The best designer in Hilo!…read more I have been in Hilo for a few years, and a great haircut is not easy to come by. Especially if you have curlier hair and cowlicks. I asked Jon (the stylist) to bring life into my shoulder-length hair, that was at this point, a blunt dull drag. He added some bleach-free highlights or "lifts" and blended all of my layers back in. There was a time in my life when I had luxurious Victoria's Secret-esque layers...and I have had so many janky cuts over the past few years that I pretty much said goodbye to that style. Jon gave me a heavy trim, and evened things back out. He is from this island, however he has done hair in California for over a decade and done a wide variety of work, including male cuts. Go see him! Highly recommended!!
