The store called me 3 days ago and said I could pick up my shotgun today which is actually past the 10 days. I received a phone call today that my application was still pending. When I called the store back i spoke to the owner he was extremely rude and short with me. I asked him why his store called me a few days earlier and told me I had no problems picking up my gun today. He responded with if I don't like his response he would cancel my order making it so I wound have to wait another 10 days. I asked him for a phone number so I could try and follow through with the process and if others that purchased before me where abel to get their guns. He wouldn't answer about wait times and said he would give me a number only to hang up on me. He then called me back in 2 minutes saying he canceled my order that a refund would be waiting at the store. I couldn't t believe this guys anger management issues and that he would do this after waiting the 10 day period. I contacted the police, they where able was to get me a partial refund. However, even though this guy cancelled my order he did not refund me the whole amount. The state fees and their fee was not refunded now I have to wait another 10 days to get another weapon. To the owner: I understand we are in hard times right now and that I'm sure your under a lot of stress. But you shouldn't t take your stress out on customers you should be great full you still have a job/business. Yes everything might be backlogged but you can nicely explain that and not have your employees call me and tell me I'm ok to pick up on a day only to not be. And to cancel a contract after waiting 10 days putting my family at risk just because your mad and taking away my legal right to purchase a gun shame on you . Then to take part of my money that you did not refund even worse. I hope others read this when deciding to do business there or purchase a gun. Treat people right. With that being said, I can't rave enough about the Reel Anglers Fly Shop and the owner Tom. I first met Tom a few months ago. I called his shop and was looking for a guide for the Lower Yuba River. I had been there several times and couldn't figure out how to fish it. I looked online and saw several other guides, but I chose Tom because of past reviews, his knowledge/experience with the River and the conversation I had with him over the phone. We met on the River. Tom was on time (ready to go) and eager. I brought a friend with me who had zero fly fishing experience. Tom spend about 15 minutes with him and showed him the basics. His teaching method was perfect. He didn't overload my friend with a ton of information, but gave him enough to grasp the concept and build on it. We fished the full day. Tom provided an excellent guide service 2nd to none. He told us where to cast (provided additional instruction to my friend about casting), told us to mend the line when needed, put new flies on when needed, dressed the flies, and he rowed his butt off. My buddy and I had plenty of opportunities to hook up but we missed them. No fault to Tom. Needless to say we did not get skunked! We had an awesome time on the water and like I said the service that was provided was top notch! The review doesn't end there. Due to my experience with Tom, I thought I would visit his fly shop in Grass Valley - it's about 20-30 minutes away from where I normally fish. His shop was well organized and had all of the gear you would need for fly fishing. I've mentioned this before, but Tom's knowledge really shines. I asked him what flies he recommended. He picked out a few - that day I got several to the net on the flies he picked out. Lately, I haven't had the chance to go to the fly shop so I made (2) phone orders with him. Here's why I'm writing this review - there was a mix up on getting my order shipped by Tom's local shipping business. My package was sent to Tom's fly shop instead of my home. I called Tom on Thursday of this week and told him I didn't receive my package and that I was heading to the River on Friday. Tom told me he would meet me there, give me flies that I would need, and at no charge. I couldn't believe it - because of that I will be a customer for life! I'm looking forward to the next drift trip with Tom! Thanks again!!

Rhett knew where the salmon had gotten up to on the Feather River. He told me where to put our float tubes in. I caught (and released) a huge steelhead, which pulled me around in the tube for a while.

It just took them over a month (5 weeks) to fix a flat tire and repair a cable wire on my son's electric scooter. They originally told me 2 weeks to fix the flat tire, and it would cost $50. I called them the day before 2 weeks, and they hadn't even touched the scooter yet. It then took me calling 3 more times for another week to get them to fix it. They then charged me $116 at checkout. Then for the wire repair they originally quoted me at 1 hour time which is $100. Upon pickup today I found out they added another $50 so grand total being $150. No morale accountability at this shop. They will hold whatever you bring in hostage for extended periods of time then over charge you at pickup. Do yourself a favor just drive down the hill. So many more trusted brands at better prices starting in Rocklin to Sacramento ebike stores.
