and have a 48 hour cancellation policy. Arrive and you are at their mercy. read more

How disappointing! They say they have amazing amenities that's a joke! You pay premium as of April 1st but nothing's up and running. Pools closed, bounce house closed, jumping pillow closed, mining feature closed, playground is a joke and the pictures online must be VERY old! No planned activities for the kids. Ice cream and pizza store only open a few hours on the weekend! Why stay the whole week? There was no mention of it being the "off season" during "peak season" In addition there was no mention upon booking that the majority of amenities and all activities would not be available for the entirety of our stay. This was incredibly disappointing as we booked this campground s because we have children. We could have stayed anywhere else in Nashville to just park for a much cheaper rate. The only reason that I am giving this park two stars is due to the very sweet lady in the check in booth, she is the best part of this park! The rest was a complete disappointment. To me this was a trashy place, sites that were supposed to be gravel were mostly dirt, our camper was filthy inside and out by the time we left. Sites are right on top of each other. Our site was pretty unleveled, and the picnic table was in terrible condition, and the fire pit had trash in it. I was briefly in the bathroom and it appeared to be clean. Their page didn't reflect everything closed. Upon booking they email you what is actually closed and then refused to refund money only dates. When we reached out to the management, which is by email only, Bill responded in a rude dismissive tone about being busy with other refunds and putting us to the front of the line. The Christmas lights are amazing. At first, we thought $25 was a little high. However, we had 4 people in the car and it took us 40 mins driving 5 MPH to go through the entire thing. We didn't feel rushed and the music selection was great. I think the value to the experience was perfect. I wish we lived closer but we will start to make this a tradition when we visit the grandparents every year!! read more

Dishonest management and not at all like the "family fun" park that is portrayed on their website. I do not recommend this RV park for several reasons. During my stay I saw first hand how old, trashy and unsafe the grounds and children's play areas are. There is broken glass and trash on the playground and the bounce houses are filled with trash and are dangerous. The place could be cleaned up and repaired if they are willing. What cannot be so easily changed is the rotten attitudes of many of the employees, especially the park manager. They may be nice before you check in but that quickly goes away. They will also overcharge you and then suddenly get 'confused' as to what they even charged you and why. I saw this happen with several neighbors and should not have been surprised when it also happened to me. I am convinced the manager may be skimming money from customers, who are mostly retired older folks or tourists who come and go. Renters beware! Ask questions, get a paper statement, and take photos of your meter reading when you check in and out. Or better yet, steer clear of this place! read more

This is our second year camping at Jellystone and we've enjoyed it tremendously both times. This year has been the BEST though because of Ms. Hope, and the amazing daily children's activities and art projects. She really loves working with kids and you can tell! And the kids can tell too. Last year we spent time off site; the kids programs were hit or miss. This year, we forgot to leave the campground. It's been so great and we will be back next year too. Thank you to Hope, Kayla, and all the wonderful staff here for making our vacation so special. :) read more

We have stayed here for several years. It's slowly going down hill from what it used to be. Less activities for the kids and the front desk staff always seems to be bothered when we go in the office. One thing that gets me is they cry about this 5.5 mph speed limit and then the staff screams around on golf carts at full speed. We may start checking out the two campgrounds that are next door. read more

We have stayed here a few times. The place is a pretty nice overall. They have fantastic entertainment for kids, pool, fire truck rides, hay rides, lots of inflatable play structures. The price is a bit high for the value received, but if you are taking children camping they will love it. read more

I put 1 because I couldn't put a zero. This is a poor excuse for a yogi bear park. The activities stink, the place is dirty, the staff is smug and rude, I want my money back to go to a real campground and they said no, no electric, the pool is closed and they charged 15 for an early check in fee. This place is a complete dump. The campsites are on top of each other and I could just scream right now. read more
