He said he had to go get it and a couple minutes later we saw him drive it around to the back of the building. But then there was a delay of 15 minutes before he came to get us. He took us to the car and all 4 doors were open. We smelled air freshener that soon dissipated. We spotted stains at the 4 corners of the interior roof and knew from research it was from the roof rails leaking. The sales man had opened the doors and 'bombed' the car to hide the musty smell of mildew. These leaks can corrode electronics and wiring. We told him no thanks and left.

How about walking over 40 feet to check the part for me like I suggested so I could have avoided another 2 hour drive and you could have taken some initiative to help out a customer who was left in a bad spot by LKQ? I go to junk yards often enough where I'd dealt with companies making mistakes, but every time, those companies have gone out of their way to make it right. It's as simple as, offering free shipping OR having the yard expedite the order for a costumer who was wronged OR getting hands on the item which was only 40 feet from you before I drove two hours OR even... just... apologizing. I was extremely patient with you, but perhaps that was the issue. Maybe you're more receptive to people making a scene. I would like to give credit to Shawn (Sean?) McKenna who realized the situation and without being prompted, apologized, like a decent person.
