No instructions on how to get in, just had to wait with 2 other people until someone came out to catch the door. After that I showed up at the suite and no one ever came. Over two years ago they closed their doors because of COVID. I had several prepaid facials remaining and I asked about a refund and was told they could not refund money but would reopen soon. After multiply times trying to contact them I was told they would open in a few months, then a few months later I would call they would say they couldn't because one of their estheticians died from COVID and other lies. When everything else opened up and things were back to normal I contacted them again and they still didn't open. I was contacted by a previous employee saying they weren't there anymore and none of the things they told me were true but she wasn't refunding money to clients and the location was closed and empty. Very disappointing since I went there and had such good facials but they really ripped me off by not refunding money for services they never planned on giving. read more

Updating my review to one star. Nastran refuses to work with their clients or refund their clients who paid for full services before the pandemic began. I have sent emails and called their business. Only response I've received is that they are still closed for business and will be rescheduling appointments soon. This same communication has been the same for over a year now and I've yet to receive any service or refund. I will be reporting this business to the Better Business Bureau and I recommend any others who are in this same situation to do the same. read more

I had $200+ credit/gift card at Nastran prior to Covid and figured that they'd reopen when things were safe and I'd be able to use them. Turns out, they never reopened the years after (not even sure if they are now), even when other places were opening back up. I had emailed and called in the past with no luck. At this point, it feels like the owner planned this to pocket probably thousands from clients that had spent money beforehand to spend later. It's a shame that you don't feel guilty not reimbursing people in a fair manner when most people's financial standings have been worse than ever with this over inflated economy we are living in. My aesthetician is Brooke. She is gentle, meticulous and knowledgeable. Most important is what results am I seeing. Smooooooth silky skin. Before Covid happened, I use to go to Nastran to get my facials done. I paid in advance for the facial services for my mom and me. Later when Covid happened she closed her business temporarily I totally understood her situation, now after she opened I emailed her to refund my mother and my money, but they keep on selling me their skincare crème. My skin is highly sensitive and I have tried her products and it gave me breakouts. She has not honored her commitment nor has she refunded my money. I would highly encourage everyone - to go to other skin care businesses in Citrus Heights or Orangevale or Sacramento but not Nastran Skincare. What does this business stand for - doesn't even have integrity and basic ethics to honor its clients. If you are unable to provide the services that you took money for, return the money to your clients. if they don't want to buy your skincare crème then refund the money. As you work hard, your clients did too and they trusted you with their money that you will provide them services but what are you doing to them? I have old acne scars that have been through multiple facials around Southern California and faded some but since coming here the past few weeks they have definitely faded. It's unfortunate that COVID has caused a lot of businesses to close down or become inoperable. I understand that a business may be in hardship due to the pandemic but what I'm very upset with is that I had pre paid for services and have not been able to redeem those prepaid services. Everything I reach out to Nastran, I am told I could use my credit towards the products which I have told Nastran many times that her product does not work for my skin for daily use and have already tried them. I had paid for 6 sessions in advance for microdermabrasion with the hydro facial combo and have asked for a refund but was told per their policy they do not issue refunds. We're talking about hundreds of dollars and had I knew they're not willing to be flexible with the policy due to the pandemic as with customers who are force to be flexible with the shop not running and providing the promised services, I would have gone elsewhere. I am very disappointed with how Nastran has taking upon herself to run this business as it is well over a year and other similar businesses have been up and running yet I'm still waiting to redeem my services with Nastran. I know of other unhappy customers for the same reason. I hope Nastran will figure something out sooner than later. Very unprofessional and worse experience!! I am never going back to this place again. I did have a facial appointment today at 5pm and I had to run all the way long to make it to the appointment on time. When I reached no one was there to open the door nor answer the call. After waiting for 10mins then a lady came in and took me inside wondering if they had any appointments left today. She then called aesthetician and let me know that she is out for today and cant make it for the appointment today. She keeps telling me that there is some issue with the system which I don't think so because I got the confirmation through a text message once I booked the appointment on their website. I found Nastran skin care through Groupon. I purchased the 3 microdermabrasion treatments + hydrating facials. I have never had a microderm or a facial before so I did not know what to expect. Upon walking in I was embraced by the peaceful atmosphere, and a sense of calmness instantly surrounded me. My esthetician was Hayley and she is the best! She is very gentle and took good care of my skin. Her work is very thorough, and she was very informative about all the products and treatments she was giving my skin. She is really sweet and has a very calming aura. I have gone to her for all three sessions. I enjoyed the conversations I've had with her, and she offered me great suggestions and tips for my skin. Since going to Nastran Skin Care I have seen a huge improvement in my skin. The microderm treatments have really helped with any active acne on my face as well as the scarring. I am so thankful that I found Nastran Skin Care, and so thankful to have met Hayley who calmed all my apprehensions when it comes to having someone work on your face. I was so excited to treat myself to a facial. I usually get facials regularly, but my usually place isn't what I need anymore so I was looking to find a new place to go regularly. I bought a groupon because it's a great way to try many different places before settling in somewhere as a regular. I had my appointment booked but they needed to reschedule due to a staffing change that would put me past my groupon expiration. They said it was fine and that I'd still be able to use it. On the day of my appointment I knew I was going to be a few moments late so I called as soon as I knew (about ten minutes before my appointment time) and got voicemail. Left a voicemail. Drove all the way to the studio and when I got there no one was there and the door was locked. I called and left another voicemail. I checked and confirmed I had the right day and time. I felt so confused! Now that the groupon is expired and I can't get a refund. What a waste! read more

I had an amazing oxygen facial from Emily. Making an apt online was easy - just have your credit card handy to reserve the appt. Finding this place was probably the toughest part. If you plan to go before October 4th (they're moving), turn onto Bridge Street from Fair Oaks and there should be a parking lot to the left. I ended up kinda hiking through Marshall Building to Rice building where they're located. Emily was sweet and knowledgeable about treatments recommended for my skin concerns. The facial included some light upper body massage :D I also loved that a lot of the décolleté area was included as part of the facial - I worry about my neck aging since a lot of estheticians don't normally treat my neck with my face. My acne cleared up within a few days, and I was glowing for my anniversary 3 days later. Their prices seemed pretty steep, so I'm hoping to take advantage of their specials in the future. read more

She also told me that the triple lift hydrocurrent is a great add-on....usually $75, but since it was my first time it was only $55 so I decided to treat myself and get it done as well. Melissa just hooked me UP!!! For first time clients, she offers a complimentary treatment. I came in for an oxygen facial and she offered a free radio frequency treatment- which is super generous and helps tighten and tone skin! I love this but opted for the UV since I've not tried that before. Amazing! The oxygen facial left me feeling sooo hydrated and youthful. My skin is incredibly soft and all the products used are organic with simple, effective ingredients! I'm usually leery of sunblock since it's been so heavy feeling on my skin. She applied their Nastran brand and it's surprisingly light - she even managed to apply it without clumping or streaking it on my skin. Melissa was super easy to talk to and connect with. She has a gentle touch and really comfortable to converse with during treatment. I highly recommend! Very poor business practices and customer service from Nastran, and husband. This is very unfortunate as Nastran is highly skilled and I received one of the best facials I have ever had from her. But given my experience, I will never return: --I called to confirm my appointment when I received notice from the online scheduler, and asked to purchase one of her products which worked terrifically for me. --The afternoon before my appointment (less than 24 hours), I received an email mistakenly canceling my appointment. --I called the number, but the voicemail box was full. --I was downtown, so I walked over to her office (on Thursday when she is supposed to be open) and no one was there. I left a note asking her to call me regarding the incorrect appointment cancellation. --Website design /scheduler is terrible, with no way to email her office back. I never received a reply to my phone call or note confirming my appointment and asking to buy a product. At the very least, Nastran, or husband, should have called to apologize for their mistake, and reschedule my facial pronto. Nothing. --Nastran's hours are extremely limited--Thursday and Friday 6am-2pm for appointments. I work full time, so this is hardly convenient. How hard does a client have to work to get Nastran's services? Does she want good loyal clients or not?? Very disappointing. All this could have been resolved with a simple & prompt follow up phone call. I hope my review helps to prevent other people from going through the hassle of what I experienced. read more
