Cheryl is truly a god send, and I'm so grateful for her. I've been dealing with cyclical fatigue, nausea, brain fog, depression, and other debilitating health issues which forced me to quit my job over 5 years ago to focus on my health. After countless of doctors, blood tests, medications, supplements, allergy evaluations, food sensitivity tests, elimination diets...and lots and lots of tears and prayers, a friend of mine suggested I see Cheryl for a possible food allergy. Although I've done multiple allergy tests (MD offices and online kits) which provided no definitive health improvements, I was willing to try anything. I was practically half dead at that point. Physically. Mentally. Emotionally. Makes me tear up just thinking about it. I emailed Cheryl and she benevolently responded in detail with unexpected empathy about my health. Cheryl is amazing and it's quite unbelievable what she did for me, for which, I will forever be grateful. Here goes: As a child I had severe allergies that manifested itself as migraines/terrible eye aches. My poor mother thought I had a brain tumor back then! Fast forward to present day: after naturally staving off my allergies in my middle-age adulthood (honestly was probably just living with my allergies but at least I wasn't suffering), we moved to LA two years ago- and that's when my allergies returned with a VENGEANCE. Night after night I couldn't sleep- my sinuses and nostrils were 100% blocked forcing me to breathe through my mouth which promptly hurt from dry/cotton mouth; finally resorted to sleeping sitting up to encourage gravity to drain a sinus passage just enough so that I could squeeze through some air. Mornings were a joke- sneezing 15-20 times, much nose-blowing and sinus clearing, chronic scratchy throat. Day after day. You get the picture. After watching and hearing her miserable wreck of a husband struggle through yet another horrible night's sleep, my wife says to me, "Will you *please* call someone to help you with this?" She tested me for specific allergens by having me touch a glass vial of the offending substance near my elbow and conducting a simple strength test (pulling my thumb and pinky apart). 2. We selected the top 4 allergens to which I had the most severe reaction (in my case household allergens like dust mites, molds, household chemicals). 3. She then treated me for 10-15 minutes with BIE. Basically it's a machine that calibrates to the frequency of the allergens; I held one electrode in my hand; while Cheryl touched me with the second electrode on specific acupuncture points on my face, torso, and feet. She said she was 'balancing my body so that it would not recognize these substances as allergens' ok fine. You feel nothing and we're chatting about kids and traveling the whole time. 4. That was it. I asked her what happens next and Cheryl said that some people experience symptom relief immediately while others take up to 10 days. Did I need to schedule a follow up visit? Nope- she said some people take 2-4 visits but just to monitor my condition and call her again in 10 days. The whole first visit/treatment took maybe an hour and that was because we were chatting about kids and traveling the whole time. For the first 9 days, my allergies were the same if not worse. Cheryl had mentioned that some people can experience a 'detox or worsening of symptoms' before it gets better- or maybe I'd need more visits or maybe BIE just didn't work for me. Sighs. On the 10th day, in the middle of work I noticed something- I could breathe. Cheryl has changed my life! I realize that is a bold statement, but it's true: I was plagued by allergies my whole life and had basically resigned to an existence of Claritin and Nasonex. When my fiancé and I inherited a cat, that I was severely allergic to, Cheryl was my last hope. I had zero expectations. We visited her and she is in fact very friendly, but that's where it ends. I have no idea how there are many good reviews for this type of "healing". What does it heal and how? Well, she places some food extracts close to your body and this gizmo is supposed to figure out how and what you are allergic to. She then proceeds to use another gizmo, which emits some frequencies and this is supposed to alter your bodies immune system to fix all your calamities! GIVE ME A BREAK!! Well, I'm here to tell you that we wasted $175 on this and had ZERO improvements. I have to give it to her, she is friendly enough to convince you to pay the $175. I came to Cheryl last year from a Group On deal. I was severely allergic to cats. My mom had just moved back from Portland and bought her 3 cats with her. I could not stay in her apartment longer than 5 minutes and I would start to wheeze and my eyes would start to water and become inflamed. I could not stay because within an hour I would have to take my inhaler in order to be able to breath. This was a major bummer to my mom and I, since she could not have me over for her homemade Italian dinners or just to chat, etc. I work as a independent contractor as a Massage Therapist, and don't have medical benefits, insurance and could not afford to see a doctor to get allergy treatments. Cheryl is the true definition of a healer. I have been a long time sufferer of allergies and have had numerous doctors tell me over the years that there was nothing much they could do to help me-that I should just keep taking my OTC meds.
