Booking an appointment is quick and easy - they never seem too busy to accommodate their existing clients. The staff has always been welcoming and friendly to me. No problems with my insurance - ever. The eye professionals seem to be top notch. They run through the regimen of tests efficiently. The doctor listens carefully to any concerns I have and explains everything quite thoroughly. Contacts are ordered promptly if not in stock and usually arrive within a few days. They are either delivered to my home or the clinic for easy pick-up. Here is my favorite part - I can get in and out in no time. Seriously. It is SO EFFICIENT. The Luxottica website says to "simply" return the glasses to LC. I returned to the shop and I was told that I couldn't drop the glasses for the return because the manager was there. The manager is there only 1 or 2 time a week and I was supposed to call and check if the manager was there. I asked to be called back by the manager, Keyla, but no calls after 2 weeks. The offices are nice…read more However, if you are trying to make glasses or sunglasses that are perhaps not the most straightforward - like aviators with a high base curve, their lab seems to struggle with craftsmanship in making them. I have use these same frames (I have a couple) to make lenses with almost the same prescription with other offices and the results have been great. The sunglasses I received from this office had a noticeable "fishbowl" effect. My other pair with the same exact frames and almost the same prescription were cut and produced very nicely with no problems. What actually bothered me was the response when I raised this concern. They repeatedly said this is due to my prescription and the curve of my frames even as I showed them the much better crafted lenses in my other identical frame - demonstrating it was possible to produce lenses for this frame without the problems that it had. When I asked if they could ask the lab to produce quality similar to the pair I had they basically said no. In other offices, without my even having to make that request, the staff told me they noticed the curve of the lenses and that they would personally call the lab and direct them to ensure the lenses were produced without the fishbowl effect and fitting the curvature of the frames well. Briggs needs to hold its lab to higher standards and to offer that level of advocacy for its customers - it's pretty basic for opticians to do that as they work with their eyeglass labs. Unfortunately that type of response means I will have to switch back to the office I used to go to even though it is in Roswell, 30 minutes away. At least I will get better crafted eyeglasses.

The three previous trips I was told they "are in transit". I also discovered they went to a lab in Mexico which they were encouraged to use. Today, I was informed they were out for delivery and had been shipped the 20th, yesterday. The delivery could be affected by customs. My concerns are: 1- Being told three times previously they were in transit when they had not yet been sent. 2- why wasn't I told they were being assembled in Mexico which could delay arrival? 3- why utilize Mexico when it takes longer especially considering processing through customs? 4- why wasn't the store monitoring the fulfillment instead of my going to the store 4 times and getting false information?
