After a month of my truck being down I pick it up, pull out of the parking lot & immediately start having issues, completely new issues that I was not having before & they are now trying to blame the motor for these issues. Stay away from this shop I would hate to see someone go through & spend the money I have spent with this place.

After…read moreit was diagnosed, the tech told me I needed to have it rebuilt for a cost of $4,253.00 He promised a 24 month and a 24k mile warranty. When the car was delivered back to me it was not shifting properly and the tech said I just needed to drive it a few miles and the computer would relearn. It never did. HE told me to have it towed to VW to have the TCM updated. I did and they told me the TCM was bad but the tech never told me it was bad. VW recommended that I buy one off of e-bay and have it programmed for the car I had thecar towed once again to VW. They programmed the TCM and stated that it was working up to VW specs. VW stated that now the transmission is the problem as it mechanically does not have a Forth gear. Bob's refuses to make this right saying that I voided the warranty by driving the car less that 300 miles since the repairs were done. the tech did look at the car before it went back to VW the Second time and stated that there was no internal damage to the transmission as the fluid looked and good as the day he put it in and that there was no metal in the pan. These people are liars and cheats. I took the car to them to have them tell me what was wrong and all they wanted was my money. BOB'S TRANSMISSIONS stole $4,253.00 from me and I got nothing but trouble from them. RUN RUN like they have the plague

I was previously quoted $5300 for a rebuilt from another place. Blas told me no problem I got you i can do it for $1750. Ok great, he says i need a down payment as I am a small business I can't afford to get the tranny i need atleast $900.(i paid $908) I'll have it ready for you by Tuesday afternoon. Yesterday I go by to see how my car is coming along, the shop is closed, I call, text no answer. As I'm sitting in the parking lot a gentleman named don approaches me he tells that blas has screwed him and he was there to get his money back from him. Apparently blas takes the money and hasn't repair other people's cars from the past whom he promised. Don also told me the tranny that was supposedly rebuilt he took elsewhere who showed him the original GM parts in the tranny. Anyways, I left went to the gas station to get a drink called the palm bay police that was a joke, they were like someone will call you back blah blah blah. I go back to the shop blas is there i told him to get my truck out of your shop, he says oh I did it all. I said no you didn't I'm not stupid. All he did was replace a coolant line. I took my truck to someone else who verified that my tranny was never touched. He was going to charge me $3400 to replace a coolant line!!!!!

We had to be towed back because they failed to properly connect spark plug wires TWICE, which destroyed our catalytic converter! Fast forward and the transmission which is still under warranty has failed again. It has been another 6 weeks of being told they can't get a part. Then a week ago today they told us the part just now came in and our truck will be done by the end of the week. It was not. I called today and was told the exact same story-the part just now came in and our truck will be done by end of the week. When I ask to speak to the owner about this, I was hung up on, then they wouldn't answer the phone. Then when the owner finally did take my call he screamed at me for asking what part was ordered and demanded to know if I was a transmission expert since I wanted to know about parts. I asked because he kept telling us how hard it was to get a part. He then told me there were a lot of customers ahead of me, he didn't have an available lift to put our truck on, and was rude, demeaning and hateful, because I asked what part was ordered. He also told me that he has been in business for 40 years and doesn't need to look a car to diagnose transmission problems or know what parts to order. AVOID THESE GUYS AT ALL COSTS, unless you enjoy overpaying and waiting for weeks upon weeks to be lied to, yelled at, and pay thousands to pay someone else to fix what they "repaired" while paying even more money for a rental car while they hold yours hostage. I have filed complaints with BBB, the Florida Department of Agriculture, and The Florida Consumer Protection Division of the Office of the Attorney General.
