What a great experience! First of all there was no wait- of course the the Snowbird population had left town :) Exam was pleasant the Eye Doctor took his time and answered all my questions. Daniela at the front was very patient and worked with me until I was able to acquire all information I needed ( New to tri focals). Never felt rushed. Store refuses to correct problem with lenses and frames, examined there, purchased there. Total cost was 720.00, my out of pocket was 360.00. I have a pair a glasses I wear 18 hours a day and required for driving I am on an extremally limited income and cannot afford to replace. I'm sure the problem I'm experiencing doesn't happen everyday, but note once they have your money.. your outta luck on a resolution. read more

Very unprofessional, very rude, didn't train my daughter how to put her contacts in and out properly, in fact the lenses got switched so once she got them in they were blurry, they didn't even bother to check them! They let her go home with blurry vision! Then she tore one of the contacts taking it out and had to wait 4 weeks to receive a replacement lense, then she lost one now she has to wait another 4-5 weeks before receiving the replacement and they are charging her $50 also! Because they didn't train her properly, the "trainer" was on her phone the whole time not even paying attention, never even checked when she said they were blurry. The guy who answers the phone flat out lied telling me he never told me he was going to put an order in for a replacement contact. I WARN ANYBODY THAT IS THINKING ABOUT USING THIS COMPANY TO RETHINK THAT CHOICE!!!! Honestly, Walmart is much better and less expensive and never rude! read more

Sure there was a little wait time before appt.s but it IS YUMA and there aren't too many options available. I have never had an optical exam so quick and thorough. They use the new telehealth optical option and it was way better than seeing an in person optometrist. The staff was kind and helpful, polite and professional read more

Yo fui a nationwide a ordenar unos lentes graduados para el sol y resulta que al recogerlos me entregaron unos lentes regulares. Hablé con una trabajadora de allí para aclarar el error y ella no se quiso hacer responsable y me dijo que me los podía cambiar pero tenía que pagar más de 50 dólares extra...cabe aclarar que yo ya había pagado $535.00 yo ya tenía lentes regulares y en esta ocasión necesitaba del sol por recomendación del especialista, y la empleada de nationwide lo sabía...quede muy insatisfecha con mis lentes porque yo no los necesitaba así. Also, when I was getting attended by a different doctor, I heard next door doctor VERNE complain about how patients were only Spanish speaking and how it was unfair and he didn't want to "put up with this bullshit" and told who he was speaking to. to not tell other staff, which mean he knows what he said was wrong. read more

Moved to Yuma in January 2019 and needed to get my eye exam in Aug so they set me up for Aug 13 @745am I had pre did the paper work a month in advance I was seen at 815am but that is ok I am retired so waiting was no problem for me the Dr. was great and will get my glasses thru them very reasonable thru my insurance. will be coming back for my yearly check up due to Diabetes type 2. If I could possibly give this place zero stars I would've. I have never been so disappointed of a doctor. He needs to have more patience with pediatric patients. I have never felt so disrespected as a mother and I will never take my daughter to this office again. No patience, no compassion and definitely not professional. I have been here 3 times in the past few weeks and they close at 7. Every time I get here (usually 1 hour-30 min before 7 because I work), they are closed! So annoying. Plus when call before I leave my house they always say they close at 7 and by the time I get to Yuma (I live in Somerton), they are not open anymore. Very frustrating. read more

Appt was at 3, and I had two kids one after another getting checked. 340 and no one has been called back. I approach the desk twice and all they say is let me check. If your vision insurance is out of the network at Nationwide do not go to this place for your vision needs. They have the worst customer service and the front desk employees are the reflection of the management. I went to this place to get my eye exam and I use contact lenses primarily, they sent me home without trials and said I had to wait 10 days to get trials. They never called me to tell me the trials were in, I called them to check and they said they had them so I picked them up, they refused to tell me what the prescription was before and just as I suspected they were the same prescription I had a couple of years ago. Needless to say the trials didn't work. They scheduled me in for a follow up, The appointment was at 10:45 Am and they had me waiting until almost 2 PM and when I told them I couldn't wait anymore, their excuse was they didn't have a doctor available . Why schedule a patient in for an appointment if that was the case ? and worst making me wait for hours just to tell me that. I went home and I called to speak with a manager who disregarded everything that had happened and got the nerve to tell me they were " trying" to help me. I paid $70 for nothing, I got glasses prescription that doesn't work, they refuse to give me the prescription for my contacts because they said it wasn't final but the glasses is the same prescription as the contacts so it isn't final either and they gave me that. I got no contacts that work, no prescription that will work for my glasses either. So basically I went there to waste my time and donated $70 to that place on top of getting bad customer service. This is the worst place ever, if you need out of network vision care just go to Walmart they will see you within a few days and they will send you home with trials that work because they get your prescription right the first time. Sitting in this place for an hour. Had an appointment at 215, got here at 2 to do the paperwork. It's now 315 waiting on the dr in the exam room. I'm sure they won't read this review this is yuma, they don't care about customer service. But at least people can read about this place. So in that hour I was never told what was going on, I had to keep asking when we were getting called they just looked at me with a blank stare. Dr. is amazing like any another. Not much good looking frames, variety is also not all that good. Frames are also super cheap made even though you get Oakley's, Nike, Guess, or Convers . Asked multiple times if they can replace my Oakley's or fix them and all i get is sure... go back the next 2 to 3 business days to pick them up and they " claim " to fix them but no. All they did was pop the lens back in which' they still popped out. Just a good place to get your prescription. read more

Was ignored when i walked in with my daughter for her appointment and other people that came in after us were helped before we were. No one is in the front door monitoring patients that are walking in. We waited almost an hour for her to be called back to get eyes examined and they made me sign something saying she was going to have her pupils dilated. (which the dr didn't even do) the doctor there is always nice though he gave me her prescription and said we were good to go. However they do not enforce social distancing. They let kids run around everywhere. read more

The wait time is ridiculous! We arrived early enough to complete the required paperwork and yet we still waited an hour or more to be seen. Not only did it take a long time to be seen but the check out process took just as long. The lady assisting seemed to be having a hard time and kept reaching out for help. It's understandable if they were new but seems as if they were in no rush to move on with the next customer as they had a lobby full! By far the worse customer service experience I've ever encountered in a clinic. The only positive thing I have to say is that they're open on Saturday's. Which is the main reason I stopped there. I am not one to leave reviews but this nationwide vision center is far from top notch. I had to go there 3 times to get lenses for frames that I purchased somewhere else. The first time they had to locate my insurance, and that meant standing around for over 15-20 mins. Then I was told that they would call me once they had the info. The call never happened. The second time I was taken care of by the manager I believe and the service was reasonable. After 2 weeks of waiting for the finished product I never received a call to tell me my glasses where in. I called them and then found out that my glasses were in. Once I went to pick them up, I am use to someone taking the time to have me try the glasses on and make sure everything was okay. Not here, was given the glasses at the counter and was told to have a nice day. Very poor customer service, and I can not recommend this office. Would rather travel up to Phoenix or over to San Diego to get glasses in the future. read more

I am 42 years old and have been wearing glasses and/or contacts since I was 6. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with an optometrist office. I took my Wife and my son in to see him because we were all due for eye exams. The office staff was not rude but seemed indifferent and were too busy figuring out what they were all going to order for lunch then concerned with helping us. The Optometrist placed drops in all of our eyes to dialate our pupils which I have NEVER had done by an Optometrist before? It really freaked my 10y/o son out and he was nothing but rude to him. It took him 3 trys to get my Rx right and he totally screwed up my wifes Rx. And after all this they try to upsale me on a purchase of contact lenses to get me to purchase a years supply for a BIG 10% discount? And then the girl (Opticain?)who is supposed to help you pick out frames and fit your glasses did nothing but blow smoke up our rear ends and tells us we looked great in every pair of glasses we tried on! My wife and I intentionally tried on frames that we knew looked horrible. And her response was always "Oh, those look great!" Needless to say I will NEVER go back here!! read more

Hi I took my son (14 yrs old) in to this office to get glasses. My son at age 6 had a brain tumor and brain surgery. He is doing awsome by the way!!! I communicted this to the staff and they were so helpfull and caring. They asked about the eye dialation for him and I said I would leave it up to the Dr, He said to dialate and I explained it to my son and what to expect . It was fine . My son has scar tissue on his eyes and the Dr explained this to me and to my son. Everyone was very kind and helpful . I would tell anyone I know to go to this office and to communicate with thier children openly as to what is going to happen as the staff does ..If there are questions ..just ask they will tell you ..I asked alot of questions... read more

Went about a week ago for an appointment and all I can say is Horrible customer service, took forever to be called back and as soon as me and my daughter walked in the girls in the front were so rude. One of them was eating something in the front picking at her braces and was very unprofessional and rude the only one that offered any help and was a young lady by the name of Myra. She gave me my paperwork and I sat down to fill it out. Once I went up to turn it in Myra was no longer sitting there, only the unprofessional one from earlier I believe her name was Stephanie so I handed her my paperwork and she was rude about it saying I didn't fill anything out correctly. I fixed my mistake and then sat back down, got called back about 40 min later the Girl that helped me in the back was actually very sweet and good with my daughter the doctor was friendly no issues there. I was instructed to look round for glasses and about another 45 minutes later still had not been helped my daughter got restless so we ended up just leaving.
