My first review was a wild, beyond anyone's imagination and even precious recount of my experience with this team at Nashville Transfer over several months of working together on my friends 20,000sf mansion. You could say we moved a mountain together. Then my family bought a house and needed movers. They were the first I called. With their level of excellence I didn't actually think I could afford them. Turns out their fees are MOST affordable! They moved our treasures with gentleness and speed! 10 hours of work without one complaint. Always smiles. It was a JOY. I mean, if moving can be a joy...?!!! The hey laid the rigs before placing furniture. They wrapped nearly everything which was way over n above!!! And they setup the beds!!! I've had movers just toss everything everywhere and you're left sleeping on the floor the first night!!! So I'm a HAPPY customer. The guys: Herbert, David, Douglas and Frienddric (though I called him Fredrick for months and don't know how to spell his name) sorry man! I'll tell you one more thing if you're considering hiring them. Maybe for kindness sake have drinks and snacks for them...we like to make SURE to feed them lunch. Keeps things moving so smoothly. I had to split my move in two. Nashville Transfer was recommended and I am so glad they were. Herbert, Frederic, and Douglas did the first move. Herbert and David did the second. They moved items from multiple locations, and were patient, courteous, professional, careful and efficient. I highly recommend this company. This was hands down the worst pack and load move i have ever done. Take it from me and the pictures attached. I had a lot a furniture arrived broken or ruine and no response from Charles the owner. In addition , he had come to my house prior and new exactly what was being shipped and assured me his team would pack and wrap professionally. It was not even close. My couch which i had stressed was very expensive was not even wrapped with anything but moving Saran Wrap basically. No blankets, even though we supplied some And said use on the couch, but also Charles Saw everything priori and should have known if we needed and let me know cost. He did not. When it was unloaded off the truck most of the Plastic wrap was off and the couch was ripped and covered in grease from the truck. In addition, he only needed to pack up the kitchen in boxes, his guys literally wrapped small plastic spoons in 4/5 sheets of paper while wrapping crystal dishes in nothing. I paid for the paper of course so it was clear they tried to use as much as possible, yet still didn't even wrap properly. They loaded the truck with boxes marked "heavy" on top of boxes marked fragile. As such amongst other things my computer printer was broken, While i appreciate the Actual guys moving and their hard work with such a physical job the professionalism and the experience of how to properly pack comes from the top. I tried to reach out to Charles, he responded once on the day of my move as i told him the guys didn't handle everything well, the bill was confusing and i wanted a copy to review as we originally agreed on 3 guys and 5 showed up (two i have photos of standing around) but i couldn't distinguish how they charged as the bill was hand written scribble and interesting math. He still hasn't provided. The icing on the cake was that when the furniture arrived it was in terrible shape. The truck was not properly loaded and the major furniture pieces not wrapped. Charles assured me his guys would do a great job but it was an epic fail. A move shouldn't result in your main piece of furpniture being totally messed up needing to Be reupholstered. Horrible company. Worst movers I have ever had to deal with. They were late the day of the move. Charles sent an extra guy since it was suppose to rain but failed to tell me he was charging me for the extra guy (who got lost and was even later than the truck to the job) None of my furniture was wrapped but I was charged for the roll. His crew broke my treadmill, my sofa and scratched a piece of art. Multiple calls to Charles went unreturned. The one message that he did leave stated that his guys were not responsible for wrapping my belongings, that I was supposed to wrap them! He actually had one of his employees call me back and try to deal with my complaints. When I couldn't get any resolution trying to deal with him directly, I filed a complaint with BBB. Charles feels he provided excellent service and refuses to make good on the damages. The BBB closed the complaint. Small claims court it will be! read more

I hired Nashville Transfer LLC because of a referral. Charles Martin was very nice and quoted me a price. The movers were local from DIckson. Worked hard but I have wedding Rings missing along with other jewelry that meant a lot to me!!! From a double locked wardrobe case! Lock busted open. Chareles sent a 26 ft truck and said it would work! 2500 square feet with two car garage and tool room! No way and so he sent a small truck also! Still didn't and called him over and over again! Disaster!!! The supervisor Eddie's and myself told him that this wasn't big enough to carry my house to Al. The appliances are dented and scratched! The couch legs are broken off and under lining ripped off! My antique newly restored couch is sitting on a ladder in floor! My furn is broken and scratched every room. The hardwood floors are scratched at both houses!! I have begged Mr. Charles Martin to come and see the damage. He said had sick 95 yr old father in law in Al. I told him prayers and comforting words. Today which in two weeks after this nightmare and no response!! The mover said to the other guy trying to do right..Douglas that "Boss said throw the shit in garage and go"! Stop straightening the boxes! I called Eddie the supervisor and he said that he quit the place! But would help me get the insurance information to report the damage! He has ghosted me also! What a set up's . Never would I have hired them if I knew then what I know now! And he sent the bill it wasn't what he quoted and somehow this was my fault for the job he never looked at! He has been ignoring my request to help with this situation! First and last time I hope! I want my wedding rings back!!! The rest is furniture and do not hire them if you want to keep it!
