She understood our complicated case in a short time and started searching condos right after our skype call. We just told her our requirements and what she found were pretty much what we wanted. We flew to New York in December to see the condos that she proposed. Since we only had a few days to choose, we had to see at least three separate buildings in one day. Each building had a few options and she arranged all the visits accordingly. We didn't waste a minute on finding condos and looked in midtown, downtown, and in Financial District. She recommended us an attorney and accountant (who spoke Chinese), and took us to consult with them in person. We decided to buy condos by using LLC for tax purposes. It took longer to close than we thought, since we had to concur time difference with China as well as Christmas, New Year, and Chinese New Year vacations. Also, dealing with the LLC filing processes took longer than normal since we aren't US citizens and we couldn't file online or over the telephone. Elena was always there to make calls for us and fax necessary documents. After closing, we signed the exclusive leasing agreement right after with her without consulting with other companies because we are so happy with her. Elena took care of everything for our case including contacting attorneys, calling IRS, contacting accountants, consulting, answering messages at all times of the day etc. For people that don't have too much time, that's a big relief. She is very responsible and thinks even more thoughtfully than buyers. She guided us on every single step to avoid problems and manage expectations. She is a pleasure to work with. Even though we have culture and language differences, she could easily get the points. By the way, I highly recommend our attorney Erik Swenson. He is super responsive and replied to email very fast. NEIL ZAKEN was UNBELIEVABLE! Was looking for 3 bedroom apartment in Manhattan for my daughter and her two college roommates. Had no idea how to navigate the whole process, esp since we don't live in the city. From the first time I spoke with NEIL ZAKEN I knew it would all work out. I worked with Lana Tarashvili while looking for an apartment recently. Overall, it was a great experience and I'd have no hesitation recommending her to anyone looking for a place here. Her knowledge of the buildings, availability and managements is encyclopaedic -- I had done a bunch of research and seen ~20 places and was running out of ideas when I contacted Lana, but she still conjured up several options, around and under my price point, in only a few hours. I wasn't sure if I wanted something in a luxury tower or a walk-up with more personality, so she took me around, over a few days, to multiple options across categories with far more patience than I'd have shown myself!
