We would highly recommend Property ReVision to anyone looking for a home renovation--large or…read moresmall. We worked with them for our recent basement renovation and are so happy with the results. Jason, our project manager, was a great communicator and very professional. They worked within our budget and were flexible when we wanted to do parts of the project ourselves. Their on-staff carpenters were particularly friendly and great to work with. All of their staff and subs were more than happy to follow COVID safety precautions while doing work in our home.

Our home remodel through Property Revision was an extremely frustrating experience. The proposed…read moreproject was set to be 7 weeks long, it was quasi-complete in 13. The craftsmanship was not up to par and cost $10,000 more than proposed. We had many "add on fees" for items such as - "installation and delivery" (what contractor quotes prices without installation and delivery). Often they had us agree to things verbally without conveying it would change the price (there are laws against this) and then send us a price change agreement weeks later. They seemed very upfront and trustworthy at the onset but quickly turned once the contract was executed and our walls were open (we couldn't back out then). We up against a tight deadline for the birth of our daughter and they did not seem to care. We currently have a hole in our kitchen ceiling from a leaking tub they installed. This is now the 3rd plumbing issue we have during the process with them. Luckily, when the ceiling was cut open, we realized why our in-floor heat wasn't working. They had severed the electrical wires and then electrical taped them back to together and shoved them in the floor (Hint: this isn't code compliant). Our house was always a mess and they used our front porch like a storage locker for their tools and supplies. As my wife and I often joke, they only way they are "Property Brothers of Milwaukee" is if you want Holmes on Homes upset by your choice in contractor. We cannot recommend their services.

I have to agree with everything Don P. (however I have never dealt with Glenn Elmer and can not…read morespeak to his character). I would strongly discourage building with Signature. I bought what was also one of their parade homes. While everything looked good on the surface, all the corners that were cut by all of the now out of business subcontractors are costing me thousands. The list of questionable workmanship is quite long. If you want each part of your house built by the lowest bidder that will not be around when their work falls apart, go with signature. If you want a house that you know will last, do your research and find a reputable builder, you will save money in the long run! I also agree with Don, Tom Schaefer was helpful, but all he could do was provide me the names of manufacturers of the materials and have me pursue claims against them. UPDATE.... Upon being told certain manufacturer warranties were voided because installer did not follow guidelines and by what the rep referred to as just "a bad install for any material" the owners of signature basically told me tough, it's your problem. That is how signature does business..... Do they deserve yours?

Then, one of our realtors introduced us to Glenn Elmer of Signature Homes, and within a week, we were seeking a lot and building the perfect custom dream-home for our family. We closed on that spectacular home five years ago and have never had one doubt about our incredible decision. Our house has been pretty much perfect, and when something has come up, even years later, Signature has sent someone out immediately, taken care of the problem, and even picked up the tab. Not only have we been beyond satisfied, but we've recommended Signature to several friends and colleagues who have also built with Signature and been happy with their choices. We know others who went with other builders and have experienced various problems and been frustrated with a lack of response or assistance from their builders. This was our first custom home, and we would do it again with Signature Homes in a heartbeat!
