Three stars because the two times I've gone there I really liked the outcome. However the lady never seems to be there. I always get told she has left for the day around 5. So one day I was off and stopped off at 11.30 in the morning and was told she hadn't started work yet. My advice would be to make an appointment for sure, I just don't think it would work out any better considering she's not there? The girls at the desk there are always helpful and offer an eyebrow wax instead but the wax has always left me irritated so that doesn't work. So after 6 failed trips I've decided to not try here anymore and just go to the threading place under El Prez. They never have a wait and have someone always ready to thread at a very decent price. read more

This review is for my girl Shiva! A friend recommended her to me years ago and she couldn't say enough amazing things about her. That friend has since moved away from San Diego and regularly tells me how much she misses Shiva's services and I feel for her cause I don't know what I would do without her (the COVID closure was rough). My eyebrows were a hot mess when I first met Shiva. I had a bald spot on a part of my brows that just wouldn't grow back from the work of all the previous threaders I've ran through. They all just seemed to work around the problem and told me there really wasn't any fixing it. But Shiva set out a plan and did what they couldn't. I went in for eyebrow threading, underarm and upper lip waxing. The eyebrow lady, Shiva, was very courteous to explain what she was going to do to my brows and asked if I wanted certain parts of my eyebrows to be fixed up (I had uneven eyebrows coming in). She was able to fix up my brows (to the best of her ability) to my satisfaction. As for the waxing, both ladies I saw were extremely quick and straight to the point; just how I like it. By the end of the treatments, I had to ask "That's it? It's already done?" They are super quick and all of the hair is out. So if you are in need of last minute waxing (underarm), this is the place to run to. read more

I came today to try out the new threading services offered by Natura here at the Pacific Beach location. I'm really happy I did! I was met by Shiva in the lobby and liked her right away. She is friendly and professional. She got to work as soon as I sat in the chair and began with a consultation. I was impressed that she not only asked the right questions and listened, but she offered a great solution as well. I had previously gone to a different salon and they over threaded one of my eyebrows. Shiva offered me a solution to fix the problem and I felt reassured that she will be able to fix it in time if I follow her advice. She also advised me to apply castor oil to my eyebrows to get them to grow faster. I never knew this before. I loved that she took so much time with me explaining all of the things I can do to get my brows back in shape! No one else has ever done this before. She definitely paid a lot of attention to detail. She took her time threading my eyebrows and showed me each one separately as she was working. You can tell that she takes pride in her work and is a true professional. Afterwards she offered to fill them in for me, but I was pretty lazy today and hadn't bothered with makeup so I didn't see the need. I had booked this appointment online, it's really easy to do, or you can just call in and do it that way. I'm a regular at the La Mesa location, but I already re-booked with Shiva for threading. It's definitely worth the drive for me. They offer the same services here, but they also do hair and nails here and now threading. It's street parking, but hey, it's the beach. I found parking a couple doors down on a Saturday. It's clean, calm, and organized. You'll get an email and phone call reminder for your upcoming appointment. I like those because I tend to forget after a couple weeks. If you're on the fence about threading or just looking for a new spot, give Natura a call and ask for Shiva. I don't think I have EVER been so happy with working with Shiva. She is absolutely amazing. I went to someone else in between seeing her and they messed up all of my brow growing progress and made them complete a disaster (aka uneven from left to right). For a person who values perfect eyebrows ---this needed to be fixed ASAP. Shiva jumped right in and worked with me almost weekly then spaced out to biweekly to get my brows back to perfection. Once I got there, I instantly noticed how nice it smelled and how professional everything looked. The lady at the front desk was super nice. I have been 2 months overdue for my eyebrows to be threaded. After having them done in LA for the past 5 years I started to research on Yelp who the best brow threader was and it's Shiva! I booked an appointment same day and was early but was serviced in minutes. Shiva greeted me and then told me that I was tweezing and cutting my eyebrows too much. She cleaned then up real good and explained that they need to grow back more and get there uniform shape. They looked so much better! Can't wait to come back.
