Went on a random Thursday afternoon, it was PACKED. Lots of produce, plenty of variety, great selection of snacks. They have fresh seafood and meat but they don't have fry/steam service.

11/22/25 Asian market in a plaza with dedicated parking shared with other businesses featuring competitive prices, friendly staff with a well organized & clean surroundings. Fresh produce & general supermarket items are well stocked & arranged in an organized manner. I needed a few more items to have available for our Airbnb to make it livable & sustainable for the next few months. The prices here are fair. Having gone to Wholedome Choice in Irvine-- their prices can't be beat. At the very least, this is closest & caters more to the Asian community. This is a good find & an alternative to 99 Ranch or Hmart. **** Of note, when I visited, it sure was really cold inside the market, I mean Brrrrr

So this is not the cleanest fanciest Market this is not the modern design or Style this is your very typical low cost bargain produce market the location itself has changed many names this is the latest and they actually seem to be doing really well beware of some not nice customers who picked through strands of vegetables just to get the perfect one and just dump the rotten ones all over the place check out the signs that they post if you do not have any moral values that type of thing all over the place so just be aware of that but older people and bargain shoppers alike love this Market parking can be challenging be careful just be careful. Be sure to pick up some cherries that always seem to be on sale they will scoop it out for you they have a person that stands there and Scoops out the cherries for you because you know there are unruly customers that will pick through those things and Destroy other things so yeah watch out for that

Rainer Cherries at $2.48 per pound!

Global Fresh Market in San Gabriel reminds me of an Asian version of Super King Market! Very affordable quality produce and meats to include specialty international items;therefore, this place is CROWDED! Get here early to avoid crowds? Idk. $1.99 for Rainer Cherries of great quality and Mangosteens at $6.99 per pound are what brought me here! Thank you Kristie Hang as seen on Eater LA , CNN, Yelp Elite for recommending us to this gem of a market. Plenty of Parking and friendly staff. Affordable prices for 2025!

This is an okay Asian market. There is a large parking lot. There is a separate woman's and man's bathroom. It supposed to have fresh vegetables and fruits... but buyers beware. Sometimes, this market sells rotten fruits. The workers in produce department usually removed vegetables from shelves one hour before closing time. So, you can be out of luck looking for vegetables. Today, I noticed the rotten apples were selling at 0.98/lb. What? Yes. Rotten tangerines are also being sold. That's very disappointing. Minus 2 stars.

There is a huge variety of imported Asian goods here! Service was fast and the store was very clean. It was so fun to browse through the aisles to see the many types of unique and tasty snacks, drinks, and other goods such as beauty that this location has. I haven't gotten anything that I disliked from this store as of yet, and will definitely visit again!

    Fresh, quality meat!

Craving homemade food, so I stopped by Global Fresh Market to get ingredients to make soup. Store is very clean and the staff are so very friendly and helpful, love that!! The store is located on a large lot w ample parking. I bought some beef shank, baby bok choy (apparently, its called Shanghai bok choy in this area), tomatoes, green beans, taro, and tamarind paste to make Sinigang (tamarind soup). The beef was very good quality and the vegetables were so fresh. My soup came out delicious!! A lot of the vegetables are slightly priced lower than other supermarkets in the area. Baby bok choy was only $0.98 cents/lb. Overall, highly recommend!! The friendly staff and lower prices are what keeps me coming back here!!

My new favorite Chinese supermarket in SGV. Veggies and meats are fresh. I feel like it's slightly cheaper than other supermarket. I bought the Napa for 28cents per pound. I've never seen it so affordable before. I'd go out of my way to come back here! Highly recommend

The front door from parking lot

The market is very big, full of different kinds of foodstuffs. Prices are very good, many choices. I strongly recommend. Big parking lot.

    Absolutely disgusting

These guys be unloading live fish from trucks parked on a major boulevard into a trash bin and rolling them into the back of the market. They be dropping fish on the sidewalk and street, picking them back up and bringing them to the back of the market. The smell is absolutely disgusting.

They had exactly the same shape and color as the ones I usually bought from Chinese markets, but they were not cooked. Once defrosted, they practically melted into water. Vietnamese markets also sell many kinds of fish by weight. Most of them are good, but you need real experience when buying raw seafood. Otherwise, it is very easy to waste money. Thuan Phat is a typical Vietnamese market in this sense. You can get most of the ingredients a Chinese family needs.
