He flew in-cabin from Utah to our local airport in California with a flight nanny who made sure that he was happy, knew that he was safe and remained comfortable throughout his travels. From the moment she unzipped his carrier bag and we scooped him into our arms, we knew that he was the perfect missing puzzle piece to our family. Our love for our sweet Miso began months and months before we met him when we were introduced to Candace from Artisan Doodles, Utah, online. When we were looking for the perfect breeder, it was important to us that our puppy's health and well-being were of utmost priority. Unlike other breeders who could not tell us whether the parent dogs passed health screenings, Artisan Doodle dogs all came health screened and guaranteed. We were also dedicated to picking a breeder who socialized puppies from a young age to ensure perfect temperaments and happy dogs. We were beyond blessed when Jenn (who we lovingly refer to as Momma Jenn) was the puppy raiser for Miso's litter. We never missed a single day of his little life as she posted detailed pictures and videos of all the puppies from the day that they were born until they went to their forever homes. Although so early on we were not sure which puppy we were going to have the opportunity to choose by the time our puppy pick came, our family quickly fell in love with all of them (and started choosing favorites based on personality). It was so much fun to text each other "Puppy Alert!" whenever Jenn would post her daily pictures and videos. It was so apparent, even from the beginning, how much Jenn and her family loved each and every little pup. She would sit on the floor with them and they would all run to greet her, they ventured off to play but would look back at her to feel secure, and just a simple little whistle would always grab their attention. Jenn did a fantastic job socializing them with children of all ages and to the sights, sounds and smells that they would need to get used to in order to be confident in their new homes, such as exposing them to the vacuum, baby toys and the backyard. As the time grew near to pick our puppy, we could have easily done so from Jenn's careful video/photo documentation, however, we were fortunate that Jenn and Candance invited us to meet the puppies in person and to pick based upon personality and our interactions with them. Although we lived in a different state, we jumped at the opportunity to see these puppies, all of whom we were a little bit in love with, in person. Of course we had a few favorites, but we were in for a complete shock when the puppy that we were the most in love with from the pictures and videos was available. His sweet, friendly little personality was even more adorable in person than we could have imagined. After conducting a few of our own little personality measures on him, we decided that he was PERFECT for our family. We would wait two more weeks (which seemed like forever) before a professional flight nanny would fly him home to us. Our Miso is the sweetest, happiest, healthiest dog we have ever known. He loves to give hugs and kisses, to play in his ball pit, to fetch his toys and to go on walks. One of his favorite things to do is to meet new people. He always gets stopped by people on our walks who want to pet him and to know more about him. Our vet is impressed by his sweet, tolerant temperament and his good health. Miso has already brought smiles to residents of a residential treatment facility, young children who have stopped to play with him, and many people who follow him on his Instagram page, @alwayslovemiso. All in all, when we decide to add another pup to our family, we wouldn't hesitate to choose another Artisan Doodle. The amount of love that Miso was given from the day that he was born is evident in his happy, lovable and sweet natured-temperament, today. We are so thankful that Candance and Momma Jenn are still in our lives, liking and following Miso's pictures on social media and commenting on how much he is growing. I'm on the fence about this place because of a few different reasons…read more My pet got a foxtail stuck in her ear for the second time within a week period. The first time it happened we did an emergency visit to Blue Pearl up North where we had the most awful experience. This appointment with A Caring Vet was scheduled for a next day appointment to where it wasn't considered emergent, it was just like any other appointment. Before I go on let me add that the facilities were well decorated so they didn't feel like some sort of insane asylum or prison like we had felt at Blue Pearl. Although, they did feel very unsanitary. Like the floors hadn't been mopped in quite some time and could use a good deep clean. And the staff was super nice! The appointment came out to $267 after sedation and the removal of the foxtail. Since it wasn't an emergency visit I figured it wouldn't be outrageously expensive compared to our first visit to Blue Pearl, but there was only about a $50 difference. They also said "We get pets in here all the time with the same problem." And I'm wondering to myself, why in the heck the appointment was this appointment so expensive if you they get these kinds of visits so frequently? Lastly, I wasn't a big fan of how they did the sedation on my pet. They kept here there in a kennel until it was her turn for her surgery it was 11am and they said she should be done anywhere in between 2pm-6pm. I asked if it were possible for me to take her and then if they gave me a 10 minutes heads up I could get her back to the facility for her surgery. They said "With the way surgeries are set up she could possibly not be seen today if the surgical team needs to wait for her to get here." I was not a huge fan of being parted with my pet for hours while she was sitting in a kennel when she could have been comfortable at home. If they could implement some other kind of system that would definitely change my 3/5 stars. Pet owners are already paying the facility enough the least they could do is schedule surgeries rather than keep them away from home all day.

I have referred him to many of my friends. However, to be perfectly honest, his prices are a bit high. I'm sure he has raised his prices because the cost of inflation although at times I could not bring either my cat or my dog to visit him because of the price of his office visit. I often thought it would be beneficial, if he allowed his old patients to be grandfathered in and allow them to pay what his office visit was five years ago. I was quite impressed with the testimonials given about Goldendoodles Utah that I found on the internet. Now I see why I saw so many positive remarks. First, let me say that their professional kennel is quite impressive. The whole family seems to pitch in. (Although mom is the professional Breeder) the facility was immaculate on a huge "doggy farm". You know, like the one you always heard about as a kid, upstate where your beloved pet went to go frolic with other dogs in a wide open doggy paradise....haha. But this one is actually real. They have all their Dams onsite and some if not all the Sires. It's anything but a puppy mill. This is a pro Breeder who is selective in who she sells to. You have to sign a contract, and in that contract you have to promise to never give your dog to a shelter for any reason, but to take them back to GU to be "rehomed". These dogs are the top of the top as far as health, intelligence, physicality and of course care. They see the vet more times before you take them home than most humans see the doctor in 10 years. They get shots, exams, dew claw removal hip assessment, you name it. This dedication to excellence has made her lines absolutely phenomenal. My puppy is incredibly smart. And of course gorgeous! They have you leave them something you have worn with your scent on it at selection day 2 weeks before you pick them up. So they are familiar with you before you get them. The Breeder who has interviewed you to find out what type of dog you are looking for as well as what your lifestyle is, introduces you to pups she thinks would be a great match. She knows their personalities as she socializes them closely before you get there. That requires her to know her pups. Of course you can choose whatever available pup you want to, but the Breeder gives a great recommendation. For us, it was perfection! That is why I am writing this review. I couldn't be more grateful. From the beginning of the process until you are driving home with your new family member, the process at Goldendoodles Utah is about the best one you could hope for. They even send you home with a blanket that mom and sibs slept on so they feel comfortable for the first few nights. It makes a difference. A big one. If you are looking for the best Goldendoodles in Salt Lake City, or even if you are out of state, I couldn't say enough good things about this Goldendoodle family. As you can tell, I tried! Haha

We were excited to welcome a pet into our home and completely fell in love with one of the dogs there. After speaking with staff, we decided to take the foster-to-adopt route to make sure she would be a good fit for our lifestyle. We invested in everything she would need--leash, harness, and other supplies--and were genuinely hopeful. Unfortunately, it became clear that she was not the right fit for our home. Some of the training and behavior information we were given did not match our actual experience, which made things challenging. We ultimately made what we felt was the most responsible and compassionate decision for the dog--that she would be happier in a home better suited to her needs. The reason for my one-star review is how we were treated when we returned her. When we arrived, we were asked if we intended to adopt, and when we said no, the reaction from staff was immediate and cold. Before we even had a moment to process, the leash and harness we had purchased were abruptly taken from my hands, and that was the last time we saw the dog. Not only was this handled in an incredibly unprofessional way, but the items we had personally purchased were never returned to us, effectively taking our property without consent. No explanation, no conversation, no acknowledgment--just silence. A survey was handed to us, and we were gestured toward the door. It was an incredibly disheartening and dehumanizing experience during what was already a difficult decision for us. Returning a pet is not easy, and we approached it with care and concern for the animal's well-being. To be treated as if we had done something wrong--and to have our belongings taken in the process--was unacceptable. I strongly encourage anyone considering adoption to think carefully about where they go, as the support and professionalism of the staff can make a huge difference in the process.
