There's a special, quiet peace when connecting with a "loving teacher". And by the way,  It'd be (so) easy to instead frame Nat as a "great" teacher.  But there are, perhaps, a "large enough" number of those... at least, it seems a larger category than that of the former. Well, Nat is *indeed* "great" in so many tangible and intangible ways.  But it's not his "doing" (his teaching) that makes his yoga into Practice, and his classes into Shala.  It's his *being*: his immensely wise, gently-loving Being.  There's a quiet with Nat (and often, within us, all there together) "even" when singing, sweating, and stretching; a Quiet that seems to give *us* permission to deepen into our own wells, to call both "In", and "Out", and to *rest*. And (just maybe) be yoked to some small very Good thing.  But if all that doesn't get (and send) you, Nat's wry humor surely will.  Which I guess begs the question:  What does a "great" teacher teach *with*?  Well, that's easy. With humor... and with silence.  With music... and (?) something(s) I can barely even name.  It's all seva, to Nat, all part of a softly held, (strongly dedicated) intent to help see us shine.
