Make sure to cross check reviews with google before making a decision, because Natick Family Dental is great and I chose them because of all the wonderful reviews I read on google - and I am glad that I did. They are very communicative, responding quickly to emails and questions and are helpful with insurance issues. The hygienists are friendly and thorough. Dr. Bae does my exams and recommended a crown replacement based on what she saw on the X-rays. She was not pushy and patiently explained to me exactly what she was seeing on the X-ray. I decided to move ahead, and they pre-authorized with my insurance and gave me a pre-pay discount, so I knew exactly what I was going to need to pay. She was very patient and gentle throughout the procedure. So far so good with the new crown! I was told by my dentist (not part of this practice) that I should consider having my wisdom teeth pulled. I'm in my 50s and have no problems with my wisdom teeth other than a small cavity in the upper one. I went for a consult at Natich Family Dental and met Dr. Bhalla, their oral surgeon who recommended I have them all pulled. The experience was absolutely horrific. My expectation was either full sedation or at least gas. When I expressed that, I was told "well, this is how we do it." I was led to believe it would be "fine." It was NOT fine! Never should you do a procedure like that on an adult fully awake. I think I left in shock. Covered in sweat, shaking and white as a sheet. I will forever tell everyone I know not to have their wisdom teeth pulled as an adult and if they do, to go full sedation. I also called and sent pictures about a concern I had and Dr. Bhalla couldn't be bothered to call me back. I'm also mad at both my dentist and the surgeon for encouraging me to have them out at all. The top one had a cavity - that's what started it all. I ended up removing 3 perfectly healthy teeth and one that had a small cavity and really just needed a filling. If given all the info and if I could go back in time, I would NEVER have agreed to this course of action. If you are looking for just cleanings this is the perfect dentist's office. They are new, clean and have high tec technology and the front desk staff is very friendly. If you are looking for major work to be done like a crown, be weary especially if you don't have insurance. I purchased their dental package as I didn't have insurance to help with the cost of a crown to be done. While being fitted for the permanent crown, they did not take a mold of my top teeth, just the bottoms. My temp crowns fell out numerous times while waiting for the permanent crown and when it finally arrived, they had to do many adjustments to it to make it fit instead of taking a new mold and sending it back out to make sure it fit correctly. Because of their lack of perp, the permanent crown popped out of my mouth 2 times during the first year and a half of having it (I was eating soft items). Having such bad luck with this dentist, and now being with a new dentist there as the first dentist had left, I switched back to my old dentist to get the permanent crown done correctly as I had lost confidence form my first experience at Natick. My old/current dentist said it was too short and not sized properly confirming my suspicion to begin with. When I reached out to Natick Dental, they referred me to Arnaoldo Santini as they are managed by a corporate company and don't handle issues onsite. He did little to look into my situation and said they will not be refunding any of the costs for it. (I was just asking for them to pay the insurance cost in having it redone, not the entire cost which I paid out of pocket as I did not have insurance, they would still be making money). When I sent him notes from his own dentists at Natick, saying it was too short, he did not look into my case and stopped responding to my emails and calls. This is very unprofessional and discouraging they did not take accountability of their office not sizing it properly to begin with. I asked to be connected with the practice owner Rechana as I wanted a real Doctor to look at the notes and see the issue here and have still not heard from her (she was on vacation when I asked to be connected in August). This has been going on since June 2024 and is very disappointing they won't take any accountability for their shoddy work. My experience with Natick Family Dental was nothing less than horrific. It began in 2021 and the first dentist I was assigned seemed promising, he expressed a philosophy of non-invasive dentistry and I got the impression he was level-headed and trustworthy. He left the practice shortly thereafter. I then am assigned a new dentist who replaces a cracked crown and seems decent, if not all that great of a communicator. She left the practice. Then I am assigned a third--all in the course of two or so years. This was the first red flag. Then when I expressed a need to treat my bruxism and sleep apnea and was looking at an oral appliance as an option, they offered to fit me for one and have one sent to be made. The problem was they were out of network. Therefore, in order to have them do this, a prior authorization for an out of network provider was required by dental insurance. This proved to be challenging as their office seemed to have ongoing difficulties in properly submitting the prior authorization, which involved going back and forth between my dental insurance and their office. This led me to a conversation with Natick Family Dental's office manager, Cindy, who, when discussing submitting a prior authorization as advised by my dental insurance, discouraged me from proceeding with it, expressing that it was a "headache" for her. I was appalled that Cindy had the gall to say this to a patient. I reported this to her boss and somehow, the prior authorization was finally submitted properly to my dental insurance; it was then that I was actually directed by them to a in-network service provider who could provide the oral appliance. Natick Family Dental's office proved to be unwilling to accomodate, even if it meant losing business from a patient. But I stuck with the practice because I did appreciate the current dentist I was seeing and all the dental hygienists/assistants were always kind and personable. This was reassuring. A few months ago, the replacement crown that was put in my mouth less than two years prior by the second dentist I saw had fallen clean off of its post while I was eating--I wasn't anything hard or crunchy food either, but it just popped out. I was flabbergasted and made an appointment to have it promptly replaced. The dentist, while not willing to outright say it, implied that the other dentist who left the practice did an inadequate job. The crown was replaced and I wasn't charged anything extra, which is only expected. Now I am no longer feeling confident with the practice and seriously consider leaving the practice altogether. I had been paying in monthly installments the balance for the original replacement crown. I was down to my remaining balance, called the office, and asked to make a payment which was taken over the phone. Previous payments had been automatically debited but I'd previously asked to halt them. So the payment was processed and then I find there is another charge deducted from my account for the same amount, when there was no longer a balance. That was reversed. It was a pain and another sign that I needed to get out of there. At this point, I'd already found a new dentist and wanted to close this chapter altogether. I got my x-rays send to me and I was on my way. Fast forward one month later. I find another charge deducted from my account. Their billing department never turned off the automatic debit. I couldn't believe it. The next morning I went to my bank to place a stop payment and block from their making any further transactions. I then visit their office and demand that they remove my account information from the records. The woman who I spoke with, and a nearby dental hygienist, both who were familiar from past visits, were kind and empathetic. But then there was Cindy, sitting at the helm: she turns to the woman who's speaking with me and says curtly, "what's the problem?" I turn to her and say, "What's the problem? Your office stole my money. You're Cindy, right? The one who said my prior authorization was a 'headache?' I want no involvement from you, she's taking care of everything. I don't want anything to do with you." You can imagine at this point I am utterly gobsmacked at the incompetence of their billing department for doing this and with my history with the practice, I had enough. Cindy then says, "I am going to call the police." I kid you not. This so-called office manager threatened to waste law enforcement's time to come to their office because she was called out for her unprofessionalism. You can't make this stuff up. While I did raise my voice, I was in no way hostile or threatening, just really upset at all the troubles I faced. The woman who was initially speaking with was kind enough to continue helping me and seemed disapproving of Cindy's behavior, but was understandably limited in expressing that. I received an email confirming reversal and removal of account information. The horror was over. Do not go here. Just trust me. read more

Got a cavity filled a year ago there and went back 6 months later informing the dentist of pain in the same tooth. She just added more filling to the tooth. Went to another dentist and it turned out I have a lesion and an infection and need a root canal. Do not go to this dentist because they will misdiagnose. Also it is impossible to get dental records from them. They refuse to release to another dental practice, which is ridiculous because the only time an individual wants records is so that another dentist can look at them. It's not like I stare at my own teeth X-rays in my leisure time. Really terrible service. read more

I needed a tooth extraction and while setting up the appointment, I explained that I had high anxiety and requested nitro oxide. On the day of the appointment they had no record of my request and had to set up the tank which would not properly adhere to the line so we had to switch exam rooms. Unprofessional. they didn't give me enough nitro oxide so it was a complete waste of $250. During the prep time, the dentist not explain what she was going to do, but rather, spent the whole time trying to sell me on implants. I discourage going there for treatment. read more

I was a new customer and the complimentary supposedly free consultation cost me 160.00. One x-ray cost me an extra 90.00 for a total of 250 just to look at the tooth! They then said they would take pictures and do the procedure on the next visit of a simple small filling that had fallen out and I got charged 541.00 extra and got no pictures taken for future concerns? These people are deceptive and don't put what they are going to do on their receipts. They could have done this all in one visit for 400.00. read more
