Cars2Sell, East Windsor NJ - Where "Free and Clear" Apparently Means "We Have No Idea"…read moreIf you enjoy long games of phone tag, expired temp tags, and mystery paperwork that vanishes into the ether, you'll love Cars2Sell in East Windsor. My mother & I paid cash on August 20, 2024 for an As-IS Used Vehicle... Every document said the title was "free and clear." Spoiler: it wasn't. Nearly two months later, after endless holds, "meetings," and contradictory stories, we learned there was actually a lien on the car -- something the manager admitted on video a month after he signed said papers. When title was ready to picked up two months later He continued to say "he didn't know about it" Cue round two of expired tags, overnight mail fees, and a trip to the DMV so frustrating that even they suggested we bring the police. The officer told the manager he had 48 hours to get the title. That was October 13. It finally appeared on October 18, conveniently notarized on October 8--meaning it had been sitting somewhere for days while we were still being strung along. Turns out it was at their Hillside location all along. Funny, since I called Hillside, after my 1st paper tag was about to expire and I was told, "We can't help you, it's at East Windsor." When my mom finally picked up the title, the manager actually asked her to have my sister remove her negative review. That says it all. Yes, I bought the car as-is. I didn't realize that also meant good luck in getting a title without threatening a lawsuit for Breach of Contract So if you're thinking about buying from Cars2Sell, bring a camera, a lawyer, and a saint's level of patience. Because once they've got your money, you'll need all three.

Really? So, at 11:00 pm at night I leave with a car I do not love at an interest rate that is insane, but I was there with no car needing a car immediately and over an hour from home. I felt trapped, pressured. They emailed documents to my phone while they finished up with another client who came in after me. I was never told interest rate, payment amount or anything. By the time I got to that page, it was a 28% loan with $655 payments on a car I do not love at all! When I get it home there are someone's credit cards. DL, prayer beads, clothes in it! So, it was a repo they never even checked out! They just sold it to me! Forced me to buy a $3,000 warranty I did not want. A car that is $16,000 is going to end up costing me $47,000!!! That is pure insanity! Highway robbery and I feel like they do it on purpose and add all kinds of dealer fees. Then they put wrong temp tag on my car, and I get pulled over surrounded by cops thinking I am in a stolen car! I call the dealership & the manager says give me 2 minutes I will call you right back. Now the cops had me call! He DID NOT CALL BACK!!! DISGUSTING, PREDATORY DEALERSHIP AND WOULDNOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE EVER!!!!!

No matter what make or model you are looking for, there is a very strong chance they have it. What really stood out is the freedom to test drive multiple cars at your own pace. I test drove about six vehicles and even went back to retest one. Being able to take the cars out, get a real feel for them, and compare helped me make a very informed decision. I worked with an amazing team: Ross (sales), Steve (finance manager), and Sean (Shawn) in finance who handled the paperwork. Each of them made the experience exceptional. Ross was outstanding. I came in with only a general idea of what I wanted, more about the feel, power, and certain non negotiable features, and Ross listened carefully. Based on that, he curated an excellent lineup for me. After each test drive, he paid attention to my reactions and adjusted accordingly. He ultimately guided me to a car I had never even considered, but it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for, my dream car. Ross was patient, knowledgeable, and never made me feel rushed. He provided true customer service. When I noticed something slightly off with the brakes, he personally test drove the car to confirm my concern, and they immediately fixed the issue before I took delivery. Every question or concern I had, Ross handled quickly and professionally. He truly gets to know his customers, which is rare in today's car buying experience. Steve in finance was equally impressive. He came out, introduced himself, shook my hand, and focused on understanding my situation rather than pushing for a payment amount. He found me the best possible deal, even beating my pre approval, without excessive credit inquiries. He provided a detailed breakdown of every item before I signed anything and allowed me to accept or decline options with zero pressure. I was able to customize my package completely, which I have never experienced before. I walked out paying exactly what I expected, which is unheard of in car buying. Sean (Shawn) handled the paperwork and made the signing process smooth and stress free. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and provided copies of anything I requested. He kept the atmosphere relaxed and conversational, which really helped ease any anxiety. Even with multiple test drives and resolving a small issue, I was in and out in under four hours. That is incredibly efficient for such a thorough and personalized experience. Overall, if you are looking for an outstanding car buying experience, Auto Lenders of Princeton is the place to go. I came in unsure and left with a vehicle I absolutely love. I will definitely return again and again.

They even gave me a good deal on my trade. Initially, they told me 6% maybe 7% for my interest rate. They could only do just under 8% which is crap for my credit score. It wasn't a huge deal since I intended, and did, to refinance anyways. After was where it kind of went sideways. 2 months for my plates to arrive and all they did for me was nothing but shrugs and sorry. No one would good give me any explanation as to where the title was. Thankfully, my new lien holder was able to refinance without the title. I wish they would have been more honest or attentive at least to the status of my plates instead of letting me drive with an expired temp and not willing to reissue a new one.

Before the sale, I spent considerable time on FaceTime walking him through the car in detail. I showed him the condition of the vehicle, answered all of his questions, and even offered to have a pre-purchase inspection (PPI) performed before finalizing the deal. He declined and said he was comfortable moving forward. The transaction took approximately five days to complete. At no point before payment did he express concerns about accidents, paintwork, or any major issues with the vehicle. After taking possession of the car, the story suddenly changed. He began claiming that the car had been in an accident, had paintwork, and had numerous other issues. He then started asking for money back because he believed he had paid too much for the vehicle. What I found most telling is that when he expressed these concerns, I immediately offered to unwind the deal entirely and provide a full refund in exchange for the car. He declined. If the vehicle truly had all of the serious issues he claimed, accepting a full refund would seem like the obvious choice. The car left my possession covered in full PPF. After he began removing the PPF, additional claims started appearing. Despite the extensive list of alleged problems, the total repair bill from Porsche was reportedly only around $1,500. For someone claiming there were major undisclosed issues, that amount certainly tells a different story. Another concern he raised involved the engine and overall condition of the car. However, the over-rev report reportedly came back clean. Once again, the facts did not appear to support the claims being made. There was also confusion regarding Apple CarPlay. He insisted that the car should have come with factory-installed CarPlay. I explained that 2016 GT3 RS models did not come equipped with Apple CarPlay from the factory and that the system in the car was an OEM-style retrofit that I personally installed. Despite this explanation, he continued insisting I was wrong. I eventually sent him information confirming that 2016 GT3 RS models were not equipped with factory Apple CarPlay. At that point, I suggested that before accusing someone of misrepresenting a vehicle, it's important to fully understand the model being purchased--especially when dealing with high-end Porsches. During the 1.5 years I owned this GT3 RS, it was never involved in an accident and was never painted to my knowledge. I represented the car honestly, answered every question, offered a PPI before the sale, and even offered a full refund after the sale. Based on my experience, I would encourage anyone buying or selling a vehicle to document everything, conduct all inspections before completing the transaction, and make sure any concerns are addressed before money changes hands. This review reflects my personal experience. Others can evaluate the facts and draw their own conclusions.

And for that I have to give all the credit to Kerri Villani my Senior Sales Consultant, that's who this review and the five star rating is about, she made this easy and painless. The first thing she asked me was what was I looking for and she wasn't talking model, I told her I wanted to lower my monthly payment. She explained a few numbers to me, we agreed on the money down and she said give me a minute. Kerri came back with a price $35 lower than my current monthly payment. The deal was done. No haggling, no negotiations, no multiple trips to see what the Sales Manager said. My wife recently got a different make car, that deal took seven hours. Seven hours! I was back in my kitchen with my new Honda parked outside in three hours. Kerri Villani is the best! And I look forward to saying that about Hamilton Honda too. When I got there, I was treated very warmly, definitely sensed he was an honest salesman who is down right real with you. He's the kind of guy that focuses on transparency and gives you honest feed backs on what's worth it or not regardless of sales, which I think is an amazing trait you rarely see with car salesmen who are just hungry for their next sale. The 2013 MC wasn't in as good condition inside and Eric agreed even if it's a rare car,but he let me test drive their 2012 Granturismo sport they got few days ago and wasn't even listed yet. That car for the mileage and age was in pristine condition, you could've fooled me and said it was 2018 or 2019 and I would've bought it because it was that clean inside. Eric was also generous enough to give us the car for a really good deal. Agreements and paper work flew by and next thing I know, I was driving back to VA with my dream car. In lieu of bringing down the price lower than he wanted, I agreed to come back to his establishment for my services and future body work which we briefly discussed. Good guy, honest and hard working salesman. His success is a true testament to his dedication to what he loves. I highly recommend giving Miracle AutoSports a serious look for used luxury car owners.
