They had lottery and coin counter machines in front part of the store. We found good fruits and snacks in the store. While walking around, we noticed they had a liquor aisle too. We picked a wine from there too. Prices were good for all the products. The staff member at self checkout was super friendly. She helped us with purchasing the wine at a separate register. For rest of the items, she entered a membership code for us that gave us the sale prices on the items we were buying. The checkout process was quick and easy. Overall a really good grocery store evident by their super busy parking lot.

I ordered a rib roast for pickup and was charged for a 21.75 lb roast. When the employee brought it to my car, the vacuum seal on the package was loose and the meat looked brownish-green. I asked if it looked safe, and even he said it looked strange. He helped me put it into a cart and suggested I take it to the meat department for an exchange. When I got there, the meat department first questioned how long I'd had it for the seal to be "loose," then tried convincing me that it was normal and that the packaging never comes fully vacuum sealed. I told them I simply wanted an exchange. The employee seemed irritated but eventually brought out another roast. Then he peeled the sticker off the original roast and placed it onto the new one. I asked whether it was the same weight because the replacement was clearly much smaller. He insisted it was "the exact same thing" since it had the same sticker on it, and told me that if I didn't like it, I could come back tomorrow because customer service was not open today. Got home and the scale reads 19.5lbs (2.25lb over charged). Disappointed in the experience.

Some shops inside have yet to open but the market looks better in terms of set up and layout. The organization is better & the products & produce are better arranged & stocked. The staff seem better, too at being nicer to customers, more smiles. Thankfully it's the location that closest to our place. More and more vendors/shops are opening at the TAWA Gateway and the aesthetics surrounding the plaza is being remodeled to appear more gentrified and a seem more of a relaxed atmosphere.
