Just saw the Vegas Show at the Saxe Theatre inside the Miracle Mile. It's a 1 1/2 show in a small to medium venue. It basically showcases the history of Las Vegas through dancing and singing, sprinkled with a hula hoop act which was actually very entertaining, and a duo acrobat act. I would give the live band, background settings, stage production, costumes, and dancers 4 1/2 stars. However, I have to give the singers only 3 1/2 stars. This averages out to an overall 4 stars. If you are looking to be entertained, and it was entertaining, by a reasonably priced show, this is it. read more

Came to see Eddie Griffin. Nice theatre that is small and I don't think you can have a bad seat here. The staff was very nice. Drinks were expensive but strong. Eddie didn't allow any phones in his show so there are no pics of the inside. It's located inside Planet Hollywood and by The Miracle Mile Shops which is a mall. read more

They share bathrooms with the mall, these bathrooms are closely monitored and also kept clean and well stocked . Parking of course is a bit of a bear, I'd normally just go up to the top level but I wasn't driving so it took us an hour to find a space . Enjoyed this small Theater for the first time. There is a lounge area where you can pregame before your show! Basic selections but the bar service was good! When they announce that seating for tonight's show has now begun,well you have to climb three flights of stairs to get to the showroom. Once inside you will find an intimate theater space. My husband and I Went To See The Eddie Griffin Comedy Show On 12/26/25. Everyone was instructed to put their cellphones in a locked bag, because they did want people taking pictures (understandable). This young boy made my husband & I put our meta prescription glasses in a locked bag as well. I tried explaining to him, the camera on the glasses doesn't work when our phones are turned off & they are prescription glasses & we can't see without our glasses. He told us that we don't need to see the show, we can just listen or we could leave. I spent a total of $216.46 for our tickes. The boy's name is "Trey" he looks to be in his early 20's. This was one of the worst experiences I ever had in Las Vegas. I will never spend my money to see Eddie Griffin again. I'll be as honest as possible. Something's I'll leave out as a courtesy to ticket holders of any shows. Firstly, this theatre is easy to access in the PH mall area. The ticket office is located directly in front of the theater and the waiting area is the bar attached to the theater. All drinks and libations must be purchased at that bar only, no outside food or drinks permitted, additionally, no recording or photos inside. The seats are located above the bar, via a slight winding staircase. Once in the theater, row seating can be easily found. The seats are rather small and tight. If the house is packed, be prepared to be rather close to the person next to you. Once the show is over, you have to leave via the winding staircase which becomes rather congested, so be prepared to wait a few. I went to see a comedy show. 0/10- would never recommend. Comedy is subjective. I guess I'm turning rather prudish, I don't delight in the harm of others being it in word or deed. I didn't fully enjoy the show, the seats, or the atmosphere. I gave 2 stars because it doesn't appear any updated renovations to the theater have ever been completed. If I spend near 100 to see any Tudor of entertainment, I have expectations about what the setting should entail. read more

I came to the Saxe Theatre to see Vegas! the Show another time. I purchased my tickets online and only needed to stop and pick up the actual ticket before the show was to start. After dinner, I walked to the theatre and the house was just being opened. There are two levels of stairs to go up to get to the theatre entrance. For those that have mobility issues, they have an elevator which can be used. The main seating area is a normal pie shaped affair with steps going down to the rows. There is additional seating in back beyond the walkway on which you enter and going upward and angled to the left. I had a comfortable seat as I was in the second row in a place where there are no seats in the first row except for two on each side of the center section. I would recommend that people get seats farther back as it's not a large venue and you can see without looking up. Since I had been there before, this was not a problem for me and there isn't that much going on above. read more

Saw Nathan burton comedy show. Some really cool delusions we ever saw. He was funny too. Extremely cheap for the vip tickets. We just spent around $20 for VIP reservation. Super worth for the price. Theatre itself is cool from outside but 2 level of narrow stairs to reach the theatre is something can be improved. Staff allowed us to go with out Fat Tuesday drinks too. It's Show Time in Vegas! We're not new to this venue, this was our third time to come back to watch a show at the Saxe Theater. The theater is a nice intimate venue... it's not very big and there's not a bad seat in the house. We watched the following shows here: * Nathan Burton Comedy Magic Show (Dec 2012) - Nathan Burton is a veteran Las Vegas performer who's also achieved nationwide fame for his performances (once upon a time) on America's Got Talent and The Entertainer... this is a family-friendly show. * VEGAS! The Show! (April 2014 and May 2019) - both times were complimentary show tickets from our timeshare. The Saxe Theater is located inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino. There is a bar and lounge on the ground level as you step inside the theater, you can purchase drinks here before heading upstairs to watch your show. The stage is upstairs, maybe 4 or 5 short flights of steps to get to the theater level. The box office is right in front of this venue. You may also purchase tickets for any show here from the V Theater box office (and vice versa). Both theaters are owned and operated by Las Vegas show producer, David Saxe. Parking: the closest entrance inside the parking garage to the theater would be entering from the doors next to the Elara By Hilton Grand Vacations. We took a couple of days to visit Vegas, and purchased tickets form this venue for the Las Vegas comedy show. The tickets were not expensive, and thought it would be cool to see up and coming comics. The location of this venue was horrible, they managed to convert some dank, dark space with a few chairs and a beat up stage, into a space they thought it would work. The service was even worse, there was none, I purchased two drink tickets and never received them or was able to ask for them, as this upstairs bar we found ourselves in, did not offer or have staff after the show to service. There were zero staffers or signs to point/direct/inform there customers on what, and where to go, it felt like one of those halls of mirrors that you are confused on where to go? the only bright spot the two comics for the hour show showed up. I have emailed the venue twice, one email is bad, and have called to ask for a refund on my drinks. I would say keep the money in your pocket on this one. Super disappointing and even worse , the comics trying to make a go of it, may never really be seen due to this horrible venue. read more

Came to the Saxe theater to the Vegas Variety show with my relatives from New Jersey and Scotland. The theater is odd shaped but has good views from almost every seat. The exception are the row of seats directly behind a pillar. The seats are a little older but comfortable, theater style with cup holders for drinks. Great great show. Live 10 piece band , singers, dancers, and specialty acts. What a show 10 stars. A must see for all especially family. read more

The theater & not the shows ... being reviewed. The staff & customer service/ushers were friendly, and were knowledgeable in doing their job. I was a bit disappointed by the cattle drive of less than 15 min before the show began trying to get over to the elevator at the same time vip pack of people was trying to go up the stairs. It made for some jostling that could have been prevented. The initial instructions I was given is we would go up & then each it go be seated. ..but it was mass pack mentality. Drinks were $14 (pre purchased souvenir cup) for liquor, $9 for a 20 oz coke, and $3 for just over 16 oz of water. Bartender & cocktail waitresses were friendly. The sitting area near the stairs is limited, but seems to be spaces around the bar for VIP, otherwise standing in line seems to be common. read more

The show, Brick House, appears amazing. The sound is great, the production is fantastic. HOWEVER... This review is about the theater and, specifically, the seats. They are tiny and incredibly low to the floor. Seriously, I think they are children's seats. There is no legroom. I had a seat on the end, so I was able to stick one leg out. The other, though, is just as arthritic, and I was in terrible pain, just two songs in. The guy sitting next to me was a big guy, so he spilled over into my seat. I was leaning to one side, putting strain on my back, heating up and sweating where his body was pressed against mine, feeling a cramp in my leg coming on... And decided to leave. Yes, I know I probably could have asked to be moved to somewhere where there was some legroom, but the whole thing had me in such a foul mood, I decided to leave. I don't need to be the next male Karen on YouTube, should they have said no. read more

When we decided to catch a same day discounted show at TIX4Tonight ticket booth - we were asked what kind of show we wanted to see. It was Monday and a couple of shows were dark. How about a variety show they asked? How about Vegas the Show? I said sounded familiar and maybe I'd already seen it. Playing at the Saxe at Planet Hollywood. Long story short, we said yes. We redeemed our voucher earlier in the day at the Saxe box office, and came back to the Saxe at 6:45pm for the 7pm show that started promptly. The curtain raised and immediately we looked at each other and said we've seen this show before!!! It was good the second time around as we didn't remember everything from the first show. We sat off to the side in row Q, seats 101 & 102. Partially obscured on the right but not enough to deter from enjoying the show. A small venue. No outside food or drink. read more

This theater is a smaller Vegas theater but accommodates the shows that play there very well. The seats are comfortable and they even sell drinks and food for the audience members to enjoy while watching the shows. One of the downside to this theater is that there's a lot of stairs to climb. I was okay with it but I can see someone who may not be fit struggle with the stairs. All in all, I enjoyed watching Nathan Burton here! read more

Who would have thought that I would get a MUCH better deal BOOKING A SHOW DIRECTLY WITH THE BOX OFFICE vs. a "save u money" site! But sure enough when I called Vegas.com and the extra friendly employee over the phone mentioned that the box office often gives AAA, AARP, VETERAN and other discounts when you book ( you just have to ask) I was compelled to hang up and try! As the ol' proverb says..."A closed mouth don't get Fed" so I simply asked Stephen ( a ticket employee at the box office) if there were any discounts I could receive? Not to throw this very helpful young man under the bus....all I can say is he dug deep, did some incredible computer magic and saved me some nice cash! Cha Ching!! And I'm still thoroughly surprised TO NO END that the box office actually had a better deal than the sites!!! I've been to SO many Vegas shows over the years and besides Free Tickets offered by a promoter (to make up for a crappy show) I have NEVER had such a pleasant and **Money Saving Experience** dealing directly with the Box Office!!! Long story short, this may NOT be the Norm....And I currently don't see any Pigs flying around me! The seats aren't very comfortable and are not stadium enough in setup so it's hard to see over the heads in front of you. It's really tight seating in general too, so even though there are cocktail waitresses, if you aren't on an aisle, forget it. I intended to order drinks but couldn't because there was no time either. They don't let you in until 15 minutes before the show, and it starts right on time. They do this whole huge push to sell you stuff too, which I hate. They force you to take a photo at the beginning so they can try to sell it to you. We tried to refuse and they basically wouldn't let us by until we did. "It's part of the show!" the usher yells. So this review is strictly for the theatre. I will be honest.... I loved the show I went to (Vegas). The theatre though has issues. So, this is in the Miracle Mile Shops. Apparently you can get your seats with vouchers or coupons at this box off or the other one located in the shops. You get a seat so you dont have to worry about standing in line. The bar is when you come in. It was slow and didnt have adequate staffing. Also people seemed confused on how to go to the theatre. There is 2 flights of steps up. There is an elevator but it is outside and not well marked. The staff is very strict about outside drinks. I was worried because I had a cup but they were nice about that. The theatre is kind of dingy and old, but that is ok. The seats are terrible. They have decent legroom but are very narrow and the arms dont move. I was very uncomfortable which made it hard to watch the show. I am a large woman, but I wanted others to see this so they know if they are larger as well. I will probably not go back to this venue which is unfortunate because I saw other shows I would want to see. read more

Vegas The Show was Awesome!!! The music, show, outfits, singers, dancers, juggler, even the guy with Hula hoops did great!!! The three brothers stole part of show dancing and acting crazy. But the young lady being lead singer has one of the most powerful voices I have ever heard in my life. Do not do the dinner and show combo!!! If it sounds to good to be true it's because it is....It's not really a show for kids (lots of skin shown). This is a Military Friendly location. read more

The Saxe Theater is located inside Planet Hollywood Towers, specifically Miracle Mile Shops. If you park or valet in the parking structure, it will be on the left side as you enter from the garage entrance on the 3rd floor. Unless you are totally clueless, you can clearly see the Saxe Theater in neon lights without having to trouble the Information Desk for directions :p I was there tonight for the Tickets for Yelper Theater Night for the Vegas, The Show. The theater is not too large, and built with stadium seating, so unless you are really short or sitting behind someone really tall, you will have a good view of the stage. They also offer beverage services inside the theater, just like most if not all the Vegas shows. The only complaint I have is the tall glasses they serve you the sodas in, which the people sitting next to me ordered, and of course it doesn't fit very well in those one-size fits most cup holders on the seats, and it spilled as people were walking past to get to the seats towards the middle. Service was good. The attendant quickly cleaned up the spilled beverage and gave the patron a replacement free of charge. Vegas, The Show, was a really good show. I am not sure how much it normally costs, since it was free for the Yelpers that atteneded the event, but the other theater goers all thought it was worth the investment. The singing and magic show was the highlight for me. The dancers were also very good and in excellent physical shape. And the twins that performed the tap dancing did a great job (I know someone who would really appreciate that portion of the entertainment). We had a great time seeing Nathan Burton. It's a nice small venue with reasonable prices. The seats are a little worn but at least you know people actually go there. Take the elevator if you can't walk more than a flight it's about 5 flights. The drinks are pricey but it is the strip so. I'll definitely go again I also saw Popvich in the V theatre . I give it a 4 cuz it has a weird floor plan. read more

Same theatre is very clean and the staff are really friendly.. we went to see VEGAS THE SHOW which was really cool to see.. it's pretty much a show about how Vegas use to be back in the day.. lots of singing, dancing and sexy girls and of course men.. If I could give no stars I would. I don't know where to begin but I will start with the horrible customer service. The manager Tatiana was extremely rude and condescending. We purchased tickets and called to validate and reserve our seats. We were told that they were sold out for the show and we would have to purchase a $9 upgrade per ticket for "vip" seating. We agreed to upgrade each ticket and then were told that they did not have 3 seats together and our party would have to be separated. They said that two people would sit together in one row and the other person would be sitting right behind the other two. I reluctantly agreed and purchased the upgraded tickets. When we arrived we were told that two people would be sitting on one side of the auditorium and the other person would sit on the other side. The person that was to sit by them self was given a random chair that was not part of any real row and stuck right next to the sound booth. I asked to speak with a manager and advised that our seating arrangement was not explained to us this way. The manager told me unfortunately that it was too bad and it was a sold out show. She said that they put the chair in the makeshift row so that I would have a seat for the sold out show. Overall this was a horrible experience for me and my family. I will not be coming back to this venue for any future shows. I would rather spend my hard earned money somewhere it is appreciated and with an organization that hires people with people skills. read more

I loved the shows I saw here, don't get me wrong. I'm giving the THEATER this rating. Sure it's nice that it's small enough that there isn't a bad seat. I like intimate theaters and appreciate the size of this one. Acoustics is not bad. If it wasn't for VIP seats, I saw that general admission gets to stand around for a long time until right before showtime. Wear comfy shoes if you really want to pick first or come right before showtime and walk right in. Still VIP means that I should sit in the middle next time unless I want to stand up the 6 friggin times for general admission or have to pass people drinks (theres a bar downstairs...why can't people buy drinks and come upstairs?). It'll do and is okay to put up with minor tidbits because I thought the shows I've seen here, Steve Wyrick and Vegas! The Show were both good (and can't beat that I got in for free!) read more

I've seen two shows at the Saxe Theater, both of them being magic shows. I won't comment on the shows, since this review is of the theater itself. Saxe is located in the Miracle Mile Shops, not too far from the parking garage. However, if you're coming from the casino side of PH you have quite a hike ahead of you. I think Saxe does a good job of offering family friendly options for people traveling to Las Vegas with kids and looking for a show to see. Both magic shows I saw here were very kid-friendly. However, the theater does still have cocktail waitresses coming through to serve drinks and there is a bar connected to the theater. The only reason I will not give 5 stars is because of the staircase you must march up and down to get in and out of the theater. I'm young and don't mind it, but I could see how it would be an issue for older people or people with young children. I'm sure there must be a elevator somewhere, but still the staircase is just silly. The inside of the theater is small, no big crowds here, but it makes the audience much more involved with the acts. This is not somewhere you should come expecting the glitz and glamor of David Copperfield or Cirque du Soleil. Hopefully people realize that. The prices match the value of the shows as well, so you won't be spending too much cash here either. read more

I saw Zen Magic here, which was an odd, but interesting little show. As others have said here, it is pretty entertaining. I laughed when I read "the musak was straight out of a JRPG," because that's exactly what my husband said as we were watching this show. I loved seeing the show in this theater, there wasn't a bad seat in the house. There are a few problems though worth mentioning: It is theater style seating (stadium) and waitresses come around and take drink orders. If someone orders something in your row, everyone has to pass them their drinks. So stupid. General Admission literally has to wait outside the whole time until showtime. They do not let people in early, or they didn't that day. We had waited in line for ages before this show at the M Buffet, and having to stand in line for almost an hour here just put me over the top and I wanted to collapse. I almost cried when they finally let us in and we had to walk four flights of stairs. Normally I'm fine with stairs, but when I've been waiting on my feet for almost three hours that day, my back and feet start to kill me. Anyway, if you have general admission tickets, don't go early if you don't like waiting on your feet a long time. And take the elevator. Otherwise, this theater is very nice. read more

Went to see Vegas the Show at this theatre. The show itself was fun & entertaining. The fact that my friend and I had a few drinks before the show made finding the theater more difficult than it needed to be.. We asked a few people and eventually hobbled our way to the theater entrance. However the staff was friendly, and they kept the drinks flowing. The venue is small compared to what I'm use to but all the better because we're so close to the stage. The only complaint was that the bathroom was 3 floors down by the use of stairs. It was a little bit annoying to say the least. read more

Starting from the beginning. You stand in a line for up to one hour before entering the theatre. If you have general admission seating you walkup 4 long flights of stairs. The seats rank as some of the most physically uncomfortable our party of 4 ever sat in. This doesn't include the attempts to upsell you on better seats, prepaid drinks, photos..etc. The final insult is when they request your phone number! Avoid the theatre. Rude box office and they are liars! They want you to upgrade to VIP if they know you have an explorer or Go pass. I literally stood in line and heard the lady tell someone they had plenty of general admission seats for the Vegas the Show 7p showing. However when it was my turn the lady said all they had was VIP which clearly you have to pay an upcharge for. I'm not sure if she was racist or just money hungry but please beware. We had VIP tickets, which meant we had designated seats and we didn't have to wait in line for 1st come 1st serve seating. Traveling with kids, we didn't want to have to wait in line an hour before the show and rush to find a seat with a good view. We saw Nathan Burton; the kids had a great time. read more
