If your gonna book here stay in the hotel not the tiki rooms: We booked a tiki room and when we got to our room the ac and mini fridge did not work. The lady said she would have the maintenance there by 830. We came back from the pool at 9 and i noticed there were sand fleas all over the bathroom sink. they were crawling all over our belongings. I called the lady to tell her about the bugs and ask about the ac and she said the guy had already left. She came to my room and I showed her the sink so she said she would move me to 324. But that bathroom sink was even worse with the fleas. she said they get them a lot because they are so close to the water. I told her that was disgusting and if they are aware of this issue they should do something about it. she moved us to the hotel. so at this point it was past 10 pm and myself and my two kids had to move all of our belongings . I did try to get ahold of a manager to discuss this and was given the run around numerous times. I was even told the only manager they have is at the Vue hotel so I drove there. the supervisor there was snippy with me and she told me to talk to the supervisor at aloha. but every time I went to the front office I was told there wasn't one available. On a positive note, they give you free tickets to the zoo and you get in free to land of natura which was so much fun. so if your gonna book a stay make sure it's at the hotel part. The 2 pools were nice and there's two hot tubs. read more

Stayed July 4th - 6th with three children ages 13, 10, and 7 in a balcony room. Rooms - Very outdated and the walls are paper thin. You can hear almost everything being said on the other side of the walls and the hallways. If you can, request a corner room. If you are a light sleeper, beware. Amenities - water amenities are great for all ages. It's nice to see children of all ages playing together in the water course. That's where the amenities stop. A room that fits six with 4 towels, 2 one-ounce shampoo and conditioner and 1 bar of soap. You really have to bring everything from home. I mean everything. Would prefer less to carry and pack on a vacation. No food options on site with one restaurant within safe walkable distance. Arcade outdated and very overpriced ($1 a game). Only quarters accepted, but the quarter machine is broken. Laundry - $2 to wash, $2 to dry - quarters only, only one set available, and no soaps available. All-in-all, I wish I would have splurged on a more updated place to stay and definitely will next time I visit the Dells. read more

Pros: -Multiple pools and hot tubs, lake access and access to some of affiliated off-resort locations (such as The Lagoon). -Had a large tub in our room (with jets). -Bed was comfortable, room was decent enough. Cons: -Check-in felt more like an interrogation than a welcoming, really no hospitality to speak of. -They appear to have a problem with unauthorized guests, as they make you wear a paper wrist band and charge you $30 if you lose it. -Room had mildewy/moldy smell (that seemed to give my wife headaches), and the "garden view" was just a window next to the loud and busy pool. -Only used the common pools and hot tubs once (when they opened in the morning) because they were always packed with kids. -No on-site food options or breakfast. -Room fridge temperature was too low and froze everything, adjusting temperature didn't fix it. -Limited staff, no one available during the night or early morning. -Too expensive for what you get, as this is in no ways a luxury resort but rather just a step up from the standard hotel chains. Overall, perhaps worth it if you want a kid-friendly place your kids will enjoy, but not a great place for couples. read more

We just returned from our stay in the Dells over the 4th of July weekend with 5 kids. The Natura properties were beautiful, well stocked with towels and and offered many amenities to enjoy. Our kids, ranging from 5-13, loved the lagoon and aloha beach's inflatable obstacle course. This was our first time at the Dells. Also a spur of the moment getaway and we were so excited to see they had a room available that would accommodate the 7 of us so last minute. We received paper wrist bands upon our arrival that we were told MUST be worn for our entire stay. Thankfully we were only there for 3 days. Paper & 5 kids who spent 3 solid days in the water is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. The first wrist band came off after our first visit to the lagoon. I kid you not, it was just moments after the wrist band fell off that we were asked where the wrist band was. You greeted us at the gate, we just checked in, are you freaking serious?! You don't remember we all had wristbands when we walked in not an hour or two prior.,,, If you loose it and cannot turn it in to the front desk for a new one they charge you $20. Are you kidding me? Thankfully after searching we found a few remnants of paper sufficient enough to get a new one, but $20 had we not? Unbelievable..., You know my name, you have my reservation and know how many dates I'm staying..., We spent a hefty penny for the 7 of us to stay here for the weekend and the fact that the "wrist band police" were on our tail about it the entire time threatening to charge us $20 for a new one, could we not provide the ruined one, Is absolutely asinine. My family and I are currently staying at this resort, and we are super disappointed by our overall experience. We visit the Dells every year, and this year we really wanted to stay on the lake. The lake area is very picturesque at Aloha Beach so we booked it and couldn't wait to get here. Our first 2 days were rainy so we ended at the indoor pool. It is so outdated, not well maintained, and I saw dead bugs on the pool deck. It is also not heated, so the water is chilly at best. The outdoor pool is also not heated, so it was too cold for us even in mid August. When we finally did get to use the beach, we were informed by the life jacket employee that children had to be 6 years old to use the floating waterpark, so our 2 youngest couldn't use it. We wouldn't have booked this resort if we had that information, and the only place I saw it listed was on a sign at the edge of the water. We left the beach and went to their sister resort to swim in the lagoon, but the water there was so cold my kids lips turned blue. They charge a high resort fee and told me it's because of all the pools and the make, but most of these amenities I'm paying for we couldn't even use! We won't even by attempting to go to the larger Natura waterpark since none of my children can go on anything there. The rooms are also not clean, and haven't been renovated probably ever. Plus check in is 4pm, which is late enough, but our room wasn't even ready at 4. We also had 5 people in our reservation but they would only give us 4 bath towels. Spend your money elsewhere, there are plenty of places that will at least make some effort to earn it. read more

Do not request a king room or accept a king room offer as an "upgrade". They will put you in their basement which is in a constant state of humidity. Maybe from the Pool? Maybe from Lake Delton? When we arrived in our room, EVERYTHING was moist - the carpet, the bedsheets, etc. It felt icky. I couldn't help but think we were breathing in mold and mildew the whole time we were in there. They need to install some sort of dehumidifier. Other than that, it's a decent, no thrills hotel. I probably would not stay again unless I was out of options. read more

I did not stay here, but I feel like this resort is a bit scammy or at least fasely advertising their room rates. I attempted to book a room through their site twice and it did not go through, the second time was with the link they even sent to me. I emailed a screenshot of it and then was told to book through their sister site. The price for 2 nights was $160 more than what was listed on their aloha resort site. The guy I spoke with talked to his manager to see if they would honor what they had listed but they would not. Be careful that the price reflected may not be the actual price on their actual site. We have stayed here a few times already and really enjoyed it, until now. The stay was fine, but when we got back home we noticed that the hotel had charged us an extra 200 dollars without any notice. When we called to figure out why we were told that they had charged us for "smoking in the room". We did not smoke in the room. What the hell? So we asked to speak to a manager and were told that it didn't matter WHO we spoke to and that no one was going to reverse the charge. So, essentially they stole 200 dollars from us. read more

We have stayed here before and it has been ok until this year. Outdoor pool closed and they sprayed the property with weed killer and signs said keep off grass. Explained we were disappointed and asked for compensation. I was told they have to maintain their property sometime...seriously ..... we were there 3 days and couldn't use the facilities. I would not have booked there if I knew the outdoor pool was closed. They should have posted on the website. The front desk didn't care what so ever. I work in customer service and am very sure we will not be back to Aloha Beach as we go annually to the dells. On a side note, the Air Conditioner (window units) froze the room...shut off...then you would sweat and the air conditioner would come on and freeze you. Wifi is horrible. Plan on using your data. I love Wisonsin Dells--I always have, and, thanks to Aloha, I beleive I always will. I am not much for waterparks in general, especially ones that are indoors. In Wisco Dells, these monstousities are all the rage, making it hard to find a hotel that is relazxig and befitted a twenty-something (and not so strenous on the pocket book). There are a bunch of cabin-type hotels, but these tend to be to be a little rustic for my "I hate to leave the comfotrts of the city" taste. Aloha is a good compromise: clean rooms without all the glitz. Some of my favorite things about Aloha: its family owned: Same cute little polish family since it opened. It is right on lake delton. Has Indoor and outdoor pools/hot tubs, Tons of paddle boats and conoes on the lake (who woulda thought I would LOVE paddle boating!!!). Clean rooms. Super-accomodating staff. Check it out if you are looking for a nice family-owned hotel on the lake without the heavy glitz (and price tag). read more

I'm very torn about this place and how many stars to give it! I wanted a room with a jacuzzi, and some place not in the heart of everything. Aloha Beach seemed to give the best bang for your buck. This is a place that I would call "kid friendly". I'm a mom myself and hate when people complain about children in their reviews, but the kids at this place were quite rambunctious! If you're looking for a quiet trip, don't stay here when school is out of session. Once the weekend hit, there was no possible way to go to bed early or sleep late. The walls and ceilings are quite thin! I did love that this place was right on the lake. If you're into water sports, this might be the place for you. The hotel has boats you can use, but for all of your other water sporting needs, there's a little place up the road with various things for rent. They have a hotel and a motel, and I do hope the condition of the rooms in the motel were no worse than the so-called "Jacuzzi Suite"! Both of the handles on the jacuzzi were broken, the box spring was stained, and the "suite" is no suite at all! It had a tiny frig and microwave... that's it! It seemed very misrepresented! This mom&pop "hotel" definitely has a motel feel! They have indoor and outdoor pools here (but no lifeguard), and a playlot. They also have grills outside if you want to BBQ. There's an arcade in the basement, but most of the games were either broken or stole your money. They have a little "store" at the front desk which sells charcoal, sodas, plates, and just about anything you might need. The rooms don't come with an iron, but you can request one. They have coffee for free in the morning by the front desk, and a washer and dryer in the basement which came in handy. But certainly no room service. I liked this place a lot because they seemed to have thought of everything. The low rating came with not only the condition of the rooms, but what appeared to be a blood stain, and the problem I had surrounding it. So there was a blood stain on the comforter that I did not put there! I complained and was told "Some stains just don't come out"! I was in total shock and asked for another comforter. Apparently, they only have one comforter per room, because when the maid took mine, it wasn't returned till the next day. I was given the same comforter, and it appeared that they tried to unsuccessfully remove the stain with bleach. I spent the rest of my stay without a comforter. Maybe the comforter was "clean", but that was incredibly gross! And if it weren't for that comforter, I might have stayed there again on my next trip to the Dells. read more

We go to the Dells a few times a year. We usually stay at one of the huge resorts. However, we noticed our kids don't like the indoor resorts, so we decided against it this off season. Our criteria was an indoor pool, and on the water. Aloha Beach has that, so we thought we'd give it a shot. It was the cleanest place I've ever been. I usually don't notice things like that. As long as it is clean, I'm ok. But this was noticeably clean, if that makes sense. As in WOW, this place is immaculate! Not only was the room spotless, the pool area was as well. (Outside there was a lot of geese poop in the grass, but it's the time of year, and the geese were worth it.) We got an upgrade, which was nice, although the room with the privacy wall makes it a problem for everyone to watch TV. Keep that in mind. Also, you have to turn the fridge on/up to get it to work. The grounds were beautiful, especially this time of year. We came a bit late for the paddleboats and canoes, though. But it was nice enough that we want to try our summer trip here, because I think we are all waterparked out, and we just need regular pools and the lake. The price is right, and then some. I only wish they had suites or cabins with kitchens because we like to cook. They do have grills and firepits, though, so we CAN grill if we want. (We pick up meat in Black Earth on the way in.) The price can't be beat, either. My only minor quibble was the room was kind of noisy. I heard people upstairs, and next to us, but we normally go for cabins and villas and the like, or places with HUGE ceilings. NO ONE ELSE NOTICED, just me. I am hypersensitive to that. Compare to the huge hotels in the area, Aloha needs a little bit of renovation. Rooms are average, nothing fancy, but ok for a couple of days (only couple of days). No coffee maker in the room, glad I brought my own coffee because there is no restaurant in the hotel, not even a little coffee shop to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee and a sandwich. If you stay with kids, that would be very convenient. The hotel has a small arcade room (with no AC and some bugs flying around) with machines that are from 1990. The pool table made our night thought. The pools are really nice and the lakeview is amazing. Hotel provides paddle boats and some canoes. We loved that! Overall we had a lot of fun, and for the price is an ok hotel. read more

Aloha Beach is a very functional hotel. Here are a few things worth noting about my stay... Room: Outdated not only sums up the room, it sums up the entire facility. That said, our room was extremely clean. We were "upgraded" to a basement jacuzzi suite. It was a large room for two people and featured a king size bed. There is a serious humidity problem throughout the basement. The A/C was off when we arrived and it was extremely moist in the room... Carpet, bedding, you name it. It seemed to ease up once the A/C cooled things down but the carpet always seemed moist. The entire basement felt humid and had a stale odor. The bathroom was old but functional. Excellent shower pressure and no shortage of hot water. Despite the outdatedness and humidity, the room served it's purpose as a place to sleep and shower. Staff: We had very little interaction with the staff. I spoke to them when we checked in and checked out. They did not seem like hospitality professionals but they got their job done. Grounds: Beautiful grounds. Nice pool area (indoor and outdoor). Free canoes and paddle boats to take out into Lake Delton - huge plus. Common areas were nice - small arcade and pool table. The front desk had free coffee in the morning - I did not have any but it was a nice feature given the rooms do not have coffee makers. All in all, Aloha Beach served it's purpose. It was not the focal point of our trip by any means but we did not go to the Dells to lounge in a hotel room. This was my first trip to the Dells so I do not have any other hotels to compare this to, but for the price, location, room quality, and the free Nohas Ark admission, this was a solid option. read more

If you are a punk, looking to party in the dells, irritate other patrons, don't bother coming to this establishment. You will be removed. Go stay at Mt Olympus, they're happy to host you. Family owned and they care! Lester and family always on-site and care about your stay. We have stayed in both the long-run if rooms as well as the triple level building. Both have advantages and are very comfortable. Lots of fire pits, help yourself! Plenty of outdoor seating and area to roam about. Friendly patrons, beach, volleyball, canoes, paddle boats, indoor and outdoor pools, indoor and outdoor jacuzzis, sauna, game room, plenty of free ice for coolers! Just stayed the weekend at Aloha. Very close to all activities and downtown area. The staff was very pleasant and resourceful. The amenities can be a little outdated but everything was a very clean and well kept. Very nice inside pool and sauna. Our room was bigger than expected, we had a whirlpool queen size bed unit on the first floor which was actually the basement. Wasn't happy about that but again very clean and right by the pool area. Very quiet and relaxing weekend. If you're looking for a cheaper option than the larger hotels, I would recommend Aloha. read more

Stayed at the Aloha Resort during the weekend of the Automotion Festival and was satisfied with the stay. The online pictures make the rooms seem outdated but our room was not like the pictures. The beds were comfortable to my liking, however, I like firmness. The pillows on the contrary were hard and could be because they seemed fairly new. We had an issue with the tv and the front desk fixed it while we went out for breakfast. Each room also features a patio with chairs that face the lake. We also had a Jacuzzi in our room which was clean and taken care of. The location is about a mile from downtown and is just enough distance to have peace and quiet. I'd recommend staying here overall. The only downfall is that they didn't offer waterpark passes which should be considered changing. read more

The staff is very friendly. They are Polish, but they speak English. They have a nice view of the lake, and are right on it. They have small boats and paddle boats you can use. They have a small volleyball court, and and indoor outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and jacuzzi. You will love this place. Loved staying here. It's so close to the main attractions but it feels like your further away because it's hidden close to lake delton and peaceful. The owners were so nice and explained everything to us very well. They have indoor and outdoor pools, they have outdoor grills they have an outside playground that the kids really enjoyed. They have canoes on site that you can use free with life jackets and they also have fires at night we did smores. In the morning there were a couple of ducks we sat out with them iT was nice. Aloha is the only place we stay at !!! Never ever any musty smell like most other Resorts or hotels. This year they have brand new super pillow top beds. The beds are extremely comfortable!!! I noticed as soon as we walked into the room. The pools both outdoor and indoor were heated and super clean. I see a pool guy every morning cleaning the pools. The water pressure in the shower is surprisingly strong ! Most hotels have weak pressure. The faculty and grounds are constantly kept up (Super Clean). Aloha Beach has been my family's Wisconsin Dells resort since I was a kid, and it is never a disappointment. They staff is always working hard to make sure the outside and pools stay clean and the front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. They have canoes and paddle boats that you can take on lake Delton that are free to use with your stay. They have fishing, 2 pools, fire pits, and they are a close drive to the tourist attractions. Its a very relaxing get away and its at a reasonable price, I will back again! read more

Our family group of 24 found Aloha Beach by a fluke but were glad we did. After refusing to stay at another motel that was disgusting we went to Aloha Beach to look at the rooms and were very happy. The rooms are clean (bathrooms were clean too...no gross body hair found) they all have lake views of Lake Delton. The staff is friendly and you can tell there is pride of ownership. Keep in mind rates are reasonable so you will not get a Deluxe condo like at the Wilderness however this is very family friendly and will not bust the bank and still offers two pools and hot tubs(indoor and outdoor) kiddie pool, sauna, paddle boats, canoes, sand volleyball, play area for kids, fire pits, grills and swimming in the nice lake frontage. The outdoor grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Our family tends to be picky, however this trip we wanted to scale back and take advantage of the Dells attractions instead of spending all our time at one pricey resort. Rooms range (mid week summertime) from $119 -179. This place made our kids interact with one another and reminded us adults of the trips we had to the Dells when we were kids. If you are ultra picky you may find complaints, but no where is perfect especially in the Dells! We will return here and were happy to have found this gem. read more
