The good: on point with Covid measures. Good news for Chinatown in Borough Park- like the perfect storm- haha. they took my temp, required masks, wore masks, sanitized my hands, and even the bottoms of my shoes upon entrance. The other good (thank god) it was cheap! Found the deal on Groupon (caveat emptor), but called first, and they urged me not to buy through Groupon, and to just come in in, and they'd honor the same price (pretty typical Groupon poster move). The bad: the massage! (At least by "Mimi") she def was NOT licensed. This was the most non-relaxing massage ever! Her movements were rough and rapid. I asked for hard pressure, not to be shaken and poked in rapid succession, on a table with uneven legs to boot! The table was flat wood board hard. It was warmed, but very hard- zero cushioning, outside of the blanket covering. My boobs were squished and hurt like a mammogram. Anyway, it was bad. At any given time I expressed any pleasure, she went faster and harder (often on my neck), like a rub n tug gone wild The ugly: about 2 minutes in, I knew it was sucking, so I asked for the massage to go only 60 minutes rather than my initially requested 90. She acknowledged me the approximately 4 times I repeated myself. Including to whoever the person was that kept entering the room during the massage. Creepy. Anyway, something was said in their native tongue. She knew I asked for 60 mins only, because she was able to proclaim "ohhh, why" in English. When it came time to pay, they wanted me to pay for the 90 mins of course, and then we argued for a few, until I said it was a "bad" massage, and I mimicked her violent pulls and shakes -then I asked to see her license. They have updated their place and got a new location. Looks very clean and pretty. Their massages are amazing and their lashes look so good. I usually do my lashes with Yuki (the owner) or Cici. Lily is great with massages but so are the other girls. read more

It was very professional and my masseuse was courteous and skilled, and the massage was very unique! Seriously, this place is a little gem! Everyone here is so welcoming and friendly! They give you tea after your appt is over. And also very reasonably priced! I travel from greenpoint to bay ridge just to get my lashes done by Stacy! She's so patient and takes her time strategically placing every little hair per lash... which shows because i get compliments on them daily! I booked a couples massage with my hubby. The place is very small and the rooms are tiny. The women who are doing massages are very rough poking and rubbing elbows on very sensitive parts like the neck and shoulders. I was not relaxed or feeling good and had to tell her ouch a couple of times. The walls are thin so you can hear everything that's going on in the lobby. Small tiny room with squeaking tables. Very distracting and unprofessional when they keep whispering in their native language and other staff interrupting by opening the room door. Bottom line I am sore, bruised and feel like they are not licensed for massages. My neck feels like I have whiplash and barely can turn my head. I have had plenty of Swedish deep tissue massages with licensed professionals and trust me this is not it!! read more

NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL!! My husband and I wanted a couples massage for Valentine's weekend. I called Natural Beauty Spa, before purchasing the Groupon voucher just to ensure they had an appointment available for Valentine's weekend, before purchasing. I spoke with a man on the phone who said NOT to buy the groupon, if I payed in person I would get the same deal, plus an upgrade. He then said their earliest appointment for a couples massage would be Sunday (February 16), at 7:30pm. I told him, I would call him right back, just to make sure the time worked out for my husband as well. I called the man back just a few minutes later to book our appointment, I was so excited! He then only took my phone number down, and my name. I asked him if there was anything to send me, or, if he at least got my name correctly, and actually asked him to reconfirm it back to me (I have a difficult name). He said, "yeah yeah don't worry, OK see you!". We drove all the way there, from one end of Brooklyn to the other, . My husband and I were so excited to get our couples massage! We walked in only for that SAME man to greet us by saying, "uhhh did you get a confirmation or a text message?". I immediately recognized his voice and said, "You were the one I spoke to on the phone twice, and even asked you this same question. No I didn't get a text, but YOU confirmed my appointment". He continued to pretend to look at a paper, continued to stutter "uhhh" back and forth for a few minutes, even picked up another call, and tried to cover it up by saying, "did you call me from another number, maybe you have two numbers that's why we don't have you down". I'm sorry, what!?! No, I don't have 2 numbers, and what does that have to do with you taking MY appointment over the phone???? He simply said, "uhh yeah sorry about that". Completely unprofessional, and not even an ounce of guilt. I walked out of there SO furious. We don't get massages, so this was a big deal for us. This was such a disappointment, a complete waste of time, and so upsetting. Complete lack of professionalism, do yourself a favor and stay clear. read more

Yuki does beautiful eyelash extensions. She takes her time placing each eyelash! It was definitely worth every penny

Came here for eyelash extensions. 1. Be prepared for them to keep trying to sell "upgrades" to you. I bought the 4D lashes on Groupon and turns out that is there cluster eyelashes so very misleading. The owner said it wouldn't look good. So I upgraded to regular ones for extra. 2. Both my eyes have had swelling because of these lashes. I have gotten my lashes done dozens of times and it has NEVER happened. I had to get an antibiotic from my doctor and have been using it. Please avoid this place. read more

I get deep tissue massages regularly and I really like a strong deep tissue massage. I can usually tolerate a lot of pressure, and I feel better afterwards. That being said, I have never left a massage in so much pain as I was from this one. The massage I received was not actually working on deep tissue, but was very strong on my skin and bones. I was uncomfortable or in pain the entire time and I ended up feeling like my skin was being rubbed out and I felt black and blue - and sure enough, I looked in the mirror the next day and I was bruised! A few times during the massage I said I didn't like it but she did not understand English so I tried making other sounds to convey that I was in pain or not enjoying the massage. There was also a point when she climbed on the table on top of me to do it harder but never was there a point when it felt relaxing or felt like I was receiving proper care. Rather than leaving more healed or more refreshed, I left in awful pain and with marks on my back and I ended up not being able to turn my head to the left for a couple days after that awful experience. Upon checkout I was asked IN FRONT OF HER if I liked her massage and I said nothing, but if she wasn't there I would have complained in person. She just giggled and said "I give strong massage hee hee" - there was nothing funny about the pain I endured during and after. I want a refund and that woman to receive proper training or never do that to anyone again. read more
