I loved the variety of ready-to-eat selections, especially the marinated baby squids and marinated beef flanks. There was a huge bakery section next to the hot deli. The pastries here looked fresher and more appealing than other locations I've been to. What makes this location even more unique is the seafood counter offers complimentary steaming of live crabs and lobsters, something I have not seen at any supermarket. It sits in such a fancy-looking plaza, and I noticed a banner claiming Marugame Udon has a spot here. Perfectly convenient to do lunch then grocery shop afterward. Definitely bookmarking this as my favorite 99 Ranch location!

Inside is still the same though, not much updates there. Plenty of parking since this is located in such a huge plaza, so huge in fact that I would rather opt to park here than many of the other plazas within walking distance. So huge that I saw a dude practice basketball here at night without a basketball hoop in sight. Iconic and I hope he's balling out there, wherever he may be. There's security at the front and a good number of cashiers open so despite how crowded it is (at least on a Thursday mid morning), I was checked out quite efficiently. Like many other 99 Ranch, there's a bakery, hot foods area, seafood, butcher, and much more. It's not the cleanest, as I did see some wilted, not the freshest produce and some flies here and there (as well as some of the baked goods looking mushed into bags), but not outwardly awful. The variety isn't as good as I thought it would be, at least in comparison to my home 99 Ranch, but I was able to at least find some giftable chili oil. Not bad for a quick stop, but definitely do some price comparisons since there's lots of Asian markets nearby.

We headed to the back to order sashimi and the guy helping us was super helpful and recommended that we choose the Salmon Sashimi ($32/lb) and the Otoro sashimi ($95). On the way out, we also grabbed the 18pc Mixed Hosomaki and two cookies from The Do Shop (matcha sesame s'mores & ube cookies and cream) since I've been following them on IG forever! Total came out to just under $80 which honestly felt like a steal for the quality. Everything was SO delicious, the sashimi melted like butter and the rolls were super fresh. The cookies were absolutely amazing as well!! Already counting down to our next visit to try more :)

I came around 5pm when I figured most people stop by after work or for dinner but I've been to the other two locations during similar rush-hour periods and they were well stocked with a wide variety. So I think that's the only downside to this location, their limited space. BUT that doesn't take away from the quality or flavor of the sush! I picked up an assortment of tuna, salmon, and mixed rolls. All were fresh and delicious with great rice and good fish portions! I brought these for a party and everyone loved it! Yama is still the go-to spot for "market" sushi!

Cursory look, it appears well organized & clean but today, there was this awful smell when I walked in. It might've been a regional delicacy that they're selling or serving in some stall but I had soon forgotten it when I explored the market. What brought me so much joy is the fact that they sell fresh star apple for $10.99/lb, albeit expensive, but exists HERE!!! I bought a couple to try. I hope I am not gonna be disappointed, but, heck, it was worth a try no matter what. I didn't get to visit all the departments but will definitely return to check it out. I noticed Vietnamese goods, too. I am excited to know that it's about 5 minutes away from our new place! Plus, there's a myriad of places to check out for food & drinks. Please photos & videos of the things that I encountered during this visit. I bought veggies, fish balls, tofu, snacks, etc Great visit. They have many different vendor inside the market itself that are now closed at 8 pm. Will definitely look into it next time.

We called the market and asked for return but they told us they cannot because we don't have the receipt even though we have the credit card transaction as a proof. You wouldn't want to eat bugs and waste money since they refuse to give refund. It was $14.99 from what i saw on my transaction.

I came in to look for mooncakes to gift to our older generation of the family and friends, they have it all displayed near the entrance so pretty easy to find. So many selection, my son picked a modern style colorful mooncake that actually confused the receivers and thought they were toys... We explored the meat and seafood area where they still had some fresh live seafood such as shrimp, fish, and crabs. We also checked out the baked goods and they had some on sale due to being a day old! It's a nice place to explore as we wait for our dinner and table to be ready nearby. The staff checking us out was fast and helpful, also one of them went to get the bags for my moon cakes and before I knew it there was she was with the bags right as I checked out! I wasn't in a line for long too so it surprised me how fast she got them from another counter.

Every shelf and display case was fully stocked. The employees, except the cashier, who asked whether we were paying by cash or card, were NOT friendly or welcoming in any way: no greetings, no eye contact, nothing. We felt as though we did not exist. I observed this treatment for ALL customers in the store, not just my wife and me, but everyone. Prices were just ok. Sale items were good, but everyday items were not as good. I can honestly say I will never return to this market, as it is rather far from our home. More importantly, I am big on customer service, and we did not receive it while shopping there.
