Gio, Marco and all of their team members are absolutely incredible!…read more I had a leak underneath my bathtub due to an old drain. I got it fixed once before but the issue came back, so I decided it was time to rip the bath rub out and install something new. I reached out to a bunch of contractors in the Palm Springs area and got people over to provide me with quotes. Turns out some did not have proper licenses (yet advertise they do), some quoted me for labor but wanted me to go buy all the parts and tiles, some showed up an hour late etc. Gio made a perfect impression. He communicated well about his ETA, talked me through the process and provided me with a rough estimate. Later that evening, he sent me a quote via email with the breakdown and I also got to select the tile at that point. Gio had also renovated bathrooms in a few other condos in my HOA, which definitely gave me even more confidence. I paid the down-payment and Marco showed up a few days later with his workers. They put down paper and plastic everywhere to try and keep my place as clean and dust free as possible. They ripped out the bathroom in one day. Then the plumber came to redo plumbing. He rebuilt the pipes and drain, which was definitely needed. They then left water standing in the drain during the weekend to make sure it wouldn't leak (it didn't). Then the tilers took about 3 days doing the sides and floor. On the final day, the plumber came back to install the fixtures and sliding door. Start to finish, the labor took a week. The workers always showed up within the hour that they said they would. Gio and Marco were super available via call and text when needed. And everyone was super friendly. I can't thank them enough for the amazing job they did.

Owes us over $4,000, we've been ghosted, even his workers will not return. Left equipment onsite, he's moved onto his next project in Los Angeles leaving us and I'm sure others behind. This is an unsolicited review…read more Geneva Builder, Inc. modified a part of my 2d home in LaQuinta recently. As a retired Project Director of capital projects for the power and process inductries and a retired P.E., I wrote up what I wanted to achieve for this project and got 4 quotes for the work. Geneva Builder's was by far the most complete quote. Brandon, the owner, was very professional, knowledgeable and quick to respond to my questions. As a matter of fact, he usually anticipated my questions a few days before I needed to ask them. The work went through without a hitch, on budget and ahead of the schedule I wanted. The quality of the work was very good, better than I expected - and I expected a lot. Overall, I feel I got more than I paid for. I'll summarize my Geneva Builder's experience by saying that if I'd had more subcontractor's with Geneva Builder's professionalism, quality of work and attention to detail, my old job as a project director would have been a lot easier. After my recent experience contracting with Geneva Builder, using them for my upcoming home improvement projects is a no-brainer. Why would I look anywhere else? One last point: While I always want to pay less, I feel that Brandon's price was fair and very competitive relative to the other quotes I received, and as mentioned above, I feel I got more than I paid for. Brandon: Thank You. Well done. I'll be in touch. Jim Mitchell,

Great communications, real employees not a bunch of unknowns subs roaming your home while under construction. Very good on site management of the job tasks each day as well as timelines texted so we knew what to expect. Geneva Builder worked with us on material purchasing so we could get the best product at the best price. While we did most of the design, they did offer up advice and options and we worked together to create a final product. Highly recommended...

In short: if you are in Palm Springs / the Coachella Valley area and reading this while having just…read moreexperienced a flood, forget any other "big name" flood response crew. You are not going to find a better team than this. Dan's team is exceptionally skilled, organized, respectful and most importantly FAST- and I wish I'd found them sooner! Full review: When our tenants called about a flood at our rental property in Palm Springs, I panicked and did what I thought was the "safe" move: I hired a big-name local flood response company with decent (but not amazing) reviews. Six days later, the house was somehow still damp. Progress felt slow, and even my insurance adjuster strongly suggested that I do my research when choosing the company to do the repairs once the house was actually dry. I knew I didn't want that first company doing the actual repairs. I turned to Yelp looking for someone who could move fast, work cleanly, and understand the insurance process; someone who could get the job done with attention to detail, given how much attention we'd put into our home initially, but somebody who could work super, super fast. I thought I'd message AVA Flood Restoration and just get a second opinion on how the drying was going. I was on my way out to dinner and Dan (the owner) said he could come over later that night. I was already impressed, but wanted to wait and see what he'd say. Dan came over right at 9pm as promised. He told me that for a house of our size it simply didn't have the right amount of dryers, and that the house should have already been dry given it had been six days. He told me he had a team ready to go that night if needed, but that either way, he could assure me he could work with speed and attention to detail, and had experience with other homes where design was a key element. I slept on it, and the next morning, fired the other company and hired Dan. He took over from the other company right away, brought in about double the number of dryers, and was candid that the prior team had cut corners. That transparency was a huge deal because at that point I just wanted the truth and a clear plan. He handled explaining what had happened to my insurance company so insurance could just pay his team directly rather than me having to act as a middleman. From there, the pace and organization were night and day. Beyond drying, Dan's foreman, Kody, led the rebuild and he's genuinely skilled. New flooring, drywall, electrical and plumbing repairs, cabinets, paint... the whole scope. The crew was also incredibly consistent: they were there every day between 7-8am, and if I had questions they took the time to explain what was happening and why. The #1 reason I'd recommend Dan is communication. I'm a millennial, communication is everything to me. Dan is truly next-level. He responds to everything, is always a phone call away day or night, and he texts frequent updates so you're never left wondering what's going on. A lot of contractors say they communicate well. Dan actually does. Three weeks later, our house was back together and our tenants were back in, honestly better than ever. They made a pretty awful experience as good as it could have been - an enormous thank you to all of you: Dan, Kody, Mike, Derek - while we hope we never have a flood again, if we ever do need a contractor for other work, we absolutely know who to call. By contrast, our neighbors up the street had a similar pipe burst a year prior, and it took them six months to get back to normal dealing with other slower contractors who just didn't prioritize them. If you're dealing with flood damage and need someone who will show up, follow through, and move with urgency, Dan and AVA Flood Restoration are the real deal.

He really seems to know what he's doing as far as his vision on how to transform a space. However, this was the last time I spoke to him. He never got back to me on anything he said he would do. Won't be doing any business with this company anymore due to his lack of follow through. A simple phone call with an I'm too busy at the moment would've been just fine. So Scott finally called back... he must have seen my review. He apologized for not getting back to me and added that he would have an estimate done and sent to me by Friday. In addition, the disposal under the kitchen sink he installed literally fell apart. We no longer trust in his workmanship so we had it repair ourselves.
