I was very pleased with Natomas Driving School. My instructor John was always on time, was easy to talk to, and helped me master the skills it takes to pass the driving test. I can now say that I am a licensed, and most importantly safe, driver because of the work my instructor put in with me. Most importantly when he was in the car with me, he didn't waste my learning time by scheduling more appointments. He would politely tell them to call and leave a voicemail so he could take care of it at a point more appropriate. When he was instructing me in the car, that's exactly what he did! I am a Senior at NP3 high school. My first fear with any instructor is to get a machine wearing human skin. John was by no stretch of the imagination a machine. He showed and always spoke in a very colloquial manner. He adapted and shifted focus based on my personality and responses and made sure to hit the key points the hardest. He also knew when to shift from humorous to stern. that is to say, when i tensed up he lightened the atmosphere with friendly conversation and when i made a more significant error a more stern voice to signify the gravity of that lesson. overall, he adapted and taught the best way that a teacher could: he matched my personality. I was really clueless & nervous about my first driving session, and i had to find a reasonable price because I have senior portraits in two weeks & $300 in cheer. He did a great job teaching me proper driving techniques not only to pass the test but for the everyday driving I would encounter. My driving instructor is the best, and gives insightful information on how to safely drive but also drive the way the laws are intended. He understands that driving is more than just getting your liscence but of a way of transportation and a way of living. And that it can be dangerous, and that driving skills for your whole life are a lot more important than just passing the driving test when you're 16. He uses fantastic techniques and is always at least 5 steps ahead. Don't listen to the other reviews. It's plain and simple. John is the greatest Driving Instructor there could ever be. When you call and he doesn't pick up. LEAVE HIM A MESSAGE WITH YOUR NAME AND NUMBER. The reason he doesn't pick up is probably because he's teaching a student at the moment. He will try to get back to you after 6 or so. He is an awesome instructor. I can't stress that enough! He doesn't teach you how to pass the driving test(Mickey Mouse Test). He teaches you how to drive! He's Great. read more

I'm a 16 year old in Elk Grove and i am currently using the Simply The Best Driving School behind the wheel training program and my review of it is its a great program. My driving instructor is very nice and doesn't make mistakes in what he teaches as well as providing a comfortable environment to drive in. He is best driving teacher ever. He taught me everything that I needed to know in order to pass my driving test and I passed it will no mistakes! He is also very honest. One time, I gave him $130 because it was two hours of driving. He gave me $65 back and said that I overpaid. He could have kept the money, but he didn't. My driving instructor was the best, he even took me to the DMV where I would be taking my test. I reccomend this driving school to anyone who's going to take their driving test to go to this school. Great experience! Finish very quickly, and the instructor always made sure I understood everything and had a great time as well. Because of Natomas Driving School I passed the in car driver's test with ease. I go to Natomas Pacific Pathways Prep, and he picked me up after school for our lesson. This is a great driving school, and it's cheaper than most other ones. The instructor will make you laugh and you don't feel like you're learning, but you're actually learning a whole lot.
