This place surely makes money REALLY EASY. I cannot believe some of the prices they have on the wall. Its ridiculously overpriced for what they provide. I dont think its WORTH IT at all. This review is solely based on my experience on getting a lash perm. I get lash perm regularly and I know how it is done. I always get them done back home in LA, and of course, they always do a fantastic job. All my friends ask where I get them done and it lasts for so long, about 3-4 months!! I got here and the so-called receptionist isnt the nicest. Very unprofessional. I dont think she even knows what customer service is. She's not rude rude but shes rude because I felt it. The girl who did my lash perm, her name was Summer, if I remember correctly. I dont know is it because she does extensions more that shes not too expert on lash perm on she just doesnt know how to do it like a pro. My lashes literally look the same. Maybe VERY SLIGHTLY curled at the tip but its just my flat lashes with no curls. I was so shocked to see my lashes after she said she was done. Why? Because I didnt notice any change. When I got them done in LA, my lashes were like SUPER STRAIGHT CURLED UP that when I open my eyes, it would almost touch my eyebrow, literally. Well, my lashes are STICKY, GLUEY AND CLUMPED together. I dont know what the hell she used but it SHOULDNT be sticky like this. They usually end it with conditioner/oil and makes my lash look sort of 'wet' but definitely not sticky. When I told her it doesnt look permed at all, she said she left the perm agent for long enough that if she left it longer, my lashes would have fried. I'm laughing because she didnt even take an hour do to the whole lash perm. It usually takes 1.5 hours when I get it done. She obviously doesnt have any knowledge on lash perm I guess. I was so speechless how arrogant she was and I just left because I didnt want to argue. I should have left when I noticed how nonchalant the receptionist was. Wasted my money and time and got nothing back in return. I am going back to LA in 2 weeks for a week and Ill just get it done there. I am posting a pic with this review with the perm I got here compared to LA, so they can see what LASH PERM supposed to look alike. DONT COME HERE AND WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. I strongly advise everyone against coming to this Salon. The entire staff from the hair dressers up to the owner Niki are dishonest and lack basic integrity. EXTREMELY bad customer service. They operate under the facade of professionals when in reality they are extremely greedy and unprofessional. They are absolutely a pleasure to work with when you are paying and pleased but as soon as they make a mistake the true reality of the their business practice becomes apparent. I personally had Kyrsti Ann Nelson work on my hair. She was uneducated in the treatment she provided for me. Not only was the treatment ineffective; my hair was damaged. When I received a terrible lash lift elsewhere, she was able to book me quickly and help masquerade the issue using eyelash extensions, individually trying out different lash sizes until we found the perfect fit. Absolutely satisfied with my lash extension experience. Niki has a soft touch and was extremely gentle with my eye area. She worked diligently for an hour and fifteen minutes. I went for mink extensions and it feels like my own. Very soft and light. I love that my lashes are now long and full. Worth the price! I can shave off 10 min of my time doing makeup. The salon/spa is new. Neat and clean with modern contemporary glam decor. Muted pink walls in every room is soothing. Each private room is named after flowers: wild orchid, hibiscus, etc. Cute. Appointments should be booked 3 weeks in advance. Lash extensions from Natural Beauty are in high demand. I was fortunate to have gotten in at such a late notice. I being recently going to Sage for my hair and loving it she did a balayage, deep conditioning, cut, toning, and highlights all these services turned out great! Pros: modern, clean decor with professional staff including hair stylists, nail specialist etc. Nikki is absolutely excellent. I get my lashes done there and she has done a fabulous job each and every time. Cons: sometimes the reception staff gets confused and appointments need to be rescheduled quite a bit. On occasion this was entirely understandable but the other three times were for reasons less so. I made an appointment for a facial and the next available slot was over a month away, but I was OK to wait. I entered the spa and immediately saw 3-4 employees sitting in various places eating their lunch, shouting loudly across the room to each other. Now I am OK with casual environments, but when you advertise yourself as a "spa" you should create a calm and clean environment (at least that's what I personally expect from a spa). This place seems more like a standard hair salon that happens to offer facials. I patiently waited 25 minutes passed my appointment time while watching a hair dresser sip wine WHILE styling someone's hair (eeeeeek!). The facial itself was good and my skin looked great for a week after, which is the only reason I'm not giving a lower score. It was, of course, difficult to relax during the facial since I could still hear the staff chatting and shouting and laughing throughout the whole session. I've tried many other artists and there's just too many cons to everyone else. Summer will only take an hour. No one wants to lie flat longer than hour. Walk-in just for an eyebrow wax, standing at reception desk lady waited a good 2 minutes before she acknowledge me standing there while another woman was on her cell phone. No aloha from either. Receptionist laughs at me and says no As shes walking past me..... and that was that I didn't feel respected waking in and a wax only takes 10 min! This a review based on their eyebrow waxing services. Making an appointment was easy and friendly with them and when it came time for my appointment they were able to see me right on time. The place was very new and clean and I was very comfortable while getting my eyebrows waxed. Summer was very efficient and friendly and did a really good job at shaping my brows. I felt like it wasn't too expensive either, around $23 for both eyebrow and lip wax. I've been to one other eyebrow place in Hilo called Tram's and the price was around the same, but despite making an appointment there, my friend and I still had to wait like 20 minutes to be seen which came off a little unprofessional. I see Tiffany for my lashes. She is quite and soft spoken but very sweet. She is definitely my #1 go to gal anytime I need my lash fix! She definitely pays attention to detail. The only complaint I have about natural beauty is the lack of available appointments for my lash fill! I've been going to Natural Beauty for over a year and still have a difficult time. I really think Natural Beauty should provide more availability to those frequent customers. Eyelash extensions are becoming a "must have" these days and they will lose business if they continue having issues with lack appointment availability. I absolutely loved coming here. I came here a few times for eyebrow threading. I used to go to Trams Day spa and decided to try this because it was the same price. I wish I came here instead. I like how professional they present themselves. Coming from the mainland I still want similar service. When you schedule your appointment you are seen at your appointment and there's not a long line of people waiting unlike at Trams. I like how there's two people that do eyebrow threading and they do a great job and you are given some privacy. The best part about this place is that they are clean, they wash their hands before touching you! It's small things like these that matters to me. I do not recommend the last and brow tinting at this salon. I have had these procedures done many times, both professionally ,and doing it myself at home. Tiffany was the person doing this procedure. I thought she dyed my brows perfectly. so I had quite a bit of confidence in her to tint my lashes. She works quietly, efficiently and wears a mask, which was kind of weird for me. No conversation or "heads up" about what is happening . When she was done, I was disappointed, and she knew it, but insisted that is how it is done. I pointed out that my lower lashes were not evening tinted, and some places had no tint at all on the upper lashes. Tiffany and I had spoke on the phone prior to my appointment, and she had said she would try to tint my lower lashes. I am not going to have this particular procedure done again. It is not worth calling the salon to tell them how I feel. She was confident that this is how it is done. I have to say this is probably the second worst result that I have experienced by a professional. I am writing this review less than 24 hours after the procedure, and can say that about 50% of the last and brow tint has worn off. This product is supposed to last 3 weeks to a month. Strange. I would like to call them but feel that I would get the run around and excuses. Perhaps Tiffany has little experience with blondies,but I will not be going back for this particular service. Disappointed and out $50.00 plus a $10.00 tip. I was very happy with my brows until today.They look half done. It did not last. read more

Came in to do eyebrow waxing. The receptionist was on the phone, I waited a few seconds before a stylist came and helped me. She took me right away when I told her I wanted I just wanted to wax my brows. She was quick and precise and friendly. I even inquired about microblading my eyebrows, the person that waxes was pretty booked. My appt. isn't until August but it must mean she's good at what she does. I actually can't wait! My wife and I have tried most (not all) of the pedicure places in Hilo. This is, by far, the best so far. My pedicurist's name was Lashem, I can't remember the name of the other. I'm prone to ingrown toenails if the nails are cut just right. I mentioned this to Lashem, and she was SUPER careful not to cut too deeply. They were able to accommodate both of us at the same time and we didn't feel like we were in the middle of a thoroughfare with people passing by every 15 seconds. The place looked very professional and classy, unlike most of the places in Hilo that look like they cram as many services into a building as possible to accommodate more people. One of the best things about our experience is that our pedicurists actually spoke English, and didn't jabber back and forth to each other the entire time in some foreign tongue while pretending to care about our nails/feet. We didn't feel rushed either, like we were on an assembly line. I can easily see this place being our regular spa in the future. read more

Hands down, best eyelash extensions in the STATE of Hawaii. Niki and Tiffany do flawless work! Individual lash extensions are carefully applied with precision and care. I have been getting my extensions done for about 4 years now and have not had any problems. Lashes last long and because of the precise application they do not damage my natural lashes and falls out with the normal lash cycle. I have gone to one other place in Oahu to fill and their lashes have fallen out faster then the pre-existing lashes Niki had applied, probably due to the glue product they use and they cost twice as much. To me, you want to go somewhere that you can trust that their products are safe and of high quality, you will not have to worry if you go to Natural Beauty. When it comes to my lashes, I only trust Niki or Tiffany. If you want a GREAT deal with impeccable work, go to Natural Beauty, you will not regret it!!! I've also done permanent makeup with Niki for my eyebrows. She is the only one in the state that does 3D eyebrows which gives you a completely natural look in filling in your eyebrows. Eyebrows are filled in with individual strokes technique and trust me no one thinks they're tattooed and I have received a lot of complements on how natural they look!!! She uses natural vegetable dye and I have not had any side/effects or a "ugly" faded color change. I was always scared to get them done because it's "permanent" and a tattoo which I associate with some amount of pain but I promise it does not hurt and it comes out amazing!!! You can shower or wake up in the morning and don't have to do a thing. It is most definitely worth it!!!
