After getting my lab results, she incorrectly diagnosed me as "Diabetic" even though it is common practice to have more that 3 high A1C readings before pronouncing that diagnosis. Frankly, she shocked me when she told me I was diabetic. She sent me to see her useless dietician, presumably so she could bill Medicare for these service. I did not authorize the dietician visits, not was I aware that she had to note me as "diabetic" in order for the services to be covered. I had to ask her to delete the diagnosis which I am not sure she ever did. This is not the first time she shocked or scared me. Later, she told me I needed to come in for fluids because my Sodium levels were low. When I rushed down, after cancelling other commitments, she said I did not need fluids after all, to just drink more water. The last straw was when she ordered labs tests that I found out from Quest, were "not medically necessary", and I ended up with a close to $500 bill. I worked with her office staff for 5 months (yes, 5 months!) to get this bill reduced. I never got an answer as to why she ordered 3 tests that were not deemed a medical necessity. One is supposed to sign a waiver when presented with a test or procedure that Medicare may not cover. I was never asked to sign the Medicare waiver. This sounds like malpractice to me. When I called the front office staff they would bounce me from one person to the next, wanting me to give the whole story over and over again. They would put me on hold for 10 or 20 minutes, no problem. The person I was working with, Brianna, was always "busy on another line", or "just stepped out". When I finally did speak with Brianna, she would say that she hadn't gotten around to my issue and to give her another month. She told me that the lab could not send me to collections for a long time. I finally just paid the lab bill to get this resolved and off of my desk. I would not recommend Dr Loomis or her staff or office to anyone looking to have a meaningful relationship with their primary care doctor. If this is how they treat me when I am basically healthy, what kind of care will they give when really needed. Save your time and find a competent, caring doctor.

I had one more prescription for a non controlled substance. To be number ten or eleven in line, is frustrating, counterproductive and insulting. I went to an urgent care, got my script, which my Dr, Dr. Glovaci refused to honor, although I had one more refill. I am going back to CARDIOVASCULAR CARE OF LOS ALAMITOS, where you can ACTUALLY GET THROUGH ON THE PHONE, without the INSULTING SIX HOUR WAIT.

I googled the DR and found DR Loida Constantine to be affiliated with Memorial, so that was a big plus for me. so I scheduled 1st appointment 2nd and 3rd they all had to be canceled due to covid. then finally February 11,2021 we made it to her office. I showed up with all his med records, my court documents that I have conservatorship, anything and everything she needed was in my hand. i provided all of it to the receptionist, she placed it in his chart. when my son and i got called to the room, the RN asked was there a reason we are there. i said yes, my son is an adult now and his pediatrician gave me a list and DR Constantine is on it, so I'm trying to establish a r for him in his adulthood, she said ok. DR Constantine walks in, looks at the first few pages of the court documents and ask what is this? So I explained same thing that I explained to receptionist and RN, she looked at my son and said I don't think I am a good fit for him! I said why? she said you may be more comfortable with a male. I said are you kidding me? Are you saying you are not comfortable with seeing my son? she said well I not sure what you need? i don't think i can help! I responded. WHAT I told you my son can not see his pediatrician anymore he needs an adult DR but its fine, i don't want you as his dr, you where a waste of our time. I will notify dr lee to not ever refer anyone to your cheap apartment looking clinic, and I grabbed all my records and my son and walked out. She is more than just a neurologist or doctor, she truly cares about her patients. You never feel like you are being rushed or that she needs to move on to her next patient. Dr. Yafeh always gives you her undivided attention, listens, and ask questions. I feel very seen and heard, and that is priceless! Having a stroke at age 42 was the scariest thing that has ever happened to me. Dr. Yafeh has been a key factor on my road to recovery. Additionally, the entire office staff at NeuroMedical Group are incredibly helpful and friendly.

Apparently all the reviews about their scheduling/desk staff is correct. I kept trying to use their…read more"hold my place in line" feature when calling in and never get a call back. After a week of this, I finally opted to just sit on hold. Turns out they never have a massive queue, the wait is never more than a few minutes. But the staff is an absolute nightmare. Today I spoke with "Hamza" and he talked really quietly unless he was talking over me (which he did the whole time) and refused to make any changes after I explained I have an Auditory Processing Disorder. He then put me on hold to speak to a colleague, left me on hold for nearly 10 minutes then returned to say I needed to send an email. I don't have an email address for them and when I asked why he couldn't schedule me if he's a scheduling operator is because his colleague said they needed my referral first. I told him I have a PPO and don't need one but I can provide contact for the 3 doctors that made the reco I speak to a neurologist if they need. He said his colleague thought I had an HMO - I asked why he would think that and he didn't answer just said he would schedule me. I asked with who and he gave a name I didn't recognize. I asked him to stop, please because it was clear there'd been some miscommunication. He hadn't even taken my insurance so he'd be scheduling blind AND I was calling to get the availability for a specific neurologist at their location. When he again interrupted and reverted to speaking at an inconsistent pace/volume I stated this clearly wasn't working and asked if he could transfer me to someone else. He said yes, put me back on hold, and then rerouted me to the main menu instead. With no other option I re-entered the queue for scheduling operators only to wait my turn and be hung up on. I have since called back at least 5 times, and tried an alternate number for the office I found online. Every time, I wait in the queue, and then when my turn comes, I'm hung up on. I'm sure Hamza thinks he's hilarious but I will be reporting the behavior to my insurance company, and the ADA at bare minimum. I guarantee this behavior is not limited to his phone interactions and if this is how he treats someone with an APD, I cannot imagine how he treats stroke survivors and those with significant cognitive impairment.
